先行研究では,大規模多人数同時参加型オンラインロールプレイングゲームの中に存在する仮想世界は,自宅や職場から隔離された心地の良い第3 の居場所である「サードプレイス」としての機能を有するとされる.しかし,仮想世界におけるプレイヤーの本来の目的は「ゲームコンテンツ」を楽しむことにあり,どのような経緯で他者との世間話といった「交流」を目的に仮想世界に訪問するようになるかが明らかでない.本稿は,同一集団に属するプレイヤーらの語りや「ゲームコンテンツ」と「交流」の各プレイ時間の推移から,仮想世界はゲームコンテンツへの没入期および欠乏期を繰り返すことで,次第にゲームコンテンツを楽しむ場から交流を楽しむ場へと主役割が遷移する『創発的サードプレイス』であることを示した.また,創発的サードプレイスの成立には,サードプレイスの基盤を成す「交流」と,各成員の能動的な参加が肝要な「集団活動」との互恵関係が重要となることを示した.ゲームコンテンツ活動は,集団を構成する成員が垂直的関係の中で共通目標の達成を目指すことで集団帰属意識を向上させ,交流活動の基盤となるコミュニティの成員間のつながりを維持・強化させていた.さらに,ゲームコンテンツ活動中の成員間の垂直的関係性と,交流活動における水平的関係性とが互いに侵食しないように作用させる関係規範の存在が,創発的サードプレイスの成立・維持に大きな影響を及ぼしていた.

オマーンオフィオライト中の珪長質岩類は,海嶺期のもの,後期火成岩類に伴われるもの(衝上開始期),オフィオライト層序の下部に貫入する花崗岩質小貫入岩類(大陸衝上期)の3種類に区分できる.本報告では,これらのうちワジ・フィズ上流ザイミ付近のマントルかんらん岩中に貫入するものと,南部のハイレイン・ブロックのワジ・ハイミリアのマントルかんらん岩に貫入する大陸衝上期の花崗岩質小貫入岩体について,年代と岩石化学的特徴を述べる.これらの珪長質岩類の年代は,これまでに得られていた海嶺期および衝上開始期のものとほぼ同じかやや若い.また全岩化学組成は,海嶺期および衝上開始期のものと著しく異なることから,これらとは全く起源物質が異なることが分かる.詳細な検討から,ザイミのものは基底部変成岩類の白雲母を含むものの脱水分解溶融で,またワジ・ハイミリヤのホルンブレンドを含む岩石は角閃岩の部分溶融で説明可能である.

As I have been paraphrasing English proverbs for more than ten years, and now I am doing the same way with Chinese sayings consisting of four character groups. They are appropriate teaching materials for the purpose of not only the growth and improvement of the young but also the development of expression in English, I think. They have a wider range of expression than those of the two or three character groups: they express emphasis, exaggeration, explanation, description, modification and admiration. So they sound grave, imposing, exaggerated and powerful. I arranged the paraphrased Chinese characters according to five groups: I. Noun phrase e. g.規矩準縄:criterion, models and rules in judging things II. Adverb phrase and clause e. g.円転滑脱:without arousing bitter feelings III. Gerund and Infinitive e. g.下学上達:beginning with learning easy things and arriving at high and abstract subjects by degrees IV. Sentence e. g.運否天賦:God decides on whether we are lucky or not. V. Proverb e. g.一陽来復:After a storm comes a calm. Especially, I tried to paraphrase them through using expression that cannot be found in various English dictionaries. In addition, I include illustrative sentences using the four-letters Chinese characters.

Traditionnellement, les recits de voyage imaginaire exploraient les regions lointaines car la plausibilite d'un pays imaginaire augmente a mesure que se reduisent les connaissances historico-geographiques du lecteur. Au XX^e siecle, au contraire, beaucoup d'ecrivains installent leurs pays imaginaires paradoxalement en Europe. Nous traitons ici les pays imaginaires censes se situer en Europe orientale: 1. Poldevie (1): Cette caricature d'un pays de l'Est, inventee en 1929 par Alain Meillet, journaliste nationaliste, reapparut trois fois jusqu'a l'annee 1945 figurant dans Les derniers jours (1936) de Raymond Queneau, la ≪Legende poldeve≫ (42) de Marcel Ayme, Mon ami Pierrot (45) de Queneau. 2. Orsinie: Chroniques orsiniennes (1976) et Malafrena (79) d'Ursula K. Le Guin, postulent un pays europeen suppose peripherique (Malafrana decrit le XIX^e siecle de ce pays sous l'influence du regime Metternich). 3. Caronie: Roman Roi (1983) et Roman furieux (87) de Renaud Camus precisent la situation historico-geographique de la Caronie par la carte geographique, la genelogie du royaume (ou se trouve Josephine Tascher et la reine Victoria) et un dictionnaire biographique. 4. Poldevie (2): La Belle Hortense (1985), L'Enlevement d'Hortense (87), L'Exil d'Hortense (90) et Le Chevalier Silence (97) de Jacques Roubaud reprennent la Poldevie comme pays purement speculatif et ≪impossible≫ a la maniere de Borges ou de Calvino. Notre etude vise a une poetique descriptive des systemes onomastiques qutonomes, du point de vue semantique; nous examinons la variete de la relation entre l'invention fictive, les elements de la realite, et les emprunts intertextuels des oeuvres precedentes.

