教科の理解は、本質をつかんだ理解,共感しながら得た知識,歴史的・文化的な背景を理解した上での幅広い知識のつながりを得ることが大切である。そのためには,ねらいを持った観察や体験を準備すること,科学理論が発表された当時の歴史的・文化的背景を知ること,科学史を活用すること,生活へ応用されていることを具体的に知ること等と同時に,楽しい・おもしろい・きれいなどの感情を大切にした授業の実施について配慮する必要がある。そのためにも,教師の幅広い研修や教材開発が必要である。

2020 年度、新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大の影響で多くの大学がオンライン授業に移行し、所属大学の日本語教育プログラムにおいても春学期と秋学期の授業が全面的にオンラインで行われ、LMS(Learning Management System)とオンライン会議システム(Zoom)による双方向授業を組み合わせて教育活動を行った。これまで、日本語教育におけるこれら二つを組み合わせた授業の詳細の分析はまだ十分にはなされていない。地理的な境界線を越えて実施することができるオンライン教育はコロナ収束後も発展していくことが予想されており、この実践を一過性のものとしてとらえるのではなく、実践を記録し、その効果や問題点を発信していくことが今後の言語教育の発展のために重要である。こうした点を踏まえて、本稿では、日本語教育プログラムにおいて実施した Zoom による双方向授業と LMS(Google Classroom)を組み合わせたオンライン教育の実施状況を記述し、レベル別、技能別の教育におけるオンライン教育のメリットと課題を分析した。

田辺三菱製薬のルーツをたどると,1678年(延宝6年)初代田辺屋五兵衛が,大坂土佐堀で独立開業し,「田辺屋振出薬」を製造販売したことから始まる.300年をゆうに超える,日本はおろか世界でも屈指の老舗製薬企業である.しかし,さらに遡ると,その祖父・田辺屋又左衛門は,1604年に朱印船でルソンや東南アジア諸国と交易して様々な薬種を輸入していたというから,薬にかかわる実に長い歴史を有している.

潮汐現象は高校地学で学習する身近な自然現象の一つである。高校地学の教科書では、潮汐は次のように説明されている。①潮汐は主に月の引力と地球の公転による遠心力の合力によって起こる、②月に面した側とその反対側で満潮となる。③満月と新月の時に干満差が最大になる(大潮)。④満潮と干潮は一日にほぼ2回起こる。このうち満潮と干潮の時刻については、問題があるのである。満月の日に月が南中するのは真夜中の 0 時である。したがって、①が正しいならば、大潮の日の満潮は真夜中と真昼に起こらなければならない。ところが、実際には朝と夕方に満潮となり説明と矛盾している。この矛盾は、潮汐の波の速度(約 200 ㎞/s)が地表面に対する月の移動速度(約 470 ㎞/s)に比べてはるかに遅く、月の動きについて行けないことが原因である。本研究では、潮汐を単振動モデルで表し、月の引力の変動に対する海水の運動を力学的に考察して、月の運動に対して潮汐波の位相が 180 °のときに周期的に安定した運動になると考えれば、この矛盾を説明できることが明らかになった。

本研究の目的は,青年期における母親に対する感謝の心理状態について明らかにすることである。そのため,母親に感謝しているときに感じる気持ちと,自分が苦労しているのは母親のせいだと感じる気持ちを合わせて検討した。中学生,高校生,大学生の585名に質問紙調査を実施した結果,次の3点が示された。(1)母親に感謝しているときに感じる気持ちとして,援助してくれることへのうれしさ,産み育ててくれたことへのありがたさ,負担をかけたことへのすまなさ,今の生活をしていられるのは母親のおかげだと感じる気持ちという4種類の気持ちが抽出された。(2)援助してくれることへのうれしさ,産み育ててくれたことへのありがたさ,今の生活をしていられるのは母親のおかげだと感じる気持ちは,青年期のどの時期でも感じられていた。(3)青年期における母親に対する感謝には,自分が苦労しているのは母親のせいだと感じる傾向がみられる要求的な心理状態から,負担をかけてすまないと感じる自責的な心理状態が現れ,そして負担をかけたことへのすまなさと自分が苦労しているのは母親のせいだと感じる傾向が小さくなる充足的な心理状態が現れるという変化の順序性がみられた。

We recommend performing a top-down physiotherapy evaluation rather than a bottom-up evaluation. During an assessment, it is desirable to detect problems at the impairment level and narrow them down to one problem in terms of order and relevance. By intervention for narrowed-down problems and re-evaluation of changes, a clearer physical therapy can be developed. In this study, we introduce abnormal postures and movements that are characteristics of patients with musculoskeletal diseases involving lumbar and hip joint impairment. Furthermore, we present one problem focusing on muscle weakness and decreased muscle tone as the possible underlying cause of impairment. We explain intervention methods for this impairment using kinematic and anatomical viewpoints and electromyography.

