近江八幡の都市としての発展は,1585年に近江43万石の領主となった豊臣秀次が旧安土城下の施設や町民を移し,城下町を開いたことに始まるといわれる.楽市楽座や,城下の堀を琵琶湖とつないで商船を町の内部にまで寄港できる普請をはじめとする商業政策により,わずか5年の在任中に自由商業都市としての近江八幡の堅固な基盤を築いた.領主としての構想力や行政手腕は相当なものであったに違いない.

東海道線小田原駅に降り立つと,駅舎に掲げられた大きな小田原提灯の出迎えを受けた.小田原は天下の巨城で名高いが,江戸時代,品川から数えて9番目の東海道の宿場町として栄えた土地でもある.目指す済生堂薬局は旧街道(現在の国道1号線)に面した中宿町にあり,当時は脇本陣や10軒を超える旅籠があったという.駅の喧騒を抜け,落ち着いた佇まいの堀端を春風にそよぐ柳を眺めながら歩き,20分ほどで目指す済生堂薬局に到着した.

The purpose of the present study was to survey the use of antibacterial agents at 18 private dental college or university hospitals in Japan, as performed approximately every 10 years since 1983, and to identify the diseases treated with these medicines for longer than eight days at these dental hospitals. We first calculated the amount of antibacterial agents prescribed in October 2013. For internal and external preparations, almost all antibiotics comprised cephems (68%, 64%), penicillins (23%, 25%) and macrolides (7%, 8%), with values expressed in terms of percentage for outpatient and inpatient treatments, respectively, and these values were similar to previous surveys. The ratio of internal and external preparations was nearly six-fold higher when compared with injections. About 70% of oral cephems administrated to both outpatients and inpatients was cefcapene pivoxil hydrochloride. In contrast, the antibacterial injection administered to inpatients was primarily cefazolin sodium and that to outpatients was primarily ceftriaxone sodium hydrate. The ratio of carbapenems was less than 1%. Among the antibacterial agents administered for longer than eight days, clarithromycin was mainly used for the treatment of odontogenic chronic sinusitis. Our study suggested that clarithromycin was used appropriately in long-term treatment for chronic diseases. However, we found that a limited variety of oral cephems were heavily used for short-time administration, which might lead to the emergence of resistant bacteria. Pharmacist information and advice may be helpful for dentists to avoid it because proper pharmaceutical management of antibacterial agents is essential for the prevention of resistant bacteria.

戸越銀座を歩き、星薬科大学へと向かう。正門を入ってすぐ右手の建物の1階に資料館があった。本資料館には、創立者星一ゆかりの資料を中心に、本学にかかわる多様な歴史資料が展示されている。星薬科大学の歴史を辿ると、明治44(1911)年、星製薬株式会社が創立された際、社内に設置された教育部に遡る。会社創立と同時に教育部門を設けることは珍しいと思われるが、これは、建学の精神である「世界に奉仕する人材育成の揺籃である」に由来するのであろう。この根底には、座右の銘である「親切第一」 -「親切第一を主義として、自己に親切なれ、何人にも親切なれ、物品に親切なれ、時間に親切なれ、学問に親切なれ、金銭に親切なれ、親切は平和なり、繁栄なり、向上なり、親切の前には敵なし、親切は世界を征服す」の信念が礎となっている。ちなみに、星薬科大学と聞くと、つい創立者の長男である作家星新一を頭に浮かべてしまうが、本名は親一で、この言葉から名づけられたという。さらに余談を述べると、次男は協力第一の銘から、協一と名づけられたらしい。

The purpose of this study was to illustrate the actions of the gluteus maximus (GM), medial hamstrings (MH), and lateral hamstrings (LH) during forward-reaching in a sitting position using electromyography (EMG). We found that as the distance of forward-reaching increased, EMG activity of the GM, MH, and LH muscles increased to maintain forward-bending of the trunk. In addition, lower GM activation increased at a shorter reaching distance than the upper GM. From the analysis of posture during this task, we also found that the distance covered during forward-reaching was increased by up to 15 cm mainly through flexion of the thoracic spine. This mechanism enhances the distance of forward-reaching achieved by flexion of the hip joint, but extension of the lumbar spine. From these results, we suggest that forward reaching is not simply caused by flexion of the hip joint and that each fiber of GM, MH, and LH muscles has a different function in the sequence of activities that leads to a change in posture.

