痙攣性発声障害 (SD) に対する音声訓練の有効性を検討するために, SDと診断された患者17名に対して訓練を実施した.喉頭の過緊張の軽減に有効とされる6種類の訓練手法と発話速度低下の訓練を組み合わせて使用した.音声症状の評価は, 3名の言語聴覚士による「喉詰めの度合い」の聴覚印象評価によって行った.17名のうち9名が音声の改善と結果に対する患者自身の満足に基づいて訓練を終了し, 2名が通院困難のために訓練中止, 6名が音声改善中のために訓練継続という結果であった.訓練終了例の年齢, 病悩期間, 訓練回数, 初診時の重症度には共通点が認められなかった.重度の音声症状が軽度にまで改善して訓練を終了したものが4例あった.「ため息発声」, 「気息声」, および発話速度低下訓練が多くの症例に有効な訓練手法であった.本研究の結果は, SDに対する治療法の一つとしての音声訓練の有効性と訓練の実施方法を示唆するものと思われる.

生体組織の病変を早期に発見するために,生体組織を外部から加振し,その際の応答を核磁気共鳴画像法 (Magnetic Resonance Imaging: MRI) により,生体組織に伝播する波動を可視化し,その弾性率を評価する方法として,Magnetic Resonance Elastgraphy (MRE) が検討されている.しかし,広範囲な弾性値を持つ様々な生体組織に対応するためには,十数Hz~数十kHzまでの広帯域な周波数成分を含む入力が必要であるが,加振器のような接触式デバイスでは非常に軟らかい生体組織に対して広帯域な周波数成分を含む入力を作用させることができない.本研究では,所望の音響放射パターン(指向性)に単一デバイスで制御できる,直径数mmの大きさの誘電エラストマーアクチュエータ (Dielectric Elastomer Actuator: DEA) を用いた音源デバイスを創成する.平成29年度は,風船型球面DEAを実現した.柔軟電極をカーボンブラック,誘電エラストマーをアクリル系とし,空気圧により膨らませることで球面DEAとした.この風船型球面DEAスピーカの形状を計測したところ,真上から見た形状は直径15 mmの円,真横から見た形状は長径15 mm,短径12 mmの楕円であった.膨張前の薄膜DEA(円板)の面積が78.5 mm^2,風船型球面DEA(楕円殻)の表面積が2459.2 mm^2であるので,3033 %拡大することに成功した.また,この風船型球面DEAの音響放射特性,振動特性を計測することで,音源デバイスとして有効であることを検証した.さらに,音響放射特性と風船型球面DEAスピーカの振動モード形との関係を調べた.

This paper argues the possible effects of natural vanadium-containing Mt. Fuji ground water on the hyperglycemia based on our previously reported animal and clinical studies. In the animal studies, we documented that the activities of liver insulin receptors, particularly β subunit, and primary insulin-like growth factor-1 β were recovered to the normal levels by the daily forced oral treatment with Mt. Fuji ground water containing natural vanadium in Goto-Kakisaki (GK) rat which is the genetic model of Type II diabetes. Furthermore the increased levels of blood glucose and serum hemoglobin A1C (HbA1C) of GK rats were significantly blocked by the consecutive treatment of natural vanadium water. It is interesting that the other genetic model of Type II diabetes, KKAy mice, were likely to be shown the inhibitory effects of the consecutive treatment of natural vanadium water on increases of blood glucose but not significant. In these animals, however, the significant improvements of Glut 4 transporter and receptor activities in the adipose and muscle were detected. In the clinical studies, the levels of blood glucose and serum HbA1C of hyperglycemic patients were significantly reduced by three month consecutive treatment of this Mt. Fuji ground water, and also the QOL of these patients were completely improved, although these effects were clearly affected by the changes in each life style. Thus both animal and human studies suggest that the daily treatment with Mt. Fuji ground water containing natural vanadium is useful for the regulation of blood glucose levels and the improvement of QOL to the hyperglycemia patients due to the improvements of glucose transporter and the insulin receptor and so on. However it might be little difficult to expect the significant improvement of the severe conditions of diabetes mellitus by the consecutive treatment of natural vanadium water, since this ground water is good as a supplement.

