“Uchi-mata” difference was discovered by using available motion pictures.The motion pictures were disassembled into frame data called AVI,which is a file format for storing audio and video information developed by Microsoft Corp.The motions performed by participants while using Judo standin “ Uchimata” were analyzed using a software system based on “Open CV”,which is an open source library for computer vision and image processing developed by Intel Corp.The positions of parts of the body were indicated manually on to the AVI pictures based on the “frame by frame playback” technique, then put into a computer. The compensation of pixel values to the real space size was performed by using the known length of the“ tatami” in the AVI picture.By repeating these,the positions of the body were traced corresponding to the frame rate.The compensated positional data of the body was gathered and then disassembled into x direction-time data and y direction-time data to calculate velocity. In this manner,the velocity of the specified body parts of the thrown opponent were calculated.The subjects selected were two leading Judo men.When he threw his opponent down,his motion of his stand technique of“ Uchi-mata” was analyzed.This is a case study of motion analysis of Judo using available motion pictures.We have given an example of an analysis method for Judo from an engineering point of view.

The early Japanese Christian leader, Uchimura Kanzo, experienced Shinto a century ago as disturbingly polytheistic. There is no reason to doubt the sincerity of his experience and thought. But in my view, there already existed in his time a monotheist Shinto. It later changed character, but I argue that Shinto is still an inclusive, narrow monotheist religious cult. In modern Shinto, divine power includes some and suppresses other cosmic powers. An Emperor-centered monotheism with a universal scope emerged during early modernity. Shinto retained its inclusive monotheism after the Shinto Directive of 1945, but the privatization of emperor veneration has reduced Shinto to a norm for the Japanese people, even if a potential universality is still expressed. Postmodern Shinto dresses its universality in individual and varied coats, transcending the boundaries of Japanese nationality. New Shinto is in my view not polytheistic. However, its inclusive, monotheist universalism is transformed onto a purely spiritual and individualized level.

日本とメキシコとは14時間もの時差があり遠く離れている。しかし、死者に飲食物を供える習俗を共有している。西欧の献花台にあるのは、ろうそくと花のみで、西欧の合理主義的見地からは「死者は食べない」と言われる。日本では、死してものどが渇き飢える死者・像が受容される。日本のお盆では今もって一部の地域では墓前飲食が行われている。メキシコの11月1日・2日の「死者の日」は、お盆同様に死霊を墓で歓待し飲食物で迎える。日本では迎え火をたいて霊魂が迷わないようにと、メキシコではオレンジ色のマリーゴールドの花びらを墓から家路までまいて死霊が迷わずに到着できるように配慮され、死者は家人に招き入れられる。日本との類似性を見出しつつも、メキシコではガイコツのお菓子・おもちゃが充満し、「死を笑う心性」「死しての平等」の譜誰と歪んだ平等性は、メキシコの歴史と深い死生観に根差していることを考えさせられる。

Many people would probably agree that ghosts are one of the most interesting subjects in Japanese thought and culture, and a subject that has always drawn interest from abroad. In addition to considering the remarkable popularity the ghost theme has enjoyed, another interesting perspective presents itself which involves a comparison of the ghost-related culture in different societies of the world. Because death is a universal phenomenon, the problem of the unhappy dead and ghosts appears throughout the world, across both geographical and temporal boundaries. Therefore, with ghosts being established as an important focus for scholarship, the author offers one perspective on the topic in this paper. In this article, the question of why ghosts and ghost-related culture came to be so popular in the Edo period will be addressed.It goes without saying that fearful tales of the dead have been told in all periods and places. On the Japanese archipelago, however, the majority of these tales have their origins in the early modern period or later. Why is it that ghost stories and tales of the supernatural in Japan emerged predominantly in the early modern and modern periods, when society was undergoing a process of secularization? The author will answer this question by a comparison of the customs of the Japanese medieval and early modern periods, taking account of the changes which occurred relating to tombs and funerary practices. In searching for the cause of the large-scale emergence of ghosts in the early modern period, the author will also highlight the shift in Japanese cosmology which occurred between the medieval and early modern periods.

学習指導要領の改訂により,2020年度から小学校でプログラミングが必須の内容になった.2022年から高等学校でも「情報I」が必履修になり,全員がプログラミングを学ぶことになる.今後,プログラミングについて,強い意欲を持つ高校生も今以上に増えると考えられる.そこで,筆者らは,大学の初年次情報基礎科目の内容を,そのままe-ラーニングにより提供する「大学授業科目先取学修」の環境を整備し,「高大連携・基礎プログラミング」を実施した.これらは,プログラミングに興味のある,進んだ内容を学びたい高校生に活用してもらうことを目的としている.本稿では2019年度の実施について報告する.

本論文ではレール上を浮遊するという非日常的な体験を生成する方法について提案する.具体的には,移動車両の進行方向の前方と後方に配置した2台の360°カメラによって撮影された映像を,つなぎ合わせる.本論文ではゆりかもめを対象として,提案手法を実装し,HMDを通してレール上を浮遊する体験を実現した.加えて,詳細な方法及び今後の課題について述べる.

