フェイクニュースや炎上,エコチェンバー現象など,近年は個人による情報発信における負の側面が注目されている.しかし,近年のソーシャルメディア上の情報拡散は大規模かつ複雑な現象となっており,人間が全体像を直観的に理解することが難しい. そこで本稿では,ソーシャルメディア上の情報拡散を直観的に理解可能な形で可視化する手法を提案する.具体的には、ソーシャルメディア上の社会ネットワークにクラスタリングを再帰的に適用し,コミュニティの階層構造を構築する.これらの階層構造を用いて,情報拡散を可視化する.階層構造を用いることで,複雑な現象をより単純な構造へ変換し,それにより人間の直観的な理解を促す.提案手法を実際のTwtiter上の大規模情報拡散事例に適用し,妥当な可視化結果が得られることを確認した.

本論文ではテキスト媒体として決算短信と会社四季報に着目し,それらの媒体から共通のテキストマイニング手法で投資情報を抽出することで,両媒体のテキスト情報の特性を比較してその投資情報としての価値を評価した.その結果,両媒体は企業の業績情報を示す類似のテキスト情報ではあるが,含まれている情報は異なっており,投資情報としても異なる効果を持つことが分かった.また両媒体のテキスト情報から抽出された投資情報は,既存の投資戦略とは異なる高い有効性を持ち,特に両媒体に含まれる数値情報の効果を除いても有効性が高い,つまりテキスト情報そのものに投資価値が含まれていることが分かった.これらの効果はサイズ,業種の要因を調整し,売買コストを考慮したものであり,本論文の分析で決算短信,会社四季報から抽出した投資情報は新しい超過収益の源泉になりえることが分かった.

本研究の目的は,現代タイ社会における若者の精霊信仰にメディアが及ぼす影響を明らかにすることである。筆者は,2016年9月に,タイの若者の精霊信仰に対する考えかたを調査するために,タイ・バンコクの大学生を対象にアンケート調査をおこなった。 本論文は,この調査の結果および2015年の調査を元に,タイの若者の信仰と,それに対するメディアの影響に焦点をあてて考察する。本論文は,その調査の中で特に,マスメディアと精霊信仰の役割についての質問項目をとりあげ分析考察をめざすものである。また,2015年の調査と比較し,その意識変化を探りたい。調査の結果,タイの若者の多くは,テレビドラマやテレビ番組,映画から精霊に関するイメージや情報を得ていることが明らかになった。そして,若者がイメージする男性精霊は特定のものに集中しているが,イメージされる女性精霊は多様であることがわかる。さらに,現代タイ社会において女性の精霊は男性の精霊より怖いイメージで,男性の精霊は女性の精霊よりも優しいイメージで捉えられている。なお,2015年と翌年の調査結果を比較した結果,ほとんど違いは見られないが,特定の精霊はテレビなどのメディアに出演することによって,より一層イメージされやすくなる傾向にあることが明らかになった。このような研究結果により,タイの若者は,テレビや映画などのメディアに表象される精霊イメージの影響を受けていると考えられる。

目的:歯周病は歯周病細菌により引き起こされる炎症性疾患であり,発症により唾液中の酸化ストレスマーカーが上昇,治療により減少することから,活性酸素が関与する疾患の一つと考えられている.本研究では,軽度から中等度の歯周病を有するボランティアを対象に,ユビキノール(還元型コエンザイムQ10)の摂取が歯周組織の臨床症状,口臭,唾液の抗酸化能に及ぼす効果を検討することを目的とした.材料と方法:被験者を2群に割り付け,実験群には還元型コエンザイムQ10(50mg)を含むサプリメントを,対照群にはプラセボを毎食後摂取させ,4,8週後に口腔内診査,口臭検査および唾液の採取を行った.成績:投与前後での臨床症状では,実験群でプラークの付着程度およびプロービング時の出血点の割合,対照群でプロービング時の出血点の割合に有意な低下が認められた.抗酸化能は,実験群ではやや増加したが,対照群では有意な低下がみられた.口臭の評価では,実験群で低下する傾向がみられた.結論:本結果から,還元型コエンザイムQ10の服用は歯周病による口腔内の症状改善に有用である可能性が示唆された.