Wild type phage HK022 was mutagenized by N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine to induce clear plaque mutants. A total of 225 clear plaque mutants were isolated and 198 of these were as-signable to one or the other of the two complementation groups of the corresponding cistrons which have been designated as cI and cII, respectively. Approximately 25% of the c mutants were found to be temperature-sensitive (cts); producing turbid plaques at 32 C and clear plaques at 38 C and above. From complementation tests involving cI and cII mutants, bacteria lysogenic for cII prophage were fre-quently obtained. Double lysogens harboring a cI and a cII prophage were infrequently found and single lysogens harboring only a cI prophage have not been recovered. Bacterial lysogens harboring a prophage carrying a cts mutation in the cI cistron were readily obtainable. However, such lysogens show a lethal phenotype at 40 C and above, although they appear to be fully viable at 32 C. It is shown that by incubation of lysogens harboring a cts mutant of the cI cistron at 42 C, it is possible to isolate cryptic lysogens which are non-immune but harbor at least one of the phage sus+ alleles. Genetic data involving cI, cII, and two complementing sus mutants of essential genes are presented. From these data the following vegetative map is deduced: sus4-cII-cI-sus3.

2014年に実施した音楽が時間経過に及ぼす影響を測る実験結果では、静かで緩やかな曲が時間の経過が短くむしろダイナミックでアップテンポの曲の方が長く感じるという結果であった。この実験過程で曲ごとに異なる色彩イメージを連想するという副次的結果を得たため「和音」に着目し,派生する色彩感覚を追加実験によって検証した。追加実験ではC(ド)のmajor,minor,sus4,diminishを代表和音としてデザイン学科学生を対象に聞かせた。色彩トーンや色相の連想イメージを聞くと一定の傾向が見られ,先行研究で報告された色聴保持者と共通する結果が得られた。和音は色彩イメージを誘発し,さらに当該色彩を介して環境デザインで指定された機能イメージと連動させることが理論的に可能となるため,和音が「言語」に替わるサインとして空間に機能するということが示唆された。

Although trade relations between Japan and Australia have been called &ldquo;mutually dependent, &rdquo; there has been some friction since the so-called oil-shock of 1973. Trade relations can work well only when both the production and the demand of the two countries concerned are balanced. The fall in Japanese consumption is the reason for trade frictions in the 1970s. The beef trade problem is one of these cases.<br>The Australian beef industry developed in the 1960s and half of her production was exported. Japan was the second largest market for them after the United States. In early 1974, as beef consumption, which had increased about eight per cent annually untill 1972, decreased 4.2 per cent in 1973, the Japanese government decided not to import any more until beef prices had recovered. This is the &ldquo;first beef dispute&rdquo;, in which the Australian Labour government did not try to retaliate against the Japanese cutback. After the Japanese resumption of imports in 1975, Australia complained about the piecemeal announcement of the import quota.The Japanese government promised that the announcement would be made twice a year, but it announced only a part of the quota in the fall of 1975. The Australian conservative government warned that the Japanese decision might damage trade relations between the two countries and suggested that as a retaliation it would not extend the Fisheries Agreement. This is the &ldquo;second beef dispute.&rdquo;<br>In Japan, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry attempted to minimize beef imports in order to protect the cattle growers' interests and the beef import policies which were formed under the influence of the farmers' organizations and the LDP leaders who supported them. The most influencial factor to increase the import quota was the pressure from the United States. Briefly speaking, relations with Australia have not been considered in the Japanese policy-making process. On the other hand, the Australian policies were influenced by their own internal politics. The attitude of the Fraser government in the &ldquo;second dispute&rdquo; was tougher than that of the Whitlam government because the Liberal-Country coalition relied on the rural electorate. For instance, Mr. Fraser strongly criticised Japan in the fall of 1977 concerning such a minor problem as the long-term announcement of import quotas as his electoral strategy.<br>The government of both countries must play a more constructive role in trade relations as disputes concerning some commodities can be harmful to the general relations between Japan and Australia.

In outer space is a landscape architect Lawrence Halprin of America gave the "Movement" by way of description of the space MOTATION. In this study, we explored the characteristics of each space by applying a Chinese garden, French garden, Italian garden in the implementation MOTATION. And I can be divided into centripetal configuration and dynamic configuration of the garden that was analyzed.