PC のデスクトップにイラストのキャラクターを配置し,画像の連続差し替えや画像周辺のバルーンにセリフを載せて,あたかもそこに喋るキャラクターがいるような感覚を提供するアプリケーションをデスクトップマスコットという.デスクトップマスコットは有志や企業などで開発され,多くは Web でプログラムが公開されている.また,新規にキャラクターを追加できるようになっており,ユーザによるキャラクターデータの追加がよく行われている.しかし,プログラムダウンロードの手間が必要なことや,ユーザが追加したキャラクターデータの評価がデータ作成者へフィードバックされにくいといった問題点があった.そこで著者らはブラウザ上で動作する,キャラクターデータの投稿や共有,評価が可能な Web アプリケーションを開発した.Web アプリケーションとして動作することにより,キャラクターデータの配布に留まらず,フィードバックが可能になった.

本稿は、ニーズ別語彙シラバスを作成する過程に、情報の重要度という新たな視点を加えるものである。幼稚園の配布文書を調査対象とし、全て一括で集計した場合と「情報のトリアージ」という考えをもとに情報の重要度別に集計した場合の頻出語の違いを比較した。その結果、使われている名詞には情報の重要度ごとに異なる特徴が見られた。ニーズ別語彙シラバスの作成のためには、学習者が読み取らなければならない情報の緊急性、重要性を考え、文書を選別して調査を行う必要性が示唆される結果となった。この「情報のトリアージ」という視点を入れることは、すべての読み手にとって読みかたを選べる有益な手段だと考えられる。

In this paper, I would like to analyse Paul Tillich's understanding of existentialism and courage. It is certain that existentialism is well known philosophical attitude to us today, however, Tillich's understanding of it is a bit different from what is called "Existentialism". When we talk about Tillich's usage of the word "Existentialism", we ought to notice that he clearly uses it as the word which is opposed to the word "Essentialism". Hence, the central problem is that the semantics of essentialism should be made clear. Moreover, his point of view of existentialism is definitely based upon Christian theism. Because there are many instances of atheistic existentialism in the world, we must remember this as the major premise. As Kant regarded mathematics as the good luck of human reason, as Hegel adopted dialectic in order to explain the process of history, Tillich regards existentialism as one of the pieces of good luck of Christian theology. Tillich has contributed to the understanding of contemporary men who are suffering from the emptiness and meaninglessness of life,since he has provided the intrinsic answer and the meaning of life for us in relation to Christianity itself. Existential questions and theological answers are interdependent in Tillich. Both are necessary. Existential questions without theological answers will lead inevitably to nihilism. In this paper, special attention is paid to how Tillich tries to affirm life in his theology.

Taking up the 3D as an objective of interest for the secondary and high school students as a learning theme, the authors of this paper made an attempt to develop the 3D teaching material enabling us to deliver a message to the students in purport that during the process of their learning the theory of the stereoscopic vision the subjects “why? And how?” can be solved when the learning subjects are studied in a correlated manner. The material of the learning is as follows: Allowing the secondary school students and general high school students to learning the fundamental theory of the 3D through the experiments of stereoscopic vision and thereafter enabling them to learn two methods of drawing some simple anaglyphs as the application of the learning of the fundamental principle. Furthermore the high school students who wish to take scientific courses throughout their life are induced to be aware of the fact that mathematics is an efficient weapon to solve the problematic points when the stereoscopic vision is reduced into a specific model as developed learning..

メダカ(ヒメダカ:成魚)およびイモリ(アカハライモリ:成体雌)の行動および姿勢をパラボリックフライト中の微小重力下で観察した。結果および考察は以下の通りである。メダカ:純系HO5および雑系の成魚は暗視条件下では両方とも輪を描く回転運動を示した。しかし、明視条件下ではHO5系は輪を描く回転運動を示したが、雑系は示さなかった。他の純系HB32Cはどちらの場合も回転運動を示さなかった。このように、微小重力に対する成魚メダカの行動上の反応には系による違いが存在した。イモリ:水中のイモリはゆっくりとした回転、うねりを示しながら泳いだ。空気中では、ほとんどのイモリが微小重力下においても水槽の底面にとどまっていた。何匹かのイモリは無重力時に浮かび上がってきた。それらは前肢を体側に沿わせたまま、空気中を体をうねらせて泳いだ。AAEU(水棲動物実験装置)カセット中のイモリは、AAEUカセットの厚さが成体イモリの身体の幅くらいしかないため、水中でも空気中でもカセットの表面に張り付いていた。イモリは、宇宙空間のAAEUカセットの中で産卵中でも姿勢を保ち続けることができると考えられる。MU-300型航空機からの機械的振動が実験ラックに伝わった。メダカ・イモリの行動に及ぼす影響を評価するため、振幅および周波数スペクトル解析するように振動を記録した。

本報告書は月・火星の無人の探査計画、すなわち月と火星のそれぞれについての観測、着陸/移動探査およびサンプル・リターンについての無人の探査計画の検討結果を報告した。この計画による2015年以後の月と火星の開発利用シナリオについての検討結果の概略は次の通りである。(1)有人月面拠点の建設:5人程度が14日間程度滞在するものとする、(2)軌道上システムの建設:宇宙ステーションの有人機能と軌道上サービスシステムで開発される無人サービス機能を結合して軌道上サービスセンターを構築する、(3)静止軌道プラットフォームの建設:在来型の静止軌道衛星をプラットフォーム化し、永続的に使用する、(4)輸送系の開発:貨物および有人の低高度地球周回軌道機(LEO貨物、LEO有人)と貨物および有人の軌道間輸送機(OTV貨物、OTV有人)の開発が必要である、(5)火星探査:軌道上サービスセンターを用いて火星サンプルリターン機を構築する。