本研究では、地域に密着した経営を行う企業が成長していくために必要な要因について明らかにすることを目的としている。そのために北海道札幌の代表的な菓子メーカーである「(株)きのとや」を事例として取り上げている。そしてこの企業の成長プロセスをいくつかの時期に分け、経営戦略の様々な視点から分析を行っている。この企業は創業時より、店舗の立地上の不利益や限定された販売エリア、厳しい競争環境といった様々な困難に直面してきた。しかし、この企業は、成長過程のそれぞれの時期において、戦略上の対応を変えることで成長を続けてきた。企業の成長の過程では、戦略ポジショニングの変更と製品開発を行うとともに、戦略ポジショニングを支える組織能力の構築がすすめられていた。このように、本研究は、企業がいかにしてこうした直面する問題を克服してきたかについて明らかにするものである。

本研究では,性教育の分野で有効とされるピアエデュケーションを,「子どものいじめ自殺」を主題に,大学1年生160名に実施した。「子どものいじめ自殺」に関する大学生の意識と授業の感想を分析した結果,次の3点が示された。(1)いじめの被害経験,加害経験がある者は,どちらも全体の約3分の1程であった。さらに,被害経験がある者は被害経験がない者よりも,加害経験のある割合が高い。(2)ピアエデュケーション形式の授業によって,学生はテーマをより身近に感じて考えを深められると共に,ピアエデュケーターの学習も深まり,授業を行うことで自信をもつことができる。ピアエデュケーション形式の授業は,双方にとって成長を促進するするきっかけとなる。(3)「いじめ」に関する体験を語ることには意義があり,特に「いじめ自殺」は友人関係の中で生じる問題であるがゆえに,ピアエデュケーションを通して友人間でその問題を共有することには意義がある。

Psychological functions of sharing among junior high school friends were examined and the relationship between shared objects and psychological functions of sharing was investigated. Participants were junior high school students (N=1068). The result of factor analyzing items on psychological functions of sharing indicated the following six factors: "motivation", "increased pleasure", "friendly evaluation from others", "increased feeling of burden", "achievement evaluation from others", and "increased negative evaluations from others." Descriptions of objects shared with friends were classified into eight categories and psychological function of sharing scores was compared for the most important shared object. Result indicated the following; 1) "psychological sharing" such as "feelings" and "goals" had positive functions. 2) "Material sharing" such as "things" did not have either a positive or negative functions. 3) "Behavioral sharing" such as "chatting" and "school activities" had negative functions. These results suggest that friendships that included "psychological sharing" increased "motivation" and "pleasure" in junior high school students, and was deeper than friendships based on "behavioral sharing" and "material sharing".

The purpose of this study was to clarify the process by which attachment to the team and attachment to the community are related among core fans of Fighters. An interview and written questionnaire surveys were conducted among the fans, and Kinoshita’s (2020) modified grounded theory approach (M-GTA) was used to analyze their responses. As a result, two findings were obtained: First, there was a process by which local residents’ attachment to the community provided them an impetus to become core fans of the team and enhanced their team attachment. Second, there was a process by which the Fighters has become a symbol of the local community, leading to the increase in fans’ attachment to the team. These results point to the importance of enhancing the reputation of the team among local residents in the management practices of a professional sports team and suggest that building good relationships with the media and the team’s community contribution activities may be necessary to enhance local residents’ attachment to the team.

