Many theorists suggest that an individual's past relationship experiences with his or her own parents are carried forward and reenacted in subsequent relationships, especially present relationships established with his or her own children. This notion of intergenerational transmission of caregiver-child relationships originated in psychoanalytic theories, and later came to be explored in association with child-maltreatment, attachment, and so on. Bowlby postulated that children internalize their transactional patterns with caregivers and construct representational models, i. e. "internal working models", of self and other in attachment relationships, and that these models, used to perceive and appraise informations and to plan future actions, then govern relationship patterns with others. Currently Bowlby's concept of "internal working models" offers a new framework for understanding intergenerational transmission of attachment relationships. In this paper, a wide variety of theoretical, clinical, and empirical studies concerning this theme were reviewed, and, in addition, directions for continued research were discussed.

Although a number of researchers have interpreted what J. Lacan had said about vision, most of their interpretations seem to be insufficient to grasp the essence of the Gaze (regard). This paper explains Lacan’s concept of the Gaze through four steps: First of all, accounting for the function of “Lure” using an ethological study of Nicolas Tinbergen. Second, relating some examples of the Gaze referring to Sartre and Merleau-Ponty in the aspect of self-awareness. Third, distinguishing the Picture (tableau) from Painting (peinture), the Gaze from the eye by relating to the mimicry which is advocated by Roger Caillois. Finally, this paper integrates the arguments above and explains the painting contest of Zeuxis and Parrhasios. Therefore it reveals the meaning of “a triumph of the Gaze over the eye” and the object a. We find a relationship between the Gaze and the Idea designated by Plato.

This is a case report of a 5-year-old girl with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) who had clitoral hypertrophy and vagina opening at verumontanum between the bladder neck and external urethral sphincter. Female pseudohermaphroditism with CAH is the most common type of intersex problem seen in children. In females with this disorder, the internal genital organs are usually normal, but variable degrees of virilization can be observed externally. We discussed the indication of the surgical correction of ambiguous external genitalia in this syndrome in view of sexual function and cosmetic problems.

本研究は、国立国語研究所が開発中の小学校・中学校の教科書コーパスを用いて、日本語学習児童生徒、および日本語を母語とする児童生徒が、教科学習を行うにあたり必要だと考えられる学習語のリストの作成を試みたものである。リストの作成は、基本的にCoxhead(2000)によって行われた英語における新学習語リスト(NAWL)の選出手順に従ったが、頻度だけでなく、日本語教育実践者による重要度の判断も加味し、最終的に1230語が選出された。ただ、このリストは現段階では試案としての位置づけである。今後、教育現場で使用してもらうことにより、妥当性や有効性の検討を行い、教科による特殊な意味や使い方などの情報を付加する必要があるのかなども吟味することで、質・量ともに、修正を重ねていく必要がある。

本研究は,恐怖学習を獲得させたラットを用い,恐怖記憶に対する強制運動の影響を明らかにすることを目的として行った.SD系雄性ラット(生後4週齢)を用い,すべてのラットに23.5時間の飲水制限下にて,以下の実験群に分けて実験を行った.運動群:4週間の強制運動(回転速度12~15 m/分,60分/日,5日/週で回転ケージ内を歩行)させた群,非運動群:運動はさせず回転ケージ内に10分間入れた後飼育ケージに戻した(4週間)群,において運動スケジュール終了後に恐怖条件付けを行った.恐怖条件付けはオペラントケージを用いて条件刺激をブザー音30秒,無条件刺激を足底への電気刺激(2.5 mA,29秒,5回/5分)として行った.その後恐怖条件付け学習の獲得について評価するために,条件刺激(ブザー音)に対するすくみ行動を解析した.また,運動群と非運動群の精神的不安度に差が無いかを調べるために,高架十字迷路試験を用いて評価を行った.すくみ行動の割合では,運動群の2日目(11.7±3.8%,n=5)と3日目(0.3±0.3%,n=5)に対して非運動群では2日目(42.7±5.1%,n=5),3日目(22.7±7.9%,n=5)であり,非運動群と比較して運動群のすくみ行動率の有意な低下が認められた.高架十字迷路試験では,運動群と非運動群の間では,全ての項目において有意差は認められなかった.本研究の結果から,強制運動を負荷したことで恐怖記憶が減弱されたことが示された.また,この時運動群と非運動群において精神的不安度に差が無いことも示唆された.以上により強制運動を負荷することで,精神的不安が増強されない程度の恐怖記憶に対してそれを減弱する効果がある可能性が示された.

This paper focuses on two educational programs for adults, one held in the U.S. and the other in Japan. People participating in the programs learn how to deal with their conscious will, in order to develop their well-formed unconscious conditions suitable for achievement of their goals embedded in their unconscious. The underlying theory derives from research findings on the automaticity of higher mental processes, such as motivation, goal-settings, social behavior, and so on. Educators and educational researchers are now expected to gather scientific rerearch findings in order to develop educational programs to help people understand and livehappier lives.
