Solid models of the vocal tract with hypopharyngeal cavities were molded with a stereolithographic technique based on MRI data obtained from a male speaker during the production of Japanese vowels /a/ and /o/. A vowel synthesis experiment conducted with the models revealed a relatively good agreement in the second and third formants, as well as in anti-resonance at 4–5 kHz. The elimination of the models’ piriform fossa resulted in the disappearance of the anti-resonance and shifts of the adjacent formants. The modification of the laryngeal cavity into a uniform tube caused spectral changes in the frequency range of 1.5–7.0 kHz. These acoustic effects of hypopharyngeal cavities were dependent on vocal tract shapes.

近年,学習者が主体的に問題を発見し解を見いだしていく能動的学修(アクティブ・ラーニング)への転換が求められている.本研究は,それらの学習過程を支援するICTの環境を構築し,それらの活用の効果を提案するものである.ICTの環境については,予算的な制約もあり,目的を定めた機器の選定と教室設計が大切である.本システムは,アクティブラーニングを支援する観点から,机と椅子の一体型の移動可能な「ノード」を導入することで,様々な学習形態に対応することを可能にしている.一斉学習の机配列から,個別,グループ学習へ瞬時に対応できる.画像提示は,三連式のプロジェクターとミキサーで入出力を制御するもので,同時に4入力(1入力はネットワークを活用した無線)に対応しており,3台のプロジェクターから4つの画面を提示することができる.また,1画面は,電子黒板機能を有している.これらの学習環境で講義を行い,それらの評価とICTに対する院生の意識調査の結果を報告する.

Modern society has seen a tremendous growth in the amount of digital data, however a database for human stress currently is not prevalent. Additionally, diagnostic criteria based on evidence, quantitative scales have not been fully established for stress. The purpose of this research is to provide visually presentation method of stress evidence paper in conjunction with web article in order to help people understand and overcome their stress. We propose a stress evidence search engine named “Kokoronoma” incorporated with i) a rate of evidence which express the relationship between the web article and the scientific paper, ii) human machine interface to show the rate of evidence visually. The fabricated stress evidence search engine was evaluated by the 10 young male users to compare with a multipurpose search engine as Google and Google Scholar. Three kinds of search problem as serotonin, mood disorder, and depression were used for the evaluation. As the results, Stress evidence paper and the rate of evidence were showed in conjunction with web article, automatically. The scores of subjective evaluation of the stress evidence search engine for visible observation images, intuitive awareness, and un-complicatedness showed higher than that of the multipurpose search engine. It was considered that the fabricated stress evidence search engine has an effective in reducing the stress of user.

本研究では、自閉症児の母親に対し、子どもの行動を家庭で簡単に記録できるチェックリストを提供し、記録に基づいた支援をすることによる子どもの行動変容と母親のかかわり行動の変化を検討した。初めに、子どもの自発的な着替えを標的行動として、課題分析によるチェックリストを作成し、母親のかかわり方について、週1回程度の面談指導を約2か月間継続した。その結果、着替えの自発性は向上した。同時に、母親の子どもへのかかわり方にも変化がみられ、主体的に次の標的行動の指導に取り組むようになった。これらの結果をふまえ、チェックリストを用いた支援の効果について、親の主体的な取り組みを引き出すといった観点から考察した。

岩盤中の割れ目をモデル化する際に, 原位置で観察したスケールとモデル化するスケールが大きく異なる場合には, 割れ目特性のスケール依存性に注意する必要がある. わが国のトンネルやダムで観察された割れ目データを収集して, 割れ目トレース長のスケール効果について検討した結果, 割れ目トレース長の頻度分布は場所や岩種に関係なく負のべき乗分布にしたがうことが示された. また, 花崗岩を対象として割れ目ネットワークモデルの水理特性について検討した結果, 割れ目ネットワークモデルの水理特性は割れ目の大きさを表すべき乗分布のべき乗数に依存し, べき乗数が小さいほどモデル内に大きな割れ目が多くなりモデルの透水性は高くモデル内の地下水移行時間は短くなることが示された.

Dimensional changes of complete dentures, which were constructed by six conventional polymerization methods, were investigated after polymerization and during storage. The discrepancy at median line and alveolar ridge was larger in the dentures constructed in a water bath at 70°C for 40 min and then at 100°C for 30 min, in a hot press and by microwave polymerization than in a water bath at 70°C for 24 hrs, for 8 hrs and by autopolymerization. The discrepancy at the denture border of the dentures constructed by autopolymerization during storage in water for 30 days was 0.174±0.048 mm and in the case of the dentures constructed by other polymerization methods was less than 0.1 mm. Since the dimensional changes of the dentures during storage in water occurred up to 7 days, it seems reasonable that wearing dentures or occlusional adjustment should be carried out after storage in water for more than 7 days. The discrepancy was 3 to 4 times in the dentures stored in air than in water. When the dentures which were stored in air for 30 days was immersed in water for 30 days, the discrepancy at the denture border of the dentures constructed by autopolymerization was restored to 0.214±0.097 mm, but in the case of other polymerization methods, it was restored to about 0.14 mm.