This study aimed to clarify the relations between awareness of and attitude toward parental aging from late adolescence to early adulthood in Japan. An online survey was conducted with 800 participants aged 20-39 years, and the data were analyzed by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Awareness of “decline in parents’ activity” and “parents’ psychological maturation” were extracted for awareness of parental aging. Four attitudes toward parental aging were extracted: “caring about aging parents,” “sadness about parental aging,” “anxiety over parents’ old age,” and “generativity evoked by parental aging.” Structural equation modeling revealed that awareness of decline in parents’ activity was positively associated with sadness about paternal aging as well as anxiety over parents’ old age. Awareness of parents’ psychological maturation was positively associated with generativity evoked by parental aging. Additionally, awareness of parents’ psychological maturation was positively associated with caring about aging parents, except for women in their 20s and 30s regarding their fathers and mothers, respectively. These associations differed according to the type of parent-child relationship and the child’s age group.

In the clinical field, we have provided physical therapy for cases presenting with Trendelenburg sign on walking caused by reduced muscle strength of the abductor muscle group of the hip joint on the weighted side. The Trendelenburg sign can occur in the early stage or after the middle stage of the stance phase, showing various patterns. In this study, we focused on the relationship between Trendelenburg sign occurring in the early stage or after the middle stage of the stance phase and the abductor muscle group of the hip joint on the weighted side. The subjects were asked to flex their hip joint and bend the body forward with 95% of the body weight loaded on one side of the body in an upright position, and remain in this position with the angle from the initial position at 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 degrees. We evaluated the influence of changes in the angle of the hip joint on integration values of electromyograms of the abductor muscle group of the hip joint (the tensor fascia lata muscle, gluteus medius muscle, and superior part of the gluteus maximus muscle) on the weighted side, using surface electromyograms. As a result, the relative integration value of the electromyograms of the tensor fasciae lata muscle and gluteus medius muscle on the weighted side significantly decreased as the angle of the hip joint increased. On the other hand, the relative integration value of electromyograms of superior part of the gluteus maximus muscle on the weighted side significantly elevated as the angle of the hip joint increased. The hip joint on the weighted side underwent flexion, and was subjected to an abduction force, as the angle of hip joint changed when one of the lower extremities was loaded. It was considered that superior part of the gluteus maximus muscle, which also belongs to the extensor muscle group of the hip joint, was primarily involved as a braking force. The results of this study suggest that the evaluation and treatment of superior part of the gluteus maximus muscle is important in controlling the dropping of the pelvis toward the non-weighted side (adduction of the hip joint of the standing leg) and its anterior inclination (flexion of the hip joint of the standing leg) in cases presenting with Trendelenburg sign.

名鉄名古屋駅から犬山線,犬山駅からは広見線に乗り継いで新可児まで行き,そこからさらに御嵩行ワンマン列車に乗り込み,のどかな田園風景に見とれていると間もなく明智駅に到着した.無人駅のため運転手さんに切符を手渡して下車し,ちょうど駅前に停車しているバスに乗り込んだ.バスはこの先の名鉄八百津線が2001年に廃線となったため,代替として運行されている.ここまで来るとすっかり小旅行の気分になってしまっているが,弾む気持ちをおさえながら元役場前にて下車した.

This study aimed to clarify undergraduate students' styles of sharing with close friends at their university. Participants were 972 undergraduate students who responded to a 75-item questionnaire relating to styles of sharing, satisfaction, and depth of relationship with university friends (acquaintances, good friends, or best friends). The results were as follows. (1) Six styles of sharing with friends were identified: sharing relationships, places, feelings, intentions, items, and sensitivity. (2) Scores for all six styles of sharing were higher in the order of best friends, good friends, and acquaintances. (3) Irrespective of level of intimacy, sharing in relationships increased satisfaction and depth of relations. On the other hand, sharing worries or negative feelings decreased satisfaction with all three types of friends, but stimulated deeper relations with both good and best friends. In addition, sharing items decreased satisfaction with good friends and depth of relations with best friends. Results show that close friendships among undergraduate students involving sharing relationships, places, feelings, intentions, and sensitivity was based on psychological bonds, and such sharing might decrease satisfaction but deepen relations with close friends.