偶然の遊びにおいて,制御幻想として知られる,関与することで確率をある程度制御できると思い込む認知錯覚がある.最近の研究では,遊技者は確率は変わらないことを知りつつも制御幻想を引き起こす要因によって熱中度が向上することが示唆されている.しかし既存の研究は統制された実験であり,実際的な自由に遊べる環境で遊技者はどのように制御幻想の要因を楽しんでいるかは調べられていない.そこで本研究では抽選(ガチャ)を題材としたカードゲームと抽選アプリを用いて,制御幻想に関連する行為を遊技者がどのように行ったかを調査した.その結果,抽選間への期待感が高まる状況ほど操作量が増え,特殊な操作を行う傾向が確認できた.また,特殊な操作を他のプレイヤに見せたり模倣するといったコミュニケーションの存在が観察された.

人造硝石作りの第一工程である硝酸塩の製造は堆肥作りと全く同じであり、世界中で硝酸塩の存在は長い農業の経験の中から培われた知識で皆が知っていたと思われる。第二工程である灰汁煮によって硝酸塩から硝酸カリウムを抽出するのは予想以上に難しいことが分かった。硝酸カリウムを精製するにはカリウムを含んだ大量の木灰が必要だということが明らかになった。人造硝石は農業と密接な関係があるとの結論を得た。

要旨: 五官 (視覚, 聴覚, 味覚, 嗅覚, 触覚) の中で, 聴覚器は空気の疎密波などの機械的振動を捉える器官である。 ヒトはこれを音として感じ取っている。 従って, この音を感じ取る感覚細胞のメカニクスも実にメカニカルである。 また, 我々の聴覚は非常に感度がよいが, これは2種類の感覚細胞, すなわち内有毛細胞と外有毛細胞がコルチ器の中で相互に協調することにより実現している。 本総説では, これまでの多くの研究者の研究成果を踏まえ, まず有毛細胞の構造について概説し, 次に内有毛細胞における音受容メカニズムについて説明する。 さらに, 内有毛細胞と外有毛細胞がいかに協調し合っているかについて講述する。

はじめに 1994(平成6)年の地域保健法の施行後,市・特別区の保健所は設置数,組織体制,業務内容などの面で大きく変貌してきた.都道府県,政令指定都市,特別区の保健所は同法の施行から統合が進み,大幅に減少している,一方,中核市保健所は,中核市制度の発足と,その設置基準の緩和による中核市の増加に伴い,増加している. 市・特別区の保健所は,自治体ごとに組織は多様であるが,①保健所固有の感染症業務,②食品,医事薬事などの生活衛生関連業務,③市町村業務である保健サービスの母子保健や予防接種,特定保健指導,高齢者保健対策,健康づくり対策などを同一の自治体内で実施できることと,福祉や教育などの市の部局と連携して上記への対策ができることが大きな強みとなっている.広域的ないし重大な感染症や食中毒などの健康危機の発生時には,国や県との綿密な連携が必要である. 保健所の全体数は,ピーク時の1991(平成3)年度の852カ所から2017(平成29)年度の418カ所となり,ほぼ半減した(表1)1).特に県型保健所の多くが二次医療圏ごとに1カ所に集約され,政令指定都市および特別区の保健所も統合によって大きく減少している. 1989(平成元)年当時,10の政令指定都市では行政区に1つずつ保健所があったが,その後,福岡市と名古屋市を除いて1市・1保健所となった.1997(平成9)年度に札幌市で9→1,広島市で8→1,北九州市で7→1となり,1998(平成10)年度には神戸市で9→1に,2000(平成12)年度には大阪市で24→1カ所に順次統合された. 人口が360万人を超える横浜市も,2007(平成19)年度に,それまで18あった保健所が1カ所となった.2010(平成22)年度には京都市で11→1に,2015(平成27)年度には仙台市で5→1に,2016(平成28)年度には川崎市で7→1カ所に統合された.1992(平成4)年度に政令指定都市に移行した千葉市を皮切りにして政令指定都市に移行した市は1市・1保健所体制である. 現在,政令指定都市で複数の保健所を設置しているのは,福岡市の7カ所,名古屋市の16カ所である.東京都の特別区は,地域保健法の施行前から荒川区と渋谷区が1カ所であったのを除き,各特別区に戦前の行政区ごとに2〜4カ所の保健所があったが,1997(平成9)〜2002(同14)年度に順次,1区・1保健所に集約され,元の保健所は保健センター(福祉部門や子育て部門との統合が行われるなど,機能がさまざまで,名称も保健相談所,健康福祉センター,保健福祉センター,健康サポートセンターなどがある)となった. 一方,中核市制度が1995(平成7)年に発足し,また,その法定人口が30万以上から20万人以上とされるなど,その設置基準が緩和されたため,保健所の設置市は増加してきた.その他の政令市の設置保健所は中核市への移行で減少している.

