我々は以前の論文[15]で多値議論の論理LMAを形式化した.これは知識表現言語として、拡張注釈付き論理型言語EALPを用い、不確実情報下におけるエージェント間議論を可能にするものであった.本論文では、このLMAを東洋論理を特徴づけるテトラレンマ(四句分別)に特殊化することを考える.そしてその表現能力や応用可能性を確認する.このために、LMAを、次のような東洋的、文化的な議論に適用する : 死刑制度の是非に関する多値議論、西洋と東洋の多元的な議論.これらを通して、西洋的あるいは東洋的議論の融合、表象をもたない議論の可能性について論じる.

Community pharmacies in Japan have long been advocated as effective sources of nonprescription medicines and health-related advice. Consumers sometimes self-treat symptoms of minor illnesses without consulting a pharmacist because the benefits of such consultations are not adequately recognized. The aim of this study was to investigate the use and impact of pharmacist consultations before purchase of nonprescription laxatives. An online survey was conducted July 14–22, 2012 with 500 respondents (250 men, 250 women), ranging 20–60 years old. All participants had purchased nonprescription laxatives for constipation within the past year. Stratified analysis was used to compare responses in groups that had and had not consulted a pharmacist before purchase. Consulting a pharmacist appears to improve consumers’ awareness and makes them more likely to use appropriate medication. Those who consulted a pharmacist were better able to identify side effects and take appropriate action than the group that did not consult the pharmacist. Those who consulted a pharmacist were also significantly more likely to say that they would consult a pharmacist in the future. These results indicate that it is important for consumers to be able to consult with pharmacists, to improve consumers’ awareness of side effects and to self-medicate appropriately, and hence improve their quality of life. Pharmacists in community pharmacy could be more active in health promotion campaigns, such as drug safety, campaigns, to raise their public profile. Increased public awareness of what pharmacists in community pharmacy do will make it easier for patients to consult with them.

Lilium auratum var. auratum Lindl. is distributed in the eastern part of Honshu, the main island of Japan. L. auratum var. platyphyllum Baker is endemic to the Izu archipelago, which consists of nine large islands located in south of Honshu’s Izu peninsula. Both varieties have been used as important parents of Oriental hybrid lily cultivars. They have large white flowers with yellow central stripes and colored spots on their tepals. L. auratum var. platyphyllum has larger flowers and wider leaves than L. auratum var. auratum. L. auratum var. platyphyllum has yellow spots, whereas L. auratum var. auratum has red or brown ones. Natural hybridization between these two taxa has been suggested on the basis of spot colors of populations in the Izu archipelago and the Izu peninsula. However, their genetic diversity and hybridity in nature have not been reported. We performed morphological analysis using 72 individuals of L. auratum var. auratum from seven populations and 72 individuals of L. auratum var. platyphyllum from six populations. We also performed simple sequence repeat (SSR) analysis using 102 individuals of L. auratum var. auratum from seven populations and 134 individuals of L. auratum var. platyphyllum from six populations. Both analyses revealed that L. auratum var. auratum and L. auratum var. platyphyllum are genetically different and that L. auratum var. platyphyllum has genetic diversity among populations in the archipelago.

毛髪および羊毛からのタンパク質抽出に有効な信大法をヒト爪に適用した. この結果, 従来法と比べ, 信大法を用いた場合の抽出タンパク質量は約2.5倍多かった. また, 毛髪, 羊毛と比べ, 抽出標品は, ハードケラチンやマトリヅクスタンパク質に加え, 爪の特性であるソフトケラチンを含んでいた. 爪ケラチンおよびマトリックスタンパク質にリン酸化分子種が含まれていることから, 翻訳後の修飾が強く示唆された. 毛髪タンパク質溶液からフィルムヘ簡便に変換するブレキャスト法, ポストキャスト法, ソフトポストキャスト法を爪タンパク質に適用したところ, すべての方法でフィルム形成が見られ, 70~90%の高い割合で回収された. フィルムはハードケラチンを主成分とし, ソフトケラチン, マトリックスタンパク質を含んでいた. タンパク質溶液からフィルムヘ1分以内の短時間で形成されるプレキャスト法およびポストキャスト法で得られたフィルムは白色で不透明性であったが, 一方, 形成に5~40分ぐらい必要なポストキャスト法 (pH5) とソフトーポストキャスト法で得られたフィルムは半透明性を示した. SEM観察から, 半透明性のフィルムは不透明のフィルムよりもその表面が滑らかであった. これら半透明性のフィルムは, 270~295nmに吸収をもつことから, 新規のUVケア機能をもつ製品へ期待される.

本論分では,投票率があらかじめ定められた水準を下回ると投票自体が無効になるというルール(いわゆる最低投票率)の影響に関して,経済学の分野でこれまで行われてきた理論研究を概観する。どの研究でも,最低投票率を課すことに否定的な結果が得られていることが明らかにされる。