Ontic structural realism (hereafter OSR) is one of the most significant ontological attitudes toward modern physics. On close examination, OSR can be classified into several versions in terms of the relative ontological status of objects and relations. Previous studies have not carefully dealt with the differences among the several versions of OSR, mainly because the meanings of some metaphysical concepts are ambiguous. Among them, one way to formulate OSR is to appeal to the idea of identity. However, “identity” can be regarded as either numerical identity or essence. In this article, the derivations of OSR’s minimal statements from the cases in quantum theory give a clear-cut explanation about relationships between metaphysical and scientific statements and show that the formulation of OSR should be based on essence.

卸売市場の価格決定方法は, 従来のセリ方式にかわって, 相対方式が増大している. 近年の川下の流通環境の変化に対応するものであるが, こうした卸売市場における形成価格が変遷する中, 現在の卸売市場の価格がさまざまな取引形態に対して適切な指標価格として機能しているかどうかを検証してみる必要がある. そこで本研究は, 東京都中央卸売市場の9卸売市場における主要野菜品目の卸売市場平均価格に関する「価格効率性」を, Fama (1976) の弱度効率性仮説に基づいて, 時系列分析法の援用によって計量的に検証する. 分析期間は1989年から2002年までの14年間で, 卸売市場の価格決定方式が大きく変遷した2期に区分して, 価格効率性の比較分析を行った. 分析手順は, Engle and Granger (1987) が提示した2段階推定手続きによる.分析結果によると, 相対取引がかなり伸長した現在の東京都中央卸売市場は, 入荷量変動に起因して短期には価格変動を起こしているが, 長期均衡の観点からは, 外的ショックを回復させようとする価格挙動が統計的に確認され, 以前よりも価格安定指向を強めていた. また, その結果でもあるが, 東京都内の中央卸売市場間の, いわば空間的価格格差も縮小していた. 時系列的にも, 空間的にも価格均衡を指向する作用が機能していて, 現在の卸売市場価格は効率的であると結論づけた.

奈良県立美術館に所蔵される「架鷹図屛風」は、曽我直庵(生没年不詳、桃山時代)の架鷹図に和歌賛が認められた紙本著色押絵貼六曲一双屛風である。本作は、大正7 年(1918)刊行の『国華』339 号で『国華』主幹の瀧精一(1873~1945)氏により「島津公爵家所蔵の直庵の鷹図」として紹介されており、数ある鷹図の中でも直庵の精緻な画技が際立つ作である。しかし、本作は、これまで直庵の画蹟として取り上げられることはあっても、宮廷貴族による寄合書として考究されることはなかった。当該期を代表する能書である近衛信尹(1565~1614)の関与が推定されながら、和歌賛の筆者も定まらず、制作の時期やその背景も不明のままとなっていたのである。本作の成立事情に着目することは、近世初期の宮廷における文芸活動、とりわけ近衛信尹の書作を解明するきっかけにもなるだろう。したがって、本稿では宮廷貴族の寄合書という新たな視点から、本作の成立事情を明らかにすることを目標とした。まず、和歌賛の書風と花押から筆者6 名を確定し、慶長13 年(1608)から同19 年の間に制作された作であることを導き出した。さらに、本作の鷹繋ぎの作法が近衛家の家人であった下毛野氏の鷹術に基づくこと、近衛家に伝来する近衛信尹筆「鷹画賛」が本作に類似する構成であること、そして近衛家と島津家との緊密な関係などを勘案した結果、本作は島津家が発注し、近衛信尹が斡旋した作であるとの結論に至った。 また、上述した制作時期は、徳川幕府によって公家への統制が強化された時期に相当する。放鷹禁止に始まる公家統制政策は、幕府と朝廷との間に軋轢を生み、後陽成天皇(1571~1617)を譲位へと至らしめる。そうした最中、放鷹を主題とする屛風が、放鷹権を否定された公家によってプロデュースされ、島津家へと渡っていたという事実は、宮廷文芸の在り方が時代の動向とも無関係ではなかったことを想像させる。

In canine lymphoma, drug resistance is the major factor hindering treatment. In this study, we performed immunohistochemical examination of P-glycoprotein (P-gp) and breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP), which are considered as transporters related to multidrug resistance in three recurrent canine lymphomas. All cases were negative for both transporters before anticancer drug administration, but became positive after this administration. The expression was confirmed in capillary endothelial cells, such as in brain capillaries acting as the blood-brain barrier (BBB). It is suggested that both transporters expressed on capillary endothelial cells in lymphoma tissue may inhibit the spread of anticancer drugs into tumor tissues from blood, the same as the BBB. Therefore, capillary endothelial cells could act as a blood-tumor barrier, which might be involved in drug resistance in canine lymphoma.

甲殻類・鰓脚綱のうち,「大型鰓脚類」(ホウネンエビ目,カブトエビ目,カイエビ目,タマカイエビ目)の分類に関する資料を報告した。既存の分類体系における「大型鰓脚類」の位置付けについての概論を述べたうえで,日本の「大型鰓脚類」相について最近の知見にもとづき整理した。Brtek(1997)のリストを改訂して,現世の「大型鰓脚類」全体について科および属レベル・タクサまでのリストをまとめた。日本の「大型鰓脚類」相は8科8属11種(ホウネンエビ目3種,カブトエビ目3種,カイエビ目4種,タマカイエビ目1種)で構成され,キタホウネンエビDrepanosurus uchidaiおよびタマカイエビLynceus biformisを除くすべての種が,大陸との共通種である。
