本稿では、ウェブサイトユーザビリティ評価法のひとつであるウェブ認知ウォークスルー(CWW;Cognitive Walkthrough for the Web)についてその原理と実施方法について説明する。CWWは、Walk-Up-And-Useデバイスを対象としたユーザビリティインスペクション法として開発された認知ウォークスルーをウェブサイトのユーザビリティ評価に適合するように改良したものである。CWWではユーザがウェブサイトをナビゲートする過程をシミュレートしながらユーザビリティの問題を発見する。ここで、ユーザは、ウェブページのなかから注目すべき部分領域を選択し、そこから情報探索ゴールに意味的にもっとも近いリンクを選択するものとしてモデル化される。ユーザビリティの問題の発見は、部分領域の選択、およびリンクの選択が問題なく行えるかどうかの評価を、潜在意味解析(LSA;Latent Semantic Analysis)を利用してゴールとの意味的類似度を求めることにより客観的に行われる。ゴールの記述には、探索すべき情報ばかりでなく、動機や背景知識も含まれる。また、意味的類似度は、ユーザの知識をもっともよく表現する意味空間を選択して行われる。したがって、CWWでは、多様なゴール、ユーザに対応したユーザビリティ評価が可能となっている。さらに、本稿では、現実のウェブサイトをとりあげて、CWWの実施方法を具体的に説明する。

Neural output from the locomotor system for each arm and leg influences the spinal motoneuronal pools directly and indirectly through interneuronal (IN) reflex networks. This review article mainly describes the recent findings concerning the existence, features and functions of common IN systems on spinal reflex pathways induced by multisensory inputs during human locomotion. In particular, we focus on regulation of polysynaptic cutaneous reflex pathways assessed by spatial facilitation. Furthermore, we provide evidence for activation of common presynaptic inhibitory INs that integrate locomotor-related commands and antagonist group Ia inputs. The experimental results are discussed in light of recent advances in motor control in humans and other animals with implications for locomotor rehabilitation.

Feline morbillivirus (FmoPV) is an emerging virus in cats, which is associated with tubulointerstitial nephritis. To study the in vitro host range of FmoPV, we inoculated FmoPV strain SS1 to 32 cell lines originated from 13 species and cultured for two weeks, followed by RNA extraction and reverse-transcription-polymerase chain reaction for FmoPV detection. As a result, only cell lines derived from cats and African green monkeys were susceptible to FmoPV. FmoPV infects diverse feline cell lines: epithelial, fibroblastic, lymphoid and glial cells. These results indicate that the receptor (s) for FmoPV are ubiquitously expressed in cats. No infectivity of FmoPV was observed in human cell lines, which suggests least threatening of cross-species transmission of FmoPV from cats to humans.

1994年春,ホタルイカを内臓ごと生食後に旋尾線虫幼虫type Xによると思われる急性腹症を呈した10例を経験した.症状では,全例に腹痛,9例に嘔気・嘔吐,4例に下痢,6例に腹水を伴った腸閉塞と1例に皮膚爬行疹を認めた.検査所見では,経過中において,全例に末梢血の好酸球増多,9例に血清IgE値増加が認められた.ホタルイカ内臓の約3%に旋尾線虫幼虫type Xが寄生しているとの報告から,その抗体価を測定したところ,9例中7例で陽性を示した.1例では,腹膜炎の診断で回腸部分切除術が行われ,組織学的に,局所的なびらんと粘膜下層内に著明な好酸球とリンパ球浸潤を伴う炎症所見が認められたが,9例は保存的治療で軽快した.