CO2 included in exhaled breath is often used as a tracer gas when estimation of ventilation aspect in buildings with occupants is performed. In Japan, CO2 production rate written in JIS A 14061974, which revised in 1974, has been referred for the estimation. The CO2 production rate calculation formula given by ASTM D6245-12 can be referred also, however, the formula is based on westerner adult data. Hence, based on Japanese subjects' exhaled breath data obtained by using Douglas bag method with approximately total 170 points, equations for recent Japanese CO2 production rate are developed in this study. Moreover, an equation, whose variables are occupants' height & weight, gender, age and Met, is used for estimating ventilation aspects in single zone with occupants aiming at accuracy testing. Firstly, a simple equation (9) is derived with regression analysis using 23 subjects and 3 testing activities data. The equation requires AD (Japanese body surface area given by equation (6)) Met and CG (coefficient of gender as male: 1 and female: 0). Secondly, aiming at expanding the targets, equation (9) is transformed and verified by using additional testing whose conditions are shown in Table7 and 8. The obtained 20s males' exhaled breath data is used to derive the equation (10) whose coefficient of deamination is larger than the equation (9) shown in Fig. 4. Then, the equation (10) is added a variable Ca (coefficient of age given by table9) and is transformed into the equation (11) whose coefficient of deamination is larger than the equation (9) shown in Fig. 5. Also, the equation (10) is added a variable Cg (coefficient of gender male: 1.0 and female: 0.73 determined by Table9) and is transformed into equation (12) whose coefficient of deamination is larger than the equation (9) shown in Fig. 6. As a result, the equation (13) is derived and its coefficient of deamination is larger than the equation (9) shown in Fig. 7. With substituting CO2 production rate given by the equation (13), ASTM and JIS, into the equation (14), calculated CO2 concentration are compared to the measured value obtained in single zones with the conditions shown in Table11 with employing testing instruments shown in Table10. The experimental results are shown in Fig. 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14. From the experimental results, calculated CO2 concentration of present work shows the closest to the measured value compared with the other standards’ value. Therefore, these results can allow estimating more correct ventilation aspects with Japanese occupants.

