人々の心のケアを担う心理臨床家は、人々と同様に様々なストレスにさらされている。特に「二次的外傷性ストレス」は大きなリスクであり、十分注意を払わねばならない。しかし、そのリスクについてはあまり周知されていないばかりか、心理臨床家としてのあるべき姿によって、自らの心身を保つセルフケアが重視されていないことが懸念される。本稿はこのような心理臨床家の負担となっている疲労やストレス、それらに対して有用な方法に関する文献を概観する。そして、臨床上のストレス、臨床家としての研鑽活動、それらが私生活に与える影響によって負担となることについて考察する。心理臨床家の間で経験的におこなわれてきた「仲間に話す」ということが孤立を防ぐという観点でも有効なセルフケアとして機能していると考えられる。

症例は23歳女性.38℃台の発熱・倦怠感・嘔気・関節痛が出現したため,当院救急外来を受診した.インフルエンザ迅速診断キットでインフルエンザA型陽性のためインフルエンザウイルス感染症と診断された.また,血液検査ではトランスアミナーゼの著明な上昇とPTの低下を認め,急性肝炎重症型の診断で当科に緊急入院した.与芝らの劇症化予知式により劇症化の可能性があると判断し,劇症肝炎に準じて血漿交換療法・ステロイドパルス療法を施行した.第2病日よりトランスアミナーゼ・PTの改善を認め,第12病日退院した.肝障害の成因として薬物性肝障害の可能性は否定できなかったが,臨床経過からは新型インフルエンザ(以下A/H1N1 pdm,PCR法で診断)感染が成因である可能性も否定できなかった.A/H1N1 pdm感染による高サイトカイン血症を契機に急性肝炎重症型を発症したと考えられる1例を報告する.

In order to discuss the health effects of nanomaterials, we cannot disregard the research on the health effects of airborne particulates. It is said that many of the fine or ultrafine particles in airborne particulates originate from diesel vehicles in metropolitan areas. The results of not only animal experiments but many epidemiologic surveys and volunteer intervention experiments in humans are reported on the health effects of particles. Although the health effects of the particulate matter particle sizes below 10 μm (PM10) were investigated in the initial studies, recently even smaller particles have come to be regarded as questionable and research of the health effects of the minute particulate matter below 2.5 μm (PM2.5) has been done. However, our recent study about maternal exposure to diesel exhaust suggests that health effect study of PM0.1, particles below 0.1 μm (100 nm), namely nanoparticles, is necessary from now on. We are proceeding with the study of the health effects of various types of intentionally produced nanomaterials such as carbon black, carbon nanotube, fullerene and titanium dioxide, examining in particular their influence on next generation. Although there are differences in the sites affected and the seriousness of the damage, basically similar findings to DEPs mentioned above are being discovered in research on nanomaterials. Regardless of dosage and administration method, such as inhalation, endotracheal administration, nasal drip and subcutaneous administration, once nanomaterials enter the bloodstream of a pregnant mother mouse, they move to the offspring and have effects on them. The effects may appear as various symptoms in the process of growth after birth, and can sometimes lead to the onset and aggravation of serious diseases.

近世初期、藤原惺窩に学んだ儒学者たちが漢学の世界を領導した。なかでも林羅山はひときわ抜きん出た存在だったと言えるが、羅山のみが屹立していたわけではない。堀杏庵(一五八五〜一六四二)も、尾張徳川家という権威と結び付き、医の要素を大きく有した点が独自で、かつ羅山ともよく連携し、この時代の漢学界を盛り立てるのに大きく貢献した。それらの点によって、杏庵にも高い評価が与えられるべきであろう。本稿では、そのような問題意識に基づき、Ⅰ仕官以前(天正十三年〜慶長十六年)、Ⅱ浅野家への仕官(慶長十六年〜元和八年)、Ⅲ尾張徳川家への仕官(元和八年〜寛永十九年)という三期に分けて、杏庵の人生を年譜形式によって概括する。特に、若い時期の医師としての修業過程や、羅山との親交、第Ⅲ期、尾張徳川家に仕官した、四十歳前後からの儒学者としての名声の高まりなどが注目に値しよう。

