本稿では、IT セキュリティの環境、技術の変化とそれに対するトレンドマイクロの対応を紹介する。最近のIT セキュリティはユーザの増加やアプリケーションの多様化などにより、ウイルスによる脅威が高まっている。それに対し、クラウド技術とビッグデータの分析技術を用いた、トレンドマイクロの対応を紹介する。最後には技術変化に伴う法人向けビジネスモデルの変化も紹介する。

本論文は、研究開発型企業として長期に発展してきた事例を、状況的両利きの組織という概念に立脚し分析したものである。知識の探索と活用を追求しながらどのように成果を実現してきたのか、その動態的組織適応を長期に観察した。その結果、そこでは社会的支援と成果管理の両者が高次元となるような関連施策の段階的導入と両者の相互作用が枢要であることが明らかになった。

Web sites are becoming more common these days, The Osaka University Life Sciences Library has tried to create a useful and worthwhile Web site, which was established in July 1997, to provide up-to-date information for users. This paper describes its experience of creating a notable Web site. This Web site puts main news and information which is worthwhile for the users on the upper part of the homepage, as the users can find out whether the information is necessary or not at first access. An easily used-site and regular or frequent renewal encourage users to browse the Web site repeatedly. A maintenance system is necessary for renewing the pages effectively. Each item is taken care of by people in charge to guarantee that up-to-date information is provided. Also, a working group has been organized to manage all the pages. In addition, public relations of the Web site and continuous provision of useful information are important to continue this new service. Its purpose and contents are also discussed.

阪神・淡路大震災は未明の時間帯に発生したため、6000人を越えた死者やそれ以上の負傷者のほとんどが住宅で生じている。事務所、工場などの職場の被害も著しいものであった。仮に日中に地震が発生していたならば、職場などでの人的被害は甚大であったろうと考えられる。しかしながら、職場における被災状況に関する情報に乏しかった。そこで、建築学会近畿支部構造部会が企画した第2次アンケート調査に職場への復帰や職場の被災状況に関しての質問を組み込んだ。アンケート結果の職場の被災状況に関する項目の単純集計結果について報告する。回答者は690名で、多くは被害の著しかった地域周辺に居住している。回答の10%は、職場の建物が外観上からも倒壊状態や明らかに危険な被害を受けていた。建物で入りロの被害で立居入りが困難、若しくは不可能であった回答は20%であった。この事は、逆に見ると避難が困難になることにつながる。多くの職場では室内の散乱が著しい。重量のある物品棚や書棚の移動、転倒、飛びの回答がある。もし、業務中の地震であったなら、死亡若しくは重傷被害を受けたと感じた回答が29%に達した。地震発生の時間帯が違った場合の、災害状況の検討資料として今後の展開を図りたい。

The purpose of this paper is to identify factors inhibiting communication between Japanese staff and foreign staff members with advanced Japanese language skills (FSAJLS). A survey was conducted from June to November in 1994. 142 employees, both Japanese and FSAJLS, working at 43 companies throughout Tokyo, were surveyed. The survey was intended to examine the causes for barriers in business communicaton between Japanese and FSAJIS and the estimation of the roles of the FSAJLS in their companies. The results are summarized as follows : Both Japanese and FSAJLS found many barriers in the Japanese language skills of the FSAJLS. The main linguistic barrier is their lack of skills in assessing situations correctly and assuming the appropriate speech register in the process of ongoing conversations. Also, the FSAJLS have great psychological difficulties in dealing with the prejudices of the Japanese. As for the roles of the FSAJLS, there is a perception gap between Japanese and FSAJLS. The analysis of the results indicates that the present situation calls for considerable improvement in Japanese companies, by setting up an environment which would accept Japanese speaking foreign staff.

We evaluated the effects of pre-germinated brown rice (hatsuga genmai, PGR) on learning and memory and compared them with those of polished rice or cornstarch. In mice that were fed pellets of polished rice or PGR for two weeks, the learning ability in the Morris water maze test was significantly enhanced compared with mice that were fed cornstarch pellets. In the Y-maze test, the intake of food pellets for two weeks failed to affect spontaneous alternation behavior. β-Amyloid25—35 (Aβ25—35: 3 nmol/mouse, i.c.v.) protein impaired spontaneous alternation behavior in mice that were fed pellets of cornstarch or polished rice. In contrast, PGR pellets prevented the Aβ25—35-induced impairment of spontaneous alternation behavior. These results suggest that polished rice and PGR have facilitating effects on spatial learning. In particular, it is surmised that PGR may prevent Alzheimer's disease associated with Aβ.

消化器外科病棟で手術を受ける65歳以上の患者84名を対象に,看護師が日本語版NEECHAM混乱・錯乱状態スケールを用いて,術後1~7日目までの患者の混乱・錯乱状態を評価した.その後看護師31名を対象に,NEECHAMの使用をルーチンワークとする可能性等について質問紙調査を実施したところ,「スケールを使用してせん妄の観察力や判断力がアップした」という者は全体の22.6%,「スケール使用による業務負担が大きい」という者は76.7%,病棟でのスケール使用のルーティン化については,「今の忙しい病棟では望まないが,もう少し余裕のある状況であれば望む」が35.5%,「望まない」が38.7%,「なんともいえない」が22.6%であった.今後の課題として,事前研修や業務量などの環境調整,NEECHAM評価をいかに患者ケアに生かすかという観点からのスーパービジョンや,事例検討会の開催等の必要性が示唆された.

M2M サービスへの活用が注目されている 920MHz 帯無線には,サービスや用途に応じて複数の通信プロトコルが存在する.それら異なる通信プロトコルの M2M デバイスを収容するためには,利用プロトコルに合わせたアクセスポイントが必要となるため,その設置コストの増大が懸念される.本稿では,既存のアクセスポイントに増設可能な 920MHz 帯無線ドングルに着目し,当該ドングルを利用して 920MHz 帯無線の複数の通信プロトコルを扱えるシステムを提案する.我々は通信プロトコルの追加・変更に対して拡張容易であることを考慮し,各通信プロトコルの異なる部分をクラウドサーバに配置したシステムを構築した.このシステムでは,ドングルをクラウドサーバに接続するために USB/IP を用いた.通信プロトコルの分離及び USB/IP の適用でネットワーク負荷が増大するという課題に対して,パケット集約手法を提案し,その有効性を評価する.
