Lee(1977)は恋愛の色彩理論を提唱し, 松井ら(1990)はそれに基づいた恋愛傾向測定尺度の日本語版を作成しているが, 本研究では, より簡便で回答しやすい尺度の作成を試み, その妥当性および信頼性を検討するとともに, 他の特性などとの関連性や, 男女や恋人の有無によって, どのような恋愛傾向の違いがみられるかを調べることを目的とした。大学生および専門学校生466名(男子247名, 女子217名, 不明2名)を対象に, この尺度を含む質問紙調査を実施し, 分析を行ったところ, 尺度には充分な妥当性や信頼性は認められなかったが, さまざまな恋愛傾向を測定しうるものであることが確認された。また, ストルゲを除く尺度は協調的なパーソナリティ特性との問に有意な相関関係がみられた。さらに, 恋愛傾向の男女差や恋人の有無による差を調べたところ, 男子はアガペ(献身的な愛)やエロス(耽美的な愛)が高いのに対し, 女子はプラグマ(実利的な愛)が高く, また, 恋人がいる群はストルゲ(友愛的な愛)が低く, 恋人がいない群ではマニアとエロスが低く, 片想い群ではアガペが高いなどの結果が得られた。

図書館本来の機能,つまりミッションは,民主主義社会の国民・住民の「自立支援」を「知的インフラ」という側面で支えることである。真の民主主義社会の実現には,政府と国民との間でできるだけ広範な情報共有が必要であると同時に,政府が発信する情報だけでなく,いわば「対抗軸」ともいうべき客観的資料や政府案への問題点を論じた資料など,バランスの取れた情報環境が必要である。また,重要な政策決定を審議する際,失敗事例,諸外国事情を含め,基礎となる資料や情報は不可欠である。それらの情報環境を担うのが図書館であり,図書館のミッションといえる。そして,それらの情報へのアクセスを的確に行うのが司書の役割である。

近年,清涼飲料水による歯の脱灰作用に関し種々の報告がある。そこで,今回清涼飲料水による脱灰作用を検討した。1)清涼飲料水は炭酸飲料A,炭酸飲料B,乳酸菌飲料,スポーツドリンク,ウーロン茶の5種を選択しpHを測定した。ウーロン茶の6.03を除き他の飲料は2.48から3.46と強い酸性を示した。2)交換期のため脱落したウ蝕の無い乳歯を清涼飲料水に浸潰し,経時的に観察した。歯の一部はロウで覆い,同部を同一歯の対照とした。1日後は炭酸飲料A,Bでエナメル質に白濁を生じ,3日後にはウーロン茶を除いた飲料水においてエナメル質全体が白濁した。これらは7日後にはエナメル質は脱灰し,象牙質が露出した。ウーロン茶は10日間経週後もエナメル質に変化はなかった。3)走査電子顕微鏡にて歯の表面を観察した。ウーロン茶を除いた飲料ではエナメル質が消失し,象牙質が露出し,その表面は疎造であった。ロウで覆った部分はエナメル質が残存し,ロウで覆われていない部との移行部はエナメル質の断面が明瞭に確認された。本実験の浸漬潰時間と通常の飲用では飲料水が歯に接蝕する時間は異なる。しかし,乳幼児期に哺乳瓶でこれらの清涼飲料水を頻回に摂取すると歯の脱灰を生じることが推測される。従って,乳幼死期に哺乳瓶でのこれらの清涼飲料水の投与には注意を要する。

血液型性格関連説は日本で人気のある疑似性格理論の1つで,1920年代の古川竹二の仮説に由来する。現在では多くの提唱者がこの仮説を様々に解釈している。したがってこの説には多様性がある。本研究では,最近の「血液型ブーム」においてTV放送された説を伝統的説明,生物学的媒介,枠組利用,剰余特性付加の4つの型に分類した。伝統的説明型は古川の仮説の後継である。生物学的媒介型は,血液型と性格の関係を進化論や脳科学などの新しい学術的知識を用いて説明する。枠組利用型は単に占いに用いている。剰余特性付加型は提唱者の専門分野で見出された特性を追加した程度である。すべての提唱者の説は論理的妥当性をもたない。

Through the study on quality theory in the literatures of philosophy, quality control, the study of merchandise and so on, we made clear that there are two aspects of quality such as subjective and objective ones and that it is necessary to investigate the correspondence of these two aspects. Then, for this purpose, we propose that two dimensional recognition should replace one-dimensional one which has been so far prevailing, and that this recognition of the correspondence is utilized for categorizing quality elements of a product into attractive, nust-be, one-dimensional quality ones and so on.Then the practical validity of this theory is examined through the questionnaire survey about the TV set and the table clock to consumers and it is investigated how each quality element of these items is evaluated under the theory. Moreover, an example of new clock planning with applying this theory is discussed in order to show the practical effetiveness of this theory.

Successful reprogramming of differentiated human somatic cells into a pluripotent state would allow creation of patient- and disease-specific stem cells. We previously reported generation of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells, capable of germline transmission, from mouse somatic cells by transduction of four defined transcription factors. Here, we demonstrate the generation of iPS cells from adult human dermal fibroblasts with the same four factors: Oct3/4, Sox2, Klf4, and c-Myc. Human iPS cells were similar to human embryonic stem (ES) cells in morphology, proliferation, surface antigens, gene expression, epigenetic status of pluripotent cell-specific genes, and telomerase activity. Furthermore, these cells could differentiate into cell types of the three germ layers in vitro and in teratomas. These findings demonstrate that iPS cells can be generated from adult human fibroblasts.

アルカン分子の中心を定義し,それに結合するアルキル基の組合せの仕方を数え上げることにより,アルカンの構造異性体数の数についての漸化式を求めた。炭素原子数が40までの結果は,グラフ理論によって得られている数値と一致することを確認した。この方法は初等的な組合せ論の積み重ねによるものなので,その演算速度はグラフ理論的方法よりは格段に遅いことがわかった。
