まず,ヒトから計測可能な三種類の聴覚由来の生体反応を剣道の練習前後で測定した.その結果,DPOAEレベルは剣道の練習前後では有意な変化は見られなかった一方で,剣道の練習は,感覚細胞よりも脳の中枢により大きな影響を及ぼしていることが示唆された.また,FEM解析ソフトを用いて,面の打突部に打撃を与えたときの応力分布を解析した.その結果,打撃によって耳部よりも,頭頂部でのダメージが大きくなることが示唆された.

畳まれた長傘による歩行時のヒヤリハット事例が日本の行政機関からしばしば報告されているが,長傘の危険な持ち方に関する対策検討が少ない.代表的な危険な持ち方に,長傘を地面に対して水平に持つ横持ちが取り上げられる.その問題に対し,長傘の先端が地面に向かうように持つという持ち方の啓発活動が主な対策である.しかし,横持ち以外の持ち方の危険性や,危険な持ち方に至る人々の心理の探究が少ない.本稿では,2種類の長傘の持ち方調査と,調査結果に基づく3種類のプロトタイプを提案し,その使用感をヒアリングした.持ち方調査から長傘の先端をつけない持ち方を,あるいは周囲への迷惑がないと判断すると本人にとって楽な持ち方を優先する傾向が確認された.この知見に基づいて製作された各プロトタイプのヒアリングから,楽な持ち方に適したものが好まれる傾向があった.

宇宙航空研究開発機構では,次世代の再使用宇宙輸送システムの様々なコンセプトについて検討してきたが,その中の有望なものの一つとしてリフティングボディ形状の往還システムがある.これは翼をもたず,胴体の形状によって揚力を発生するタイプの機体であり,構造の軽量化,高い容積効率,極超音速域での空力加熱特性の観点から優位性があるとされている.一方,リフティングボディ形状は揚抗比が小さく,また低速時の安定性/ 制御性が弱いため,ALFLEX(小型自動着陸実験1996)のような翼胴型の機体に比較して滑走路への進入/ 着陸時に困難がある.そこで,リフティングボディ形状の往還システムを実現するうえで最も重要な技術課題の一つとなっている自動着陸技術の蓄積を主目的とした飛行実験を,小規模で低コストな機体を用いて行うことを計画した.本報告では,飛行実験計画および実験システムの概要と,地上試験やヘリコプタを用いた懸吊飛行試験を含む開発のプロセスについて詳述する.

我々は研究活動を行っている大学生の自己調整学習を,セルフモニタリングを使用して支援を行うことを目指している.自己調整学習に不慣れな大学生の特徴を明確化する為,17 名の学生を分析した.分析した学生の性格から,自己著製学習に不慣れな大学生のペルソナを 2 種類抽出し,研究活動におけるステップの仮説を構築した.構築した仮説から,学生に研究活動を促進するセルフモニタリングを促す,通知システムを構築した.通知方法は大学構内での滞在場所を基に通知を行い,セルフモニタリングさせるものである.大学生 4 名に対して 1 週間のユーザテストを行った.その結果,セルフモニタリングの回答結果から,”論文調査”などの準備段階の推定が示唆された.また,セルフモニタリングを行わせることで,研究にかかわる行動と研究を行う意識を促進することが示唆された.

本論文では,Web上の興味を刺激される情報を煩わしい操作なく取得可能な操作ユーザインタフェース,InfoSkinを提案する.簡易かつ容易な情報取得操作を実現するために,実世界でのウィンドウショッピングの行動メタファに着目した.本論文では,そのメタファに基づいて情報の取捨選択を容易に行える操作ユーザインタフェースを実現するための要件を定義し,その要件に沿ったシステムを設計・実装し,検証実験を行った.その結果,実装したシステムが既存の操作ユーザインタフェースと比較して興味が刺激され,情報の認識を向上させる効果があることを確認した.また,商用サービスなどへの適用を通して本ユーザインタフェースのシステムとしての汎用性の高さを確認した.In this paper, we propose "InfoSkin", an user interface that is able to simply and easily collect information on the web. In order to achieve such information retrieval, we focus on the behavior in the shoe store. We designed and implemented the user interface for content selection based on the metaphor, and validated the effective of our proposal. Evaluations show that our proposal makes users take a broad view of information and improves willing for viewing and inputting operations. Then we confirmed that the user interface was high general-purpose by applying business.

静電容量方式のマルチタッチスクリーンが取り付けられたタブレットが普及し,物理オブジェクトを用いたタブレット向けのアプリケーションが登場している.そこで,タブレット操作に物理オブジェクトを利用することを促すために,タブレット上で枠型物理オブジェクトをくるっと回して情報をみる操作方式 「くるみる」 を提案する.本方式では枠の内側からも画面を遮蔽なく閲覧できるので,枠の内側の画面を見ながら,物理オブジェクトの回転操作及び並進操作が容易に行える.回転操作を 3 次元空間の奥行き方向の操作に割り当て,枠の内側にその操作結果を拡大・縮小表示することで虫眼鏡のように使用できる.本稿では,枠型物理オブジェクトの中で,回転しやすく,握りやすいリング型物理オブジェクトに着目し,本方式の特徴,実装及び本方式の基本操作性を評価した結果を報告する.Tablets with capacitive multi-touch screens have increased and applications for tablets using physical objects have surfaced. To increase the use of physical objects to operate tablets, we propose Kuru-Miru which allows users to move and rotate a frame object to view digital information inside the frame object without obscuring the view of digital information in the screen. Rotation of the frame object acts as a magnifying glass and manipulates the depth in the image to mimic three dimensional space on a two dimensional surface. In this paper, we present our implementation of a easy to rotate and grasp ring object and report Kuru-Miru's features, implementation, and usability.