〔目的〕端座位での側方体重移動時における骨盤の側方傾斜と移動側股関節外転筋群の関連を明確にするため,一側殿部への荷重量がこれらの筋の筋電図積分値に及ぼす影響を検討することとした.〔対象〕健常男性16名(平均年齢27.1 ± 6.6歳)とした.〔方法〕端座位より一側殿部の荷重量の総荷重量に対する比率を変化させて,移動側中殿筋・大腿筋膜張筋・大殿筋上部線維の筋電図を測定し,各筋の課題間での筋電図積分値相対値を比較した.〔結果〕筋電図積分値相対値はすべての筋で荷重量85%まで有意に増加した.中殿筋と大腿筋膜張筋では荷重量90%以上で有意に減少した.〔結語〕端座位での側方体重移動に伴う骨盤の側方傾斜を促すには移動側股関節外転筋群の関与が重要である.

<B>目的</B>:本研究の目的は, 身体障害者手帳を有する成人先天性心疾患患者を対象に,(1)社会的自立度と心理的側面との関連,(2)社会生活上の不安・困難・要望を明らかにすることである. <BR><B>方法</B>:全国心臓病の子どもを守る会が実施したアンケート調査結果のうち, 身体障害者手帳を有する15歳以上の患者143名分のデータを分析した. 社会的自立を表す指標として就労状況, 年収, 障害年金受給状況を尋ね, 心理的側面を表す指標として経済的苦痛, 精神的苦痛を尋ねた. さらに, 生活上の困難・不安・要望について自由記述にて回答を得た. <BR><B>結果</B>:対象者になった143名(年齢15~73歳, 中央値=24歳;男66名, 女71名, 不明6名)のうち, 身体障害者手帳1級を有する者は95名(66%), 就労者は59名(41%;このうち年収200万円以下が58%)であった. 患者の経済的苦痛には, 手術歴があること, 通院頻度の高さ, 世帯総収入の低さ, 本人の年収の低さ, 障害年金受給が, 精神的苦痛には, 通院頻度の高さ, 仕事への不満足がそれぞれ有意に関連していた. 自由記述では, 「周囲の理解が得られない(57名が言及)」「年金制度を充実させてほしい(38名)」「医療費に対する助成を充実させてほしい(37名)」「就労支援・雇用拡大が必要(25名)」といった意見が聞かれた. <BR><B>結論</B>:身体障害者手帳を有する成人先天性心疾患患者の収入は総じて低く, 経済的問題と就労環境が, 患者に心理的苦痛を及ぼすと推察された. 就労支援体制の整備と所得保障を含めた福祉制度の充実が急務である.

体育の「跳び箱運動」で,教師がどの程度実技を提示できるかを調査し,高学年の種目において,動画コンテンツの有用性について検討した.また,動画コンテンツを活用した授業実践を進め,子どもの意識調査や習熟状況を分析し,動画コンテンツを活用した場合の学習効果について検討し,自ら課題を明確にさせる上で学習効果があることを明らかにした.また,動画コンテンツを用いた学習は早い段階でさせた方がいいことを示した.

潮汐現象は高校地学で学習する身近な自然現象の一つである。高校地学の教科書では、潮汐は次のように説明されている。①潮汐は主に月の引力と地球の公転による遠心力の合力によって起こる、②月に面した側とその反対側で満潮となる。③満月と新月の時に干満差が最大になる(大潮)。④満潮と干潮は一日にほぼ2回起こる。このうち満潮と干潮の時刻については、問題があるのである。満月の日に月が南中するのは真夜中の 0 時である。したがって、①が正しいならば、大潮の日の満潮は真夜中と真昼に起こらなければならない。ところが、実際には朝と夕方に満潮となり説明と矛盾している。この矛盾は、潮汐の波の速度(約 200 ㎞/s)が地表面に対する月の移動速度(約 470 ㎞/s)に比べてはるかに遅く、月の動きについて行けないことが原因である。本研究では、潮汐を単振動モデルで表し、月の引力の変動に対する海水の運動を力学的に考察して、月の運動に対して潮汐波の位相が 180 °のときに周期的に安定した運動になると考えれば、この矛盾を説明できることが明らかになった。

