第201回通常国会において成立した聴覚障害者等による電話の利用の円滑化に関する法律は、聴覚障害者等1による電話の利用の円滑化を図るため、①国等の責務及び総務大臣による基本方針の策定について定めるとともに、②聴覚障害者等の電話による意思疎通を手話等により仲介する電話リレーサービスの提供の業務を行う者の指定に関する制度及び当該指定を受けた者の当該業務に要する費用に充てるための交付金に関する制度を創設する等の措置を講ずるものである。①については、聴覚障害者等による電話の利用の円滑化に当たっては、国等の関係主体が政策的意義を共有し、相互に連携した上で、電話リレ-サービスの提供を含む措置を総合的に講ずる必要があることから、国、地方公共団体、電話提供事業者及び国民について、それぞれの役割に応じた責務を課すとともに、電話リレーサービスの適正かつ確実な提供に加え、音声認識やAI等の技術開発の推進等も含め、聴覚障害者等による電話の利用の円滑化に資する施策全般についての方針を定める観点から、聴覚障害者等による電話の利用を円滑化するための施策に関する基本方針の策定について規定するものである。②については、聴覚障害者等による電話の利用の円滑化を図るためには、電話リレーサービスの適正かつ確実な提供を実現することが重要であることから、電話リレーサービスの提供の業務を適正かつ確実に実施できる者を、その申請により、電話リレーサービス提供機関として指定することができることとし、業務規律及び監督規律に関する規定を整備するとともに、電話リレーサービスの提供の業務に要する費用に充てるための交付金を、電話リレーサービス提供機関に対し交付することとし、当該交付金に係る負担金について、電話提供事業者に納付を義務付ける等の措置を規定するものである。

Working memory (WM) and language analytic ability (LAA) are considered important cognitive factors in second language (L2) grammar learning, but it is not clear which contributes more particularly with different types of grammatical rules. Previous studies have focused on grammatical rules that rely on form, but there are no studies investigating WM and LAA’s contribution comparatively to learning linguistic rules that require the generalization of semantic information. The aim of this study was to determine the contributions of WM and LAA in learning semantic noun classes, grammatical structures whose rules rely on the ability to generalize and categorize based on conceptual knowledge. Thirty Japanese native-speakers participated in a controlled learning experiment that targeted demonstrative-noun agreement patterns based on semantic categories. Multiple regression analyses revealed that WM significantly contributed to the learning of semantic noun classes, but LAA did not. The results suggest that WM is a better predictor than LAA in learning linguistic rules that rely on knowledge outside of linguistic form.

教育の普及に伴い、ブータンではゾンカ語(国語)と英語の有用性と威信性が高まり、ブータン社会における両言語の習得の必要性と重要性に対する人びとの認識が強まっている。本研究は、ブータンに新たに登場した、「英語もゾンカ語も堪能な知識人」を両親とする家庭を対象に家庭言語調査をおこない、核家族で地方に赴任した教師家庭と地元出身の大家族三世代で暮らす一般家庭を比較した。結果からは、ゾンカ語は両方の知識人家庭ですでに標準となっている一方で、両家庭の相違は、新たな家庭言語選択肢となりつつある英語の導入のされ方と民族語の継承にあることが明らかになった。家庭言語に対して高い意識をもつ教師家庭では、子どもの幼少期から両親が意識的に英語を導入しているのに対し、一般家庭では子どもの成長に伴い、子ども自身が学校で学習した英語を家庭へ持ち込むことで家庭言語として定着していく様子がみられた。民族語は、核家族で暮らす教師家庭では子どもが成長すると実用性の高いゾンカ語と英語にシフトされるのに対し、三世代同居の一般家庭では、祖父母世代の存在に支えられ、英語とゾンカ語と併用される形で維持されていた。その結果、一家庭平均3言語という高い複数言語環境を創造するに至っていることが明らかになった。

理由節カラは、内容領域、認識領域、言語行為領域へと意味的に拡張し、多義化した。韓国語は日本語と同じ3領域に拡張した理由節を持ち、中国語は内容領域と認識領域の2領域だけを持つ。そこで、韓国語および中国語を母語とする日本語学習者の文法力を同等に統制して、3領域の用法の習得を比較した。その結果、韓国語母語話者は3領域を等しく理解したが、中国語母語話者は言語行為領域の理解が著しく低かった。母語の理由節の特性が外国語の理解に強く影響することが示された。

本研究では日本人と英語母語話者を対象に非言語カテゴリータスクを実施し、母語のタイプ、移動様態の特性、境界交差の3因子が移動事象のカテゴリー化に影響を及ぼすか否かを調査した。二項ロジスティック回帰分析の結果から、母語タイプと3種類の移動様態 (使役手段 (causative)、速度(speed)、普段(default))がタスクに現れるかどうかがカテゴリー化に影響していたが、境界交差と異常手段(expressive)様態の有無が影響していないことが分かった。また、被験者の母語タイプに関わらず、視認性が高い様態 (使役手段) と視認性が低い様態 (普段) がタスクに含まれると、移動の様態を優先的に選択することが明らかになった。この結果に基づき、これまでの事象合成に関する先行研究を再考する必要があると考えられる。

