職人不足をいかに克服するかも大きな問題だった。基礎工事に要する職人は、建築面積から計算して通常は1日当たり300人以上。震災復興で職人不足が顕在化していた当時、とても手配できる人数ではなかった。

Chinese movies came to attract attention all over the world after middle of 1980's. Many of those works draw the living environment of modern China. Therefore, the living environment drawn there is impressed with as reality as well as an image for the people who watched these Chinese movies. This paper aims to interpret the family relations as such living environment in the Chinese movie "Postmen in the mountains" by Huo Jianqi who is the sixth generation director, from the viewpoint of constitution analysis based on cinematography, As a result, 12 chapters, 28 scenes, 637 cuts can be extracted from this movie. And based on these functions and relations, the following relations of a family can be interpreted: I. There exists gender in a family. II. Second son is placed in merge null of a family, and he has the role to connect a family to the outside. III. However, he also has family's center position that ties a family dynamically. IV. Second son is a metaphor of "a thing" succeeded to in a family. In other words, it was able to interpret second son's ambiguity in a family, and his position as mediation of the family succession.

Robenacoxib is a novel nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug approved for dogs. The present study aimed to evaluate influences of sevoflurane anesthesia on the distribution of robenacoxib in dogs. Ten healthy beagle dogs (1 to 11 years old, 9.3 to 14.3 kg body weight, 6 males and 4 females) were subcutaneously administered robenacoxib (2 mg/kg) under conscious condition or sevoflurane anesthesia inhaled a 1.3-fold predetermined individual minimum alveolar concentration of sevoflurane at a 28-day interval. The dogs under sevoflurane anesthesia were also mechanically ventilated and received fluid-therapy. On each occasion, serum samples were collected from the dogs before and at 5, 15, 30, 60, 120, 180 and 240 min after the robenacoxib administration. Serum robenacoxib concentration was measured by a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. Maximum serum concentration of robenacoxib (Cmax) was 2.2 μg/ml [range: 1.2–4.6] (median [range: minimum–maximum]) and time of Cmax (Tmax) was 90 min [range: 60–120] in the conscious dogs. In the sevoflurane-anesthetized dogs, the Cmax significantly declined (1.3 μg/ml [range: 0.8–1.4], P=0.008) and Tmax was delayed (120 min [range: 120–240], P=0.018) compared with those in the conscious dogs. The serum robenacoxib concentration at 240 min (C240) decreased to 0.5 μg/ml [range: 0.2–0.9] in the conscious dogs, while it remained higher in the sevoflurane-anesthetized dogs (1.0 μg/ml [range: 0.3–1.4], P=0.011). In conclusion, the anesthetic procedure with sevoflurane, mechanically ventilated, and received fluid-therapy might affect the pharmacokinetics of subcutaneously administered robenacoxib in dogs.

We surveyed the kidneys of dogs with immune-complex mediated glomerulonephritis (ICGN) by lectin histochemistry using seven lectins—namely WGA, RCA-I, ConA, PNA, SBA, DBA, and UEA-I. Their binding patterns were compared with those from normal dogs. RCA-I signals became weak in the brush borders of the proximal tubules, whereas DBA signals became positive in Bowman’s capsules. Also, varying intensity of the UEA-I signal was noted in the distal tubules, especially in the macula densa. The binding pattern profiles varied among the cases; this diversity in the lectin-binding patterns might be induced as a result of the diverse pathologies seen in canine ICGN.

Pneumatosis coli is a rare intestinal disorder in dogs that is characterized by submucosal or subserosal emphysema of the colon. An 8-year-old castrated male Shih Tzu developed anorexia and hematochezia after undergoing surgery for a congenital splenophrenic shunt. Abdominal radiographic examination revealed linear radiolucency throughout the wall of the large intestine. Results of abdominal computed tomography revealed intramural gas tracking along the colon and rectum. Based on these findings, a diagnosis of pneumatosis coli was made. The dog was treated with antibiotics, but the general condition gradually deteriorated, and the dog died 6 days after the day of diagnosis. It was suspected that portal hypertension following partial ligation of congenital portosystemic shunt may have been associated with pneumatosis coli in this case.

積載量制約のある複数車両による辺巡回配送計画問題は,容量制約つき枝巡回問題とも呼ばれ,節と辺によるネットワーク上で,辺にデマンドがある場合において,配送拠点から容量制約つきの車両がデマンドのあるすべての辺を巡回し配送拠点へ戻るときの巡回総コストが最小となるルートを求める問題である.配車配送計画の効率化には,ネットワークの節にデマンド指定がある車両巡回問題が用いられる例が多い.しかし,郵便配達のようなデマンドが密集した場合や,道路清掃など道路区間そのものにサービスを行う場合には,辺にデマンド指定があるCARPのアプローチの方が適している.本研究では模擬焼きなまし法を用いたCARPの近似解法を提案した.

