The compatibility of SiC fibers with aluminum was investigated. The SiC fibers made from an organosilicon polymer was used in the present study. The fiber specimens were aluminum-coated by vacuum evaporation and heat treated at temperatures 673 to 873 K for 90 ks, or 973 to 1373 K for 1.8 ks in an argon atmosphere. Then, the fiber specimens were tensile tested at room temperature.For the solid state aluminum, the SiC fibers showed no loss in tensile strength after the heat treatments at 673 to 773 K, but showed a slight degradation in tensile strength after the heat treatment at 873 K. For the liquid state aluminum, the SiC fibers showed a noticeable degradation in tensile strength after the heat treatments at temperatures higher than 973 K. However, the degradation in tensile strength was decreased in the solid and the liquid state by alloying Si with aluminum.

There were 151 kinds of Chinese calligraphy rubbings, totally 3797 volumes, being imported to Japan in Edo period. But all these rubbings could not be considered to be authentic works, and some of them couldn't be distinguished if they were authentic works or not. In that case, how about the condition of those counterfeited rubbings which were imported to Japan? In this paper, I will focus on these counterfeited rubbings of being imported to Japan, then explored the condition of it and the influence to the area of calligraphy of Japan.

Background:Acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF) is often accompanied by liver congestion through increased right atrial pressure (RAP). Liver stiffness (LS) assessed non-invasively using transient elastography is related to increased RAP and liver congestion in patients with general HF. We investigated the relationship of LS with clinical and echocardiographic variables and outcomes in patients with ADHF.Methods and Results:The subjects were 105 patients with ADHF admitted to hospital between October 2016 and June 2017. Patients were divided into 2 groups based on median LS at admission (low LS <8.8 kPa [n=52] vs. high LS ≥8.8 kPa [n=53]). Death from cardiovascular disease and readmission for HF were primary endpoints. Total bilirubin and γ-glutamyl transpeptidase levels, MELD-XI score, diameters of the inferior vena cava and right ventricle, and severity of tricuspid regurgitation were greater in the high LS group (all P<0.05). During a median (interquartile range) follow-up period of 153 (83–231) days, cardiac events occurred in 29 patients (54%) in the high LS group and in 13 (25%) in the low LS group (P=0.001). After adjusting for variables that influence organ congestion, a high LS ≥8.8 kPa was still significantly associated with cardiac events (all P<0.05).Conclusions:Increased LS measured by transient elastography reflects RAP elevation, hepatic congestion, and hepatic dysfunction. LS upon admission may be a useful prognostic marker in patients with ADHF.

2024年の森林環境税導入に先駆け,2019年度から森林環境譲与税の自治体に対する交付が開始される。国と市町村が主軸となる森林環境譲与税だが,実際には都道府県にも影響を及ぼす。第一に,森林環境譲与税は都道府県にも配分され,市町村の支援を促すよう制度設計されている。第二に,森林等の保全を目的とした37の府県の既存の超過課税との関係性が問われる。そこで本研究では,37府県を対象とし,質問票および聞き取り調査の結果を基に,森林環境譲与税導入の影響を分析する。特に導入前後での市町村への支援政策と組織形態の変化に着眼した。結果,市町村支援に関しては,「森林所有者の意向調査の支援」等に重点が置かれ,組織的な変化については,環境譲与税(と関連する経営管理制度等)の名目で担当者を増加させた府県が5割程度存在した。既存組織の名称の変更や,環境譲与税担当部署の新設も把握された。また,1県では条例レベルで県・環境税の使途の中身を改定していた。

認知行動療法をより効果的に提供するためには、セラピストを対象とした同盟の質の向上を促す訓練が必要である。そこで本研究では、同盟の質の向上に重要だと考えられる訓練要素から構成される訓練プログラムを作成し、その効果検証と、よりよい訓練プログラムを作成するための情報を得ることを目的としたパイロットスタディを実施した。その結果、同盟の質の向上についての訓練効果はわずかであったが、同盟の質の改善のためのスキルを用いる自信を高めることができた。今後は、同盟の質を評価する方法を改善し、基礎的な治療関係スキルの訓練と困難事例を対象に治療関係スキルを用いるための2つのステップから訓練を構成する必要性があることが明らかとなった。

The aim of this study is to present a model for urban housing by investigating the dwelling style in which various facilities for daily living are linked; we did so based on an investigation of the residential use of GOSIWON(Quasi-housing) in Seoul. We attempted to clarify the current distribution of GOSIWON in Seoul, the living conditions in GOSIWON, and their locational characteristics in GOSIWON-dense areas. First, we intended to confirm the changes in the distribution of GOSIWON in Seoul. Second, we classified the scale of GOSIWON in Seoul. Third, we examined the type and distribution of GOSIWON in GOSIWON-dense areas with respect to regional characteristics. We undertook the following steps. (1) Using data related to GOSIWON by Seoul Metropolitan Fire & Disaster Headquarters, we confirmed the overall situation regarding GOSIWON in Seoul since 2010 to 2015. (2) To determine the scale of GOSIWON there, we analyzed the registration information of buildings containing GOSIWON. We categorized the type of GOSIWON by comparing the total floor area of the building (data obtained from ledgers) with the area of the GOSIWON. (3) To assess the characteristics of GOSIWON-dense areas in Seoul, we used a list of GOSIWON and created a distribution map. With that, we were able to confirm the location of GOSIWON-dense areas. We clarified the characteristics of such areas by comparing the distribution and the type of GOSIWON from step 2. The number of GOSIWON in Seoul increased more than 1.5 times over a 5-year period starting in 2010. There was an increasing trend in all 25 districts of Seoul; however, the concentration in Gwanak-gu, Dongjak-gu, Gangnam-gu, Dongdaemun-gu, Seodaemun-gu, and Yeongdeungpo-gu was particularly conspicuous. The situation was similar in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, but there were large-scale GOSIWON in Noryangjin-dong, Dongjak-gu. We also confirmed that there were more facilities dedicated exclusively to GOSIWON in Noryangjin-dong than in other areas. In Sillim-dong, which has the largest number of GOSIWON, facilities with GOSIWON of the same size were widely distributed. In Noryangjin-dong, facilities for exclusive use of GOSIWON of various sizes and combined facilities were densely distributed in a relatively small area. By contrast, Yeoksam-dong and other areas were unlike Sillim and Noryangjin-dong in that a relatively small number of large GOSIWON were broadly distributed. In GOSIWON-dense areas, there were no significant differences in the private space in GOSIWON, but there were differences in the shared spaces within GOSIWON. Notably, in Noryangjin-dong, there were many GOSISAENG (examinee of public employee examination); they had study spaces in addition to common areas, such as a kitchens and toilets. We next intend to examine the actual use of regional facilities related to daily life. Our aim is to clarify the use of GOSIWON by residents of GOSIWON-dense areas.

A novel monocyclic β-lactam antibiotic SQ 26, 180 has been isolated from bacteria and the structure, (R)-3-acetylamino-3-methoxy-2-oxo-1-azetidinesulfonic acid was deduced from its spectroscopic properties. Structural confirmation and assignment of absolute configuration were made by synthesis from 6-aminopenicillanic acid.
