An optimization program for single point mooring floating production systems, which are currently employed for marginal offshore oil field, was developed. This program is applicable for typical six kinds of single point mooring systems, i.e., CALM-Yoke type, Turret Mooring type, SALM hawser type, Articulated Column-Yoke type, SALS type, and Tower Soft Yoke type.Type program contains detail analysis programs and simplified optimization program. The detail analysis programs are developed based on the up-to-data theory and are capable of performing dynamic and static analysis of mooring system and flexible riser, vibration and fatigue analysis of mooring chain, downtime analysis of floating production system and other analysis. These functions were verified by using model test results and full-scale test results. Some results are presented.The simplified optimization program was developed for preliminary evaluation of mooring system for a specific oil field. Using the detail analysis programs, a series of calculation was carried out and the results were compiled as built-in database, which contributes to shor-ter calculation time. By using this program, the optimized dimensions of mooring system will be derived from the input of water depth, environmental data, and storage capacity.

This study was conducted to clarify the relationship between features of change in velocity and performance of world class athletes in the men's 400-m hurdle race(400mH).Nine final races of 400mH were videotaped with several video cameras panning from the start to the finish at 60 fields/s.After the time indication had been superimposed on each field of the VTR images, the time at touchdown immediately after hurdling was obtained.Using the flash of the starter's gun recorded on the VTR image, each hurdle touchdown time from the start, and each section thme(from each hurdle to the next)was obtained.The results of regression analysis showed a significantly high correlation (r=0.90, p<0.001)between 400mH performance and mean section velocity from the 5th to the 8th hurdle(H5-8), and a significant correlation(r=-0.61, p<0.05)between 400mH performance and te rate of deceleration in H5-8.These results indicate that in 400mH it is important to avoid decreasing velocity and to maintain a high velocity in H5-8 of the race in order to attain a high performance.

筆者らは,擬人化の効果に着目し,対面コミュニケーション支援を目的として,ラップトップ PC の擬人化を提案してきた.本提案を実装した ”ProsopoLaptop” は,ラップトップ PC の天板にパブリックなディスプレイを付加し,顔を提示する.その表情は,ユーザのコンピュータの操作状態と,周囲の人や他のシステムの位置などの現実の環境情報を基に変化し,リアルタイムに状況に即した擬人化表現が可能となる.本稿では,本システムの実装,特に現実の環境情報の取得手法と,環境情報と擬人化の対応について示す.またコミュニケーション支援の観点から行なった実験的検討の結果について述べる.

The authors have developed a new automatic technique of drawing the master curve from the experimental data measured by the Dynamic Measurement Tester. In this paper, the experimental conditions recommended by Japanese Industrial Standards are considered and modified from the perspective of drawing the master curve. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed technique and the experimental conditions, the storage and loss moduli of epoxy resins and rubber materials are measured, and the proposed technique is applied to the experimental data. From the results, it is confirmed that the master curves are obtained automatically and expeditiously.

近年,化学療法および化学放射線療法の進歩により局所進行膵癌の治療成績は向上している.切除不能症例を対象とした臨床試験で生存期間中央値15ヶ月を超えるものも報告される.また,非切除治療が奏効し根治切除可能となった局所進行例も報告され,conversion therapyとしての役割も注目される.一方,局所進行膵癌に対する治療はエビデンスの乏しい領域であり,化学放射線療法の意義についても未だcontroversialである.今回,われわれは化学放射線療法82例(S-1併用56例,その他26例)の成績を供覧し,非切除治療の現状と意義について考察を行う.全82例の生存期間中央値15.4ヶ月,3年生存率17.5%,5年生存率6.7%と化学放射線療法のみでの長期生存例も経験された.さらなる成績向上のためには外科切除との連携に期待されるが,本稿ではわれわれの経験を供覧し,今後の展望について考察を行う.

機械学習においては,処理するデータ量,得られる精度,実行に要する時間の制約を満たす中で,逐次・並列分散の観点も含めたライブラリやアルゴリズム,パラメータの膨大な組み合わせの中から最適なものを選択することは困難であった.そこで,許容できる実行時間と入力データを与えるだけで最も高い精度を得ることを目的として,条件を変えながら何度も機械学習を実行することで最適な選択肢を自動的に選ぶプラットフォーム wizz を Apache Spark 上に構築した.wizz は並列処理向けの Apache Spark の MLlib と逐次実行向けの R スクリプトおよび R スクリプトの分散実行によるアンサンブル学習機能を提供しており,並列処理ライブラリと逐次処理ライブラリを同時に多数実行することができる.

辛味大根と青首大根の辛味臭成分をエーテル振とう抽出により分離し, GCおよびGC-MSにより分析し, 比較した.辛味大根の香気成分は99.5%以上が含硫化合物であり, 5種のメチルチオイソチオシアネートが主要成分として同定された.なかでも, (E) -4-メチルチオ-3-ブテニルイソチオシアネートは香気中96.5% (62.7mg%) を占め, かつこの化合物は1.3ppm以上あると単独でも生大根辛味臭を呈し, 濃度の増加につれ香辛性が強化される.実際の辛味大根中における存在量は627ppmであることから, 辛味大根の辛味臭は主としてこの物質であることが明らかとなった.

硫黄ガス環境での銀の腐食を管形容器および箱形容器を用いて検討した.単体硫黄から放出される硫黄ガスは,管形容器内の銀板および箱形容器内の腐食センサの銀電極と反応する.銀板の表面に形成された腐食生成物の厚さはカソード還元法により,銀電極の表面に形成された腐食生成物の厚さはレジストメトリにより測定した.暴露後に銀板および銀電極の表面に形成された腐食生成物を分析し,硫化物であることを確認した.単体硫黄から放出される硫黄ガス環境で銀の腐食速度を決定するのは硫黄ガスの拡散である.単体硫黄から放出される硫黄ガス環境での銀の腐食速度は,腐食反応を考慮した拡散ネットワークモデルを用いて推定される.硫黄ガスは,3×10-5の反応確率に対応する一定速度で銀と反応する.この推定技術は,電子装置の効果的な防食対策を検証し,装置信頼性を向上させるのに有効である.

In beach nourishment using gravel, the macadam gravel is used so that the sharp-pointed shape of gravel is of concerned. In this study, the change in the shape of gravels due to wave abrasion was investigated. Gravel samples were collected from the Jinkoji and Akashi coasts in Ibaraki Prefecture, where beach nourishment using coarse materials have been carried out since 2005, and grain size and roundness were measured. It was found that roundness of gravels with an initial value of 0.2 converged to 0.4-0.5 within four years and nine months. Due to the abrasion test of sampled gravels without steel bowls, the content of gravel was as high as 92% of all the volume after the rotation of 1200 times.
