From the previous paper, many problems about a fashion image term were shown. In this paper, I investigated the difference in evaluation of the fashion image term by nationality. I compared with the thing the image term in which the fashion photograph of 40 in the image term of 11 was chosen by 98 young South Korean women by the young 109 Japanese woman. As a result, while over 60% of Japanese subjects chose the same image terms for eight photographs, South Korean subjects selected for only three photographs. It was found that there was variation in the selected image terms on images of fashion style among the South Korean subjects. It analyzed using Hayashi's quantification methods class III. Although both were classified into four principal components, they differed from those of Japanese subjects regarding the styles belonging to each principal component and interpretation.

Eine Reihe japanischer Handschriften nennen als Quelle einen holländischen Chirurgen namens "Asu Yorean", dessen Identität bislang ungeklärt war. Die vorliegende Arbeit beschreibt den Japanaufenthalt dieses Hans Juriaen Hancko, der aus Breslau stammte, 1646 im Dienste der Verenigden Oostindischen Compagnie nach Ostasien ging und während vom Oktober 1655 bis Oktober 1657 in Japan arbeitete. Im einzelnen werden beschrieben: * Die Reise nach Edo Ende 1655, wo Hancko viele hochgestellte Persönlichkeiten als Patienten kennenlernte. * Die medizinischen Instruktionen in Nagasaki, die der vom Reichskommissar Inoue beauftragte Hancko ab Juni 1656 dem berühmten Konfuzianer und Arzt MUKAI Gensho- gab. * Die widerwillig vorgenommene Behandlung einer Hündin und eines Affen des japanischen Nagasaki-Gouverneurs. * Die Hofreise Anfang 1657 mit dem neuen Faktoreileiter Zacharias Wagener und der Edosche Großbrand, den die Europäer mit knapper Not überlebten. * Die letzten Monate in Nagasaki bis zur Abreise nach Batavia. * Einige Spuren Hans Juriaen Hanckos in japanischen Handschriften jener Zeit.

Background:Although hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a known risk factor for cardiovascular disease, whether antiviral therapy (AVT) can reduce heart failure (HF) hospitalizations is unknown.Methods and Results:In this population-based cohort study, we used data from the Taiwan National Health Insurance Research Database to evaluate the effect of interferon-based therapy (IBT) on cardiovascular events in patients with chronic HCV infection. Clinical outcomes evaluated included HF hospitalizations; a composite of acute myocardial infarction, ischemic stroke, and peripheral artery disease; all-cause death; and cardiovascular death. Of 83,229 eligible patients with chronic HCV infection, we compared 16,284 patients who received IBT with untreated subjects after propensity score matching. Patients who received IBT were less likely to be hospitalized for HF compared with untreated subjects (incidence density.ID, 0.9 vs. 1.5 events per 103person-years; hazard ratio.HR, 0.58; 95% confidence interval.CI, 0.42–0.79; P=0.001). Compared with untreated subjects, the treated group had significantly lower risk of composite vascular events (ID, 3.7 vs. 5.0 events per 103person-years; P<0.001), all-cause death (ID, 5.6 vs. 17.2 events per 103person-years; P<0.001), and cardiovascular death (ID, 0.2 vs. 0.6 events per 103person-years; P=0.001).Conclusions:AVT for chronic HCV infection might offer protection against HF hospitalizations, critical vascular events, and cardiovascular death beyond known beneficial effects.

二人零和有限確定完全情報ゲームにおいてすでにAIは人間に匹敵する強さとなっており,最近では麻雀や人狼など,多人数ゲーム,不完全情報ゲーム,不確定ゲームが新たな研究対象として注目を集めている.そのような中で不確定ゲームとしてデジタルカーリングがある.デジタルカーリングはカーリングの二人用コンピュータゲームであり,AIどうしを競わせカーリングの戦略を解析することを目的とした不確定ゲームのテストベッドとして開発された.本研究ではデジタルカーリングにボードゲームの探索手法を適用し,投球目標座標と回転方向を候補手,盤面状態を局面としてデジタルカーリングにExpectimaxによるゲーム木探索を適用する手法を提案する.Expectimaxではゲーム木内で確率的に推移するノードを用いており,ゲームの不確定性を考慮した探索が可能となっている.提案手法の有効性を検証するため,不確定性を考慮する場合としない場合それぞれにおいて探索の深さを変化させ既存AIとの対戦実験を行った.その結果,提案手法による不確定性の考慮を行った場合に勝率が上昇し,また不確定性を考慮した場合のみ探索の深さを増やすことで勝率が上昇したことから,デジタルカーリングにおける提案手法による不確定性を考慮した先読みの有効性が明らかとなった.

株価をランダムウォークとして近似することは広く行われているが, そのモデルでは全面高や全面安という現象を表現することは難しい。実際に市場全体からの寄与がそれぞれの株価に存在することを相関係数行列の固有値とランダム行列の手法を用いて議論する。また, それぞれの銘柄間の依存性を定量的に考慮したモデルを構成する一つの方法を紹介する。

Twisting from a somersault is one of the most used techniques in sports with airborne components such as diving, gymnastics, and so on. The purposes of this study were to investigate the effect of arm swing on the production of aerial twist during somersault and to identify factors affecting the production of the twist. By using a model composed of three rigid bodies, the mechanism of the production of twist from a somersault was confirmed theoretically. Then, quantitative calculation was done based on the model. In the calculation a performer was assumed to swing one arm downward from the symmetrical position with both arms above the head. To validate the model, twisting somersaults of two male skilled gymnasts were filmed and analyzed with 3-dimensional cinematography (DLT method) to compare with the model. The performances were forward twist-somersaults of 1/2, 1 and 3/2 revolutions from a vaulting horse. The factors affecting the generation of twist are discussed based on the results of computer simulation and film data. The results are summarized as follows: 1) An asymmetrical arm swing could generate a twist about the longitudinal axis of the body from a somersault. This arm swing tilted the principal axes of the body away from their original positions. The axis of the angular momentum that was initially established did not change in the airborne phase, but the momentum resolved into two perpendicular components, one about the body's principal longitudinal axis and the another about the body's frontal axis (principal axis). Thus, the somersaulting motion around the frontal axis will continue even though the frontal axis is now tilted from its original position, and in addition the body will begin to twist about its longitudinal axis. 2) The direction of the twist depended upon the initial directions of the somersault and/or arm swing. 3) Large angular velocity of the somersault before the change in the posture and large swing angle of the arm were effective for the generation of twisting. The smaller the moment of inertia about body's longitudinal axis, the larger the twisting that was produced.