This paper introduces a case study intended for verifying, evaluating and improving technologies for a practical service; its process is analyzed using the design thinking approach. We develop and evaluate two technologies for disaster situations; a resilient information sharing platform and a mutual safety confirmation application on the platform. The case study includes a variety of verifications and evaluations such as a system work test in a disturbed public space, a larger scale system work test, and user acceptance evaluations that address both usability and psychological factors. The heart of our improvement process is it repeated back-step in the service design process for more efficient incremental advancement. We advance the field of technology research and service design research by providing guidelines for technology improvement and/or service design through the introduction and analysis of the practical case study.

The crocodilian caudal vertebra is obtained from the Tsubusagawa Formation. Its size is same and its gross shape is resemblance to the 20th caudal vertebra of Crocodylus porosus, NTM R16036, total length for 513 cm. However, in comparison with NTM R16036, the direction of neural spine is more dorsocaudal, and the M. longissimus caudae and M. semispinalis caudae might be more developed in the Tsubusagawa specimen. With respects to the hitherto regarding crocodilian fauna, the Tsubusagawa specimen is identified to the crocodyline crocodylid, Toyotamaphimeia machikanensis. The caudal vertebrae are preserved only three, 1st to 3rd , in the type specimen of T. machikanense, and thus direct comparison with the Tsubusagawa specimen is impossible. According to Chinese classic dictionary by Lu (1174, the 12th Century), the tail of crocodile which may be identified as T. machikanensis is prehensile as if elephant trunk. The posterior condyle of this vertebra is well developed, and thus there is some possibility to support the evidence of prehensile tail. At the early Miocene, T. machikanensis might be derived from crocodyline crocodylid Maomingosuchus petrolicus. T. machikanensis is differ from Maomingosuchus petrolicus in having the largest 7th maxillary teeth and much larger body. The large canini-form development of 7th maxillary teeth is an adaptation for the relatively larger prey. As a larger prey, the presence of oxygasterine cyprinid Hypophthalmichthys (Silver Asian Carp), total length for 1 metre or more, is seemed to be involved with the secondary caniniform development of 7th maxillary teeth and gigantism of Toyotamaphimeia. The oldest fossil record of Toyotamaphimeia is the early Miocene and that of Hypophthalmichthys is too. Hypophthalmichthys is famous for its frequently jumping when disturbed. Although this jumping is hitherto claimed as enigmatic, it could be interpreted as anti-predatory behavior against Toyotamaphimeia.

Biosimilars are less expensive than their originators, and Japanese government policies call for their development and promotion. However, the adoption and prescription of some biosimilars, especially antibody/its-related ones, have been delayed for use in Japan, possibly due to concerns on the differences in quality attributes such as glycan structures between the originators and their biosimilars, and that clinical efficacy/safety studies are conducted for usually one disease and its results extrapolated to other indications. We conducted a questionnaire survey among physicians in four disease areas (hematology, medical oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease), where biosimilars of antibody/its-related drugs have been approved, regarding their thoughts on the adoption and prescription of biosimilars in Japan from January to April 2020. We received totally 1024 responses. When adopting biosimilars and explaining them to patients, physicians requested specific information including the comparative results of phase III clinical trials and quality characteristics between biosimilars and their originators; the results of clinical studies on switching from originators to their biosimilars; and a comparison of the estimated cost on patients in consideration of the high medical cost payment system. Priority differed depending on the studied disease areas. In terms of post-marketing information, physicians requested a variety of information. When explaining biosimilars to the patients, physicians would like to use general material from government describing the comparability between originators and their biosimilars. These results suggest that physicians sought more comparative information on the quality, efficacy, and patients' cost between originators and their biosimilars when adopting or prescribing biosimilars.

本研究では, Web 上の欲しい情報を簡易かつ容易に取得可能なユーザインタフェース, InfoSkin を提案する.手軽な情報取得を実現するために実世界でのウィンドウショッピングの行動メタファに着目した.本研究では,そのメタファに基づいて情報の取捨選択を容易に行えるユーザインタフェースを設計・実装し,検証実験を行った.その結果,提案方式が既存のユーザインタフェースと比較して情報に対する興味・認識を向上させる効果があるとともに,ユーザビリティに優れていることを示した.

災害から身の安全を確保できた後,避難者が必要としたのは災害に関する情報を得ることであった.しかし,インターネットが繋がらず,スマートフォンなどから情報を得ることが困難であった.そこで我々は,災害時にインターネットが繋がらない状況においても,周囲にいる人同士と災害関連情報を公衆無線LANとブラウザで共有可能な端末間連携技術を提案する.公衆無線LANを用いて検証した結果,インターネットの接続可否によらず,さらに専用アプリのインストールなしに情報流通が実現可能なことを示した.

筆者らは,災害時にインターネットがつながらない状況でも,離れた避難所間で人の移動を媒介として情報を伝達する 「レジリエント情報流通プラットフォーム」 を構築し,この上で動作する安否確認アプリケーションを開発してきた.東日本大震災の被災経験者を対象に,この安否確認アプリの受容性調査を実施した結果,個人情報の自動入力や自動送信には心理抵抗を感じる被験者がいるものの,利用したいか否かについては一定の肯定的な回答が得られ,安否確認サービスの潜在的な需要を確認できた.We have already developed the information sharing platform that enables to share information among remote locations even if the Internet is disconnected under disaster situation. Afield test was conducted to evaluate the potential of a safety confirmation application which works on the platform. We confirmed the user acceptance of such a safety confirmation service although psychological factors in registering personal information should be considered.