本研究の目的は,有酸素運動が実施困難な糖尿病患者に対し実施可能,かつ糖代謝改善に有効な理学療法(物理療法)を検討することであり,その基礎的研究として,健常成人の安静時・神経筋電気刺激後の血糖値およびインスリン値を比較検討することである。対象は健常成人20名とした。方法は連続した2日間にて安静時・神経筋電気刺激時の2条件において75gのブドウ糖を経口摂取し糖負荷後0分・30分・60分・90分・120分時の血糖値・インスリン値を測定した。結果より神経筋電気刺激群は糖負荷後30分時の血糖値・60分時のインスリン値が安静群と比較し有意に低下しており,神経筋電気刺激による血糖上昇抑制効果が認められた。本研究結果より健常人において神経筋電気刺激により血糖上昇抑制効果が期待できることが示された。今後,糖尿病患者において有効性を検討する必要がある。

Distigmine bromide is an anticholinesterase used to treat urinary retention. We describe a case of decreased serum cholinesterase caused by a usual oral dose of distigmine bromide for urinary retention. An 84-year-old man, who had been received chemotherapy for carcinoma of the lower gingiva, suddenly decreased serum cholinesterase to 21 IU/L in 7 days of administration of distigmine bromide 5mg without clinical symptoms. Serum cholinesterase improved after stopping the administration of distigmine bromide. This case shows that oral surgeons should be aware of the possibility of decreased serum cholinesterase in patients taking distigmine bromide.

合成ポリアミドと天然ポリアミドの熱分解機構の相違と有毒ガス(-酸化炭素,シアン化水素)の発生との関連性を明らかにするため,ナイPtン6,ジスルフィド橋かけナイロン6,ナイロン6,6,絹および羊毛を試料として,ヘリウム気流中,真空中におけるTG, DTA測定およびGC, IR, MSを用いた熱分解生成物の分析を行なった。合成ポリアミドでは320~350。Cで分解が開始し, TG曲線が1段階となった。ナイロン6ではε-カプロラクタムを生じる解重合反応が主反応となり,シアン化水素は生成せず-酸化炭素もごく微量しか生成しなかった。ナイロン6にジスルフィド橋かけを施すとS-S結合の切断が分解開始点となり,同時に主鎖のN位がラジカル化されて解重合されやすくなることがわかった。また,ナイロン6,6ではアミド結合の加水分解にともない末端の脱炭酸および脱アンモニア反応が起きて主生成物は二酸化炭素,水,アンモニアであった。一方,絹および羊毛では分解開始温度は200~250。Cで合成ポリアミドにくらべ低く,二酸化炭素,水,アンモニアが熱分解主生成物であった。さらに容易に橋かけ反応が進行してTG曲線が3段階となり,その過程でシアン化水素,-酸化炭素が合成ポリアミドとくらべ多く発生することがわかった。

道修町,難読地名である.不勉強な筆者は薬に関わる仕事に就いてからこの町を「どしょうまち」と呼ぶことを知った.調べてみると,昔は「どうしゅまち」と呼ばれていたのが,訛って「どしょうまち」になったようである.その源は,古くはこのあたりは道修谷と呼ばれていた,北山道修という医師が居て門前に薬屋が集まってきたなど諸説ある.

本稿の目的は,2019年7月―2020年6月までの1年間に国内で刊行された国内学会誌5誌と2020年9月にオンラインで開催された日本教育心理学会第62回総会で発表された青年期から成人期,老年期までの発表を概観し,その現状と課題を明らかにすることである。中学生,高校生,大学生他,青年期の複数時期,成人期以降,多世代の発達時期について,自己,対人関係,学習,キャリア発達,生活という5つの研究領域に関する観点から分類し,研究内容の概要と動向をまとめた。分析の結果,青年期以降の発達研究は,高校生の研究は少ないが,研究対象の発達時期,領域,方法は多様であり,生涯発達に関する知見が着実に蓄積されていると考えられた。研究対象の偏り,研究方法の発展,研究成果の理解という問題について,オープンサイエンスに基づくデータの共有,マクロレベルとミクロレベルの多水準の時間単位の接続,発達観の明示に伴う科学コミュニケーションの必要性と可能性を論じた。これらの展開をとおして,発達研究が一人ひとりの多様な発達の理解に貢献することが期待できる。