は種後170日目のアカマツ苗に対し, 胚軸の切り込みにはさんだ濾紙片に線虫懸濁液を滴下する方法で接種を行なった。接種直後の樹体内侵入線虫個体数は平均61頭であった。接種後3日目, 線虫は接種点付近に多く, 周辺の樹脂道, 形成層, 篩部, 皮層各組織へ直接侵入していた。6日目, 胚軸の樹脂道における線虫生息, エピセリウム細胞の破壊の進行は, 時間的経過にともなう線虫の生息域拡大を示していた。また, 樹脂道を経路とした形成層, 篩部, 皮層への線虫の移動が観察された。9日目, 接種苗は胚軸横断面による観察で樹脂滲出停止, 皮層, 形成層の一部褐変という明らかな病徴を呈したが, この時期樹体内の線虫個体数の増加は著しかった。胚軸, 根における組織破壊も顕著であった。12日目には線虫生息, 組織破壊の進行は上胚軸にもおよんだ。上胚軸先端の下垂という特徴的な病徴がこのころからあらわれた。針葉の変色, 萎凋は18日目以降に起こった。樹体内の線虫個体数は18日目ごろまでにピークに達したあと減少した。線虫による組織破壊によってできた空洞に, 接種後6日目から観察された細苗集団は病状の進展とともにその存在がますます顕著になった。

本稿では、文章中のn-gram分布状況を著者の特徴量として、文章の著者を推定する手法を提案する。文章中におけるn-gram出現確率分布関数間の非類似度に基づいて著者推定を行うが、非類似度は提案関数dissimの他、Tankardの手法、ダイヴァージェンス、およびクロスエントロピーを用いてそれぞれ計算し、4関数の著者判別精度を比較した。1-gramから10-gram分布を特徴量とし、日本近代作家8人の92作品を対象とする著者推定実験結果について報告する。本手法は文章に関する付加的な情報を全く必要とせず形態素解析などを要求しない。また特定の言語および文章の性質を利用しないため、多くの言語・テキストにそのまま適用可能であることが期待できる。We propose a method for authorship detection based comparisons between n-gram distributions in sentences. The authors are detected via dissimilarity between probability distribution functions of n-grams in sentences. We have compared four functions to measure the dissimilarity, i.e. dissim(proposed function), Tankard's method, divergence and cross entropy. We report the experiments where the 92 works in total by 8 Japanese modern authors are analyzed via from 1-gram to 10-gram distribution. Our method requires no additional information on texts, i.e. no preliminary analyses. All the machine-readable texts can be attributed by the same method.

この島は火山災害の島であり、硫黄鉱山の島であり、急激な過疎化の島である。その社会がどう動いたのか。既存外部データ・地図で補いつつ、現場確認などを行った。そして、それら作業の延長で、ある種理想的な、現場資料保存・開示の事例に接した。小中学繋ぎ廊下資料館(以下「資料館」)の所在である。考古学資料・生活生産道具・動物剥製・文献展示保持である。口永良部事例は、資料館を持てない小型島嶼での島研究力・郷土教育力確保の、重要参考事例となる。The Kuchino-erabujima Island has an active volcano, which has causeddevastation to the island throughout its history, and it also has a sulphur mine. Theisland has been suffering from rapid depopulation- an added problem to its smallpopulation. How has this society changed? Unfortunately there is little record offormal island history; its main record is not held on even in a bigger neighbouringisland. Therefore, we investigated the social mobility through pre-existing externaldata and maps with on-site verif ications. We demonstrate a case of an idealisticpreservation and display of resources in this paper: the "Resource Centre" locatedalong the corridor of the local elementary/junior high school. It displays and preservesarchaeological resources, tools, animal stuff ing, and local literatures. This has shiftedthe handicaps away from small island researchers of having limited resources. Thecase of Kuchino-erabujima Island provides an important example for small islandswithout resource centres: this empowers present and future generations to engage intheir life-long education of their own homeland as well as for island researchers.

世代別GC,およびインクリメンタルGCはよく知られたGCの改善手法であるが,実装するためには正確なライトバリアが必須である.一方,Ruby処理系は保守的マーク&スイープGCを用いることで,C言語などで拡張コードを書くときに余計なコードを含む必要がなかったが,ライトバリアを挿入しておらず,これを必要とするGCアルゴリズムを導入することができなかった.我々はこの問題を解決するために,ライトバリアに対応しているオブジェクトとしていないオブジェクトを区別して,世代別インクリメンタルGCを実装する新しい方法を提案する.本発表では提案する手法について説明し,Rubyへの実装について述べる.