Christopher Nolan is a master of puzzling narrative films including Memento, The Dark Knight, and Interstellar, among his many other blockbusters. In 2017, he released Dunkirk, his first war film, which he defines as a survival story. This article examines the film’s complicated narrative, with special focus on Mr. Dawson as a key person. It also analyzes the film’s kinesthetically affective style, to pin down its stylistic and aesthetic qualities and explore their possible function of establishing the audience’s reception of memories of the historical evacuation of Dunkirk in the early days of the Second World War. The world of Dunkirk can be broken into three areas, the land (which is in fact “the mole”), the sea, and the sky. Each of them, however, has a different time span, one week, one day, and one hour, respectively. They intertwine alternately to compose the whole puzzling sequence. This hectic time scheme is one of the most idiosyncratic features of Dunkirk, preventing the chronological flow of the story, and demanding the audience’s repeated viewing for understanding. From a narratological viewpoint, Nolan’s Dunkirk can be said to have a touch of “puzzle films”, as exemplified by Warren Buckland, with its contingencies and deceptions brought by frantic but strategic cuts in the film. If what happens on Dawson’s boat is rearranged chronologically with some twists in the film sorted out, the symbolic meaning of his existence will emerge as a hub to hold the whole narrative of Dunkirk. His emblematic predominance is aptly and necessarily contrived because the original historical facts of Dunkirk are mainly related to the miracle of “little boats”. Among the main characters in the film, only Dawson is given background information, especially that his eldest son died serving as an RAF pilot, and his discernment is delineated as influenced by the aftermath of the Great War. Dawson is assigned to function as a hinge to link two generations together, as well as to unify the people contingently meeting in Dunkirk. As for its aesthetic style, there are three aspects of note in Dunkirk. First, its depiction of explosion and firefight is sometimes so excessive that vibrations are felt in the theater seats. Its effect is greatly enhanced by the IMAX projecting system, which Nolan strongly recommends. With its spectacular stimulation, Dunkirk offers genuinely sensual or physical sensation and shock for pleasure, in which case the audience is exempted from moral impropriety in appreciating the expression of violence. Nolan’s Dunkirk is greatly dependent on this kind of kinesthetic pleasure, traced in the early cinema of attractions and explained originally by Tom Gunning. The near absence of German soldiers as the second stylistic feature of Dunkirk is effective in suppressing inappropriate excitement and agitation on the side of the audience. The ethical conundrum for the audience, usually brought about by the dichotomy of “friend or foe” or “us or them” in the framework of a war story, is prevented mainly with actual German soldiers being obscured in Dunkirk. The third feature is concerned with the beauty and cleanliness predominant throughout the whole story of Dunkirk . The soldiers fatally shot just fall down without much bloodshed and their dying process is not depicted in detail. This is completely different from depictions in Saving Private Ryan and The Thin Red Line. Especially in Saving Private Ryan the brutally wounded soldiers have their intestines exposed or their arms and legs mutilated. The body of the audience and that of wounded soldiers in the films are closely linked in the sense that they are so vulnerable to violence and brutality of war. The excessive aesthetic quality in Dunkirk, however, has the effect of covering up the crude essence of war inflicting brutal damage to the human body. This kind of concealment or suppression is relevant to the aestheticization of war that could be politically abused, dependent on the situation. This seems to be the only crucial moral hazard potentially contained in Dunkirk. Since the 50’s, the film industry has seriously declined in the United Kingdom. A spectacle film featuring Dunkirk evacuation would be impossible without financing from an American film company which trusts Nolan’s potential for making successful films. This background may have certain influence on the content and style of the film, which was intended to be received by as large an audience as possible. In addition to those stylistic features mentioned above, another characteristic should be referred to as an effective factor for making the film agreeable. The mode of narration in Dunkirk is not thrusting, far less thrusting than in Saving Private Ryan and The Thin Red Line, at least. The historical story of cooperation by English people may be amazing, but the message from the story is open to interpretation and acceptance on the side of the audience. Viewed in an IMAX theater, Dunkirk will provide its full kinesthetic and aesthetic impact to the audience. On tablets and other small devices, however, it will tell another story, which is enclosed in its complicated and intense narrative-- the story of a father who tries to save as many young soldiers as possible, feeling deeply remorseful for his generation starting the war and his own son getting killed in it.

46才の男. 33才ころより発熱,右下肋痛,黄疸の典型的な胆石発作をくり返えし,内科的な治療により一時軽快していた.約2年前より発作が頻発するようになつた.腹腔鏡と肝生検で肝硬変を発見,炎症症状も残存するためゾンデ療法を主とした内科的治療を行なつたが軽快しなかつた.食餌脂肪源としてトリオクタノインを33%に含有する粉末(以下MCT末と略)を1日120G与えたところ,体重が46.5kgから4カ月目には53.5kgと著明に増加した.胆石発作も3力月間は全く発生せず,その後1カ月に1~3回の発作が見られたが, MCT末投与前に比してその頻度は少なかつた.血清アルカリフォスファターゼ値もMCT末投与7カ月目から正常範囲になつた.この時点で再度腹腔鏡検査を行なつたところ肝硬変は前回とほゞ変らず,同時に行なつた直接胆のう造影により総胆管結石を確認し,その摘出に成功した.

在宅栄養管理においては、高齢者の体液についての特徴を理解して適切な体液状態の評価が望まれる。特に、高齢者では脱水症を呈しやすいために、早期に脱水症が診断され迅速かつ適切な対応が求められる。体液状態をみるにあたり、採血や器具を用いた診断は在宅管理には適していないためにフィジカルアセスメントによる診断が望まれる。アセスメント項目としては、触診による四肢末梢の冷感、口腔内の乾燥、爪毛細血管の再充血時間の遅延、皮膚の張り (ツルゴール) の低下、腋窩の乾燥などが高齢者における脱水症の所見として知られている。在宅栄養管理の担当者は、これらの所見を定期的に観察し在宅栄養管理の質の向上を目指して欲しい。