This study investigated whether working memory capacity and L2 motivation have significant relationships with Japanese English as Foreign Language (EFL) learners’ speaking skills, and to what degree working memory capacity and L2 motivation respectively contribute to L2 speaking skills and their subcomponents (vocabulary, grammar, fluency, and pronunciation). Participants were 113 Japanese EFL students. They completed three assessments: The Versant English Speaking Test; a Japanese (L1)-based listening span test; and an L2 learning motivation survey. To investigate the relationships between variables (English speaking skills, phonological working memory capacity, and L2 learning motivation), a correlation analysis was conducted. L2 speaking test scores were found to be significantly related to both working memory capacity and language learning motivation. Furthermore, regression analyses showed that phonological working memory capacity and motivation significantly explained variance in L2 speaking skills, and indicated significant influences of predictors on four components of L2 speaking skills (vocabulary, grammar, fluency, and pronunciation); L2 motivation displayed stronger influence on speaking subcomponents, except speaking grammar. These results contribute to existing literature on the generalization of effects of individual differences, such as working memory and motivation, on L2 learning.

A大学の4年生対象の看護技術演習に,看護実践能力の向上を目指して,シミュレーション学習と結びつけたOSCEを導入した.本稿の目的は,本演習科目について,科目の実践内容と評価を記述することである.本演習科目の学習目的は,看護職者として必要な知識・技術等の能力が身についているか客観的に評価するとともに,自らの課題解決に向けて取り組むことであった.シミュレーション学習を実施した結果,90%以上の学生が「十分できる」と回答した項目は19項目中16項目であった.また,評価表の自由記載欄の記述内容より,学生は自分の実力を見直し,卒業までに克服すべき課題を明確にしていた.OSCEを実施した結果,60点満点で平均45.4点(75.7%)であった.本演習科目は,学生の看護実践能力の向上を促進できたと考える.一方で,シミュレーション学習とOSCEを結びつけることによる学習効果を,より高められるような工夫が必要であることが示唆された.

In many of online communities like BBS, the members anonymously communicate with each other. Such anonymous communications cause "deindividuation." According to the SIDE model of social psychology, deindividuation has the effects on the individual inclination to conform to group norms. This paper shows how deindividuation affects the order of online community in terms of not individual psychology, but the structural processes of the social systems. This paper is based on the research of the two internet BBS. In this research, the discourse analysis is used which is based on the automatic coding by computer like text mining.

いったん発症するとほぼ100%死亡する狂犬病はウイルス性の人獣共通感染症であり, 全ての温血動物が感受性を持っている. 人類文明の創生期からすでにその怖ろしさが記録に残っているこの疾病は, 野犬や野生動物が感染環を維持していて, 健康な人や動物が偶発的に発症前後の動物と接触することで感染がおこるが, 幸いにも日本では50年近くも発生が見られない. ここでは, 狂犬病ウイルスについて概略を説明する.

Rosiglitazone (RSG) is widely used to reduce the amount of sugar in the blood of patients with diabetes mellitus. Diabetic nephropathy is the most common microvascular complication of diabetes. The role of RSG in diabetic nephropathy is not fully understood. Diabetic nephropathy model was constructed in high glucose (HG)-treated mouse mesangial cells. The effects of RSG on cell viability and cell cycle were investigated using cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay and flow cytometry assay. Oxidative stress was assessed according to ROS production and SOD activity in cells. Inflammatory responses were assessed according to the releases of inflammatory cytokines. Extracellular matrix (ECM) accumulation was determined by the levels of fibronectin and collagen IV using western blot. The expression of Gm26917 and microRNA-185-5p (miR-185-5p) was detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). The interaction between Gm26917 and miR-185-5p was validated by dual-luciferase reporter assay, RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) assay and pull-down assay. RSG significantly inhibited HG-induced proliferation, oxidative stress, inflammatory responses and ECM accumulation in mouse mesangial cells. The expression of Gm26917 was induced by HG but weakened by RSG. Gm26917 knockdown alleviated HG-induced proliferation, oxidative stress, inflammatory responses and ECM accumulation in mouse mesangial cells, and Gm26917 overexpression partly abolished the effects of RSG. Moreover, miR-185-5p was a target of Gm26917, and miR-185-5p inhibition recovered proliferation, oxidative stress, inflammatory responses and ECM accumulation in mouse mesangial cells that were alleviated by Gm26917 knockdown. RSG ameliorated HG-induced mouse mesangial cell proliferation, oxidative stress, inflammation and ECM accumulation partially by governing the Gm26917/miR-185-5p pathway.