Lateral movement in the sitting position is a task which is used in evaluation and treatment in clinical practice. Also lateral movement in the sitting position can be seen in many activities of daily living. However, patients with dysfunction of the hip muscles have more difficulty performing lateral movement in the sitting position than healthy person, because, they cannot raise the opposite side buttock from the weight-bearing surface. To do lateral movement in the sitting position is reported to require lateral tilt of the pelvis. The trunk is displaced to the moving side by this lateral tilt of the pelvis. Furthermore, lateral movement in the sitting position requires muscle activity of the hip muscles that hold the lateral tilt position of the pelvis. Lateral tilt of the pelvis in lateral movement in the sitting position is a movement of the hip joint. TO promote smooth lateral movement in the sitting position, it is necessary to know the kinematics of the hip joint. However, the kinematics of the hip joint are different between sitting and standing postures. For this reason, interpretation of the kinematics of the hip joint is difficult in lateral movement in the sitting position. In this paper, we measured COP, and surface EMG of the hip girdle muscles during lateral movement in the sitting position following the procedures of a previous study, and carried out a video analysis of the displacement of the pelvis. We also examined the factors involved in successful lateral tilt of the pelvis in lateral movement in the sitting position.

The authors use top-down evaluation to determine impairments and perform physical therapy regardless of musculoskeletal or central nervous system disorders. One of the abnormal postures in patients with musculoskeletal disorders is a hunched posture with trunk flexion. In addition to the influence of the trunk, hunched posture tends to become more prominent with the influence of the lower limbs, lifestyle, and aging,. In this paper, we explain how to weigh the relevance of the problems considering the effects of not only the trunk but also the lower limbs, when considering the problems of trunk flexion posture in musculoskeletal disorders. In addition, we also explain the main points for performing examinations and physical therapy for problems of the trunk, while presenting posture and motion analysis of cases and electromyogram data of healthy subjects.

We conducted physical therapy for a patient who experienced pain in the right gluteal and lateral femoral regions during walking following right hip replacement. Pain appeared due to flexion, adduction, and internal rotation of the right hip joint accompanied by exaggerated anterior inclination and right rotation of the pelvis on right heel contact through to right mid-stance. Physical therapy was conducted for the limited range of right hip joint motion and muscle weakness around this joint, which was assumed to be the cause of the abnormal gait and pain. Following this, standing step practice (Physical Therapy A) was conduced. After 6 weeks of Physical Therapy A, the limited range of right hip joint motion and muscle weakness around the joint had improved; however, the gait and pain had not improved. Thus, the therapy was re-evaluated, and bridge exercise was added to Physical Therapy A (Physical Therapy B). Physical Therapy B enabled induction of muscle activity and contractile patterns similar to those occurring during walking with respect to the muscle activity around the right hip joint that is necessary for right heel contact through to right mid-stance. A single session of Physical Therapy B improved the gait and reduced pain. Therefore, we concluded that the promotion of complex muscle activity, not in a single direction, and improvement of the muscle strength and contractile pattern are necessary in physical therapy for problematic muscle weakness.

本研究では、介護事業サービスを提供する企業が安定した経営を行うために、現在直面する問題を解決することを目的としている。その中で、ここでは介護事業所が利用者をいかにして確保するかに着目した。調査では、主にデイサービスや訪問介護サービスを提供している東京都内の介護事業所の利用者を対象に、インタビュー調査を実施した。それによると利用者は第三者評価などの公開された情報を利用して、介護事業所の選択を行っているのではなく、ケアマネージャーや知り合いによる紹介によって事業所を選択していることが明らかとなった。介護保険制度が導入された当初、利用者の自由意思に基づく選択が行われるとみられていたが、実はそうではないことがわかる。そこで本研究では、利用者確保のために、介護事業所がどのような対策をとるべきかを考える。The purpose of this research is to solve the problems currently faced by public nursing-care service providers for their stable business operation. In the interview survey, it gave most attention to service users of day-care service and attendant service providers in Tokyo area. The result shows that those users did not choose the providers by utilizing the open information which is guaranteed by the third-party evaluation, but often times being introduced by care-managers or acquaintances. When nursing-care insurance system was launched, it was estimated that choice of the service becomes free contract, but the result shows to the contrary. Based on this finding, this paper considers the measures to be taken by public nursing-care service providers to attract service users by understanding customer needs and effective marketing activities.