本研究の第一段階として文化と価値および行動の関係を明らかにした。SMGC及び従来の測定法により測定された文化と,自己の文化への同一化,および個人の価値システムとの関係を明らかにするための研究を行った。この目的のため,平成3年度に開発されたSMGC及び従来の文化測定法を札幌と長崎の学生に適用すると同時に,価値の普遍的心理構造を測定するため価値尺度を用いて,調査対象者の価値システムを測定した。また同時に,文化と価値が行動に及ぼす影響を調べるため,意志決定行動のいくつかの側面を測定するための尺度を実施した。本研究の第二段階として意志決定様式の文化差を説明する原理を主観的測定法を用いて測定された文化内容から引き出せるかどうか検討を行った。このため上の調査で明らかにされた正常人の文化概念とうつ病患者の持つ文化概念を比較検討し分析の手がかりを得ることをめざした。具体的には長崎大学医学部付属病院の入院および外来の精神病患者とその家族を対象として,彼らの価値体系及び精神病に対する知覚を測定した。この研究にあたっては,伝統的コミュニティーの間で異なった価値体系が存在しており,かつ精神病患者の症状に特徴の多く見られる五島列島の患者が中心となった。同時に,それぞれのコミュニティーの文化の特徴の測定を行い,文化と精神障害の関係を明らかにした。

Although chondroinductive growth factors are considered necessary for chondrogenesis of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSC), independent and spontaneous chondrogenesis has been previously demonstrated in adult horses, bovine calves and adult human BMSC. Surprisingly, adult canine BMSC under similar culture conditions previously failed to demonstrate chondrogenesis. The present study evaluated independent chondrogenic potential of BMSC sourced from three young dogs in the absence of known chondroinductive factors. BMSC were culture expanded in 10% DMEM up to third passage (P3). At each passage, the phenotype of BMSC was evaluated by RT-PCR gel electrophoresis and qPCR. BMSC exhibited a chondrogenic phenotype in the absence of dexamethasone and TGF-β1 as verified by the expression of Sox-9, type II collagen and aggrecan. Sox-9 was significantly downregulated (P<0.05) from P1–P3 compared to P0 while type II and X collagen, and aggrecan were significantly downregulated at P3 compared to P0. There was a significant (P<0.01) negative correlation between passaging and Sox-9, type II collagen and aggrecan gene expression. These results indicate that independent chondrogenic potential and phenotype retention of BMSC decreases in a passage-dependent pattern. Therefore, caution should be exercised for future experiments evaluating the chondrogenic potential of BMSC after extensive expansion cultures in 10% DMEM.

In Japanese history of philosophy, Amane Nishi is regarded not as a genuine philosopher but as an enlightenment-thinker, whereas he is unanimously praised as “the father of Japanese philosophy.” The reason is that he was the positivist as well as the utilitarian. However, he expressed the faith in “Ten (i.e. Heaven),” Japanese metaphysical or divine entity. The concept of “Ten” is inherited from Kogaku school of Confucianism in Tokugawa era, and derived from Kukai’s esoteric Buddhism in ancient era. Therefore, Nishi’s philosophy remains vague yet, as long as the relation between positivism and “Ten” within his thought is not elucidated. This paper condenses Nishi’s philosophy into three theses, aiming to comprehend it completely. The first is〈 Relation i.g. “Ri (Reason)”〉 thesis. Nishi raised it against Shushigaku school of Confucianism. Compering this thesis with thoughts of Shushigaku, Kogaku, or Conte and J.S.Mill, Nishi’s philosophy is characterized as the perspective of distinguishing and relating every thing in the actual world. The second is〈Knowledge / Faith〉 thesis, his fundamental view on religion. Interpreting implications of this thesis, the structure of relationships among science, metaphysics, religion and morality is lighted up. Their co-related structure of every thing, which is mediated by “Ri” and suspended by “Ten,” is the Nishi’s very system of philosophy. The third is〈 Feeling = Brain〉 thesis. This is the basis of bringing〈 distinction-connection〉 into the world. Here is followed how this thesis makes sciences unified, building a bridge between physiology and psychology. And also how it makes utilitarian ethics systematic, integrating personal, inter-personal and societal levels. The core of Nishi’s philosophy exists in his perspective of〈 distinction-connection〉. This is one of the pictures of the “philosophical thinking.” From this perspective, he tried to divide and integrate all actual beings, including human activities, for example, science and philosophy, metaphysics and religion, physics and psychology, physiology and psychology, simple and complex feeling, religion and morality, morality and law, and so on. His “system of philosophy” embodies itself in such inclusiveness. And in Japanese metaphysical tradition, the actual world substantially means “Ten and Chi (i.e. Heaven and Earth)”. Therefore, his philosophy also includes the first attempt of “Japanese metaphysics.”