本稿の目的は,大学で行われた新型コロナウイルス感染症流行下の学生支援実践を報告することである。2019年度卒業式の中止を皮切りに,大学のほぼすべての活動は制限され,2020年8月現在も登校禁止の状況が続く。筆者の所属する名古屋大学学生支援センターにおいて行われた支援を,不適応を呈した学生,その家族,関係教職員を対象とした三次支援,現時点では不適応を呈していないがその可能性の高い者を対象とした二次支援,全構成員を対象とした一次支援の3つのレベルに分けて報告する。

In the case of a fire incident such as arson, the combustion experiment that reconstructed the fire scene will be conducted to clarify the facts. However, various problems such as construction costs and securing an experimental environment must be dealt with. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to utilize fire simulation for the investigation of fire incidents. In this study, combustion experiments and FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator) simulations assuming gasoline arson in the kitchen, which have not been reported so far, were conducted and compared. Next, the observation of fire damage using the accumulated heat-flux was evaluated by a newly developed analysis tool for visual evaluation. The simulation results such as burning behavior, temperature changes, and the burned away phenomenon of the door showed good agreement with those experimental results. Burning behavior in the kitchen, that couldn't be observed in the combustion experiment were grasped in detail in the simulation. Furthermore, the relationship between the fire source and the fire damage on the floor, which couldn't be explained only by the observation results after extinguishing the fire, could be reasonably explained by the visual evaluation of burning behavior and the accumulated heat-flux in the kitchen by using the simulation. Therefore, the fire simulation was shown to be an effective tool for analyzing fire phenomena.

Spectral diffuse reflectance and radiance factors of pressed polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder produced in Japan have been measured with variation of density, thickness, surface roughness, wavelength and ageing effects of the pressed powder. The 0°/d spectral diffuse reflectance was measured over 250 to 2500nm region. The radiance factors were measured at 0°and 45°incidence and at-80°to 80°viewing angles, on wavelength of 400nm, 550nm, 700nm, using an absolute goniophotometer. It has been found that, although slight ageing effects and weak fluorescence in UV region are recognized, the newly pressed powder has high reproducibility on diffuse reflectance and radiance factors under a certain range of pressing condition, and that the pressed powder will be useful for the radiance factor's standards as well as the diffuse reflectance standards.

Focusing on the effects of exercise (external focus) is considered more effective for improving motor performance than focusing on one's own physical movements (internal focus). Furthermore, it has been confirmed that imaging the movement being performed is effective for mental training. The purpose of this study was to investigate differences in performance ability among experienced athletes on the basis of their focus orientation and motor imagery of movements, with the aim of using the findings as basic data for sports coaching. The subjects comprised 16 males who had experience playing basketball. Each subject performed 30 free throws. In addition, a questionnaire survey was conducted regarding their focus orientation and motor imagery of movements (movement imagery questionnaire-revised Japanese version). The subjects were divided into a successful group, who achieved above the mean successful free-throw score, and an unsuccessful group, who achieved below the mean score. The results indicated that many subjects in the successful group used external focus, which demonstrated a correlation with the imaging ability of observed movements. These findings suggest that when coaching experienced athletes who are performing poorly, one may consider encouraging them to focus on the effects of each movement and motor imagery of observed movements to improve their performance.

江戸詩歌史を構想するに際しては、上限を一六世紀初めまで遡らせ、下限を一九世紀末まで引き下げることも十分検討に価しよう。また、最も重要な結節点は一八世紀中頃から後半にかけてにあると考えられる。つまり、江戸詩歌は上品で優雅な作品に加えて俗の要素が拡張する前半期と、日常性が台頭し、口語化、大衆化の促進する後半期に分けられるのである。そのような中、ジャンルの越境も相俟って、和漢や雅俗の区別が曖昧になり、渾然一体となったところに、近代となって新たな対立軸の洋が生まれてくる。

The two mono-hydroxylated metabolites of 9-amino-2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8-hexahydro-1H-cyclopenta [b] quinoline monohydrochloride monohydrate (NIK-247), which is a new drug for the treatment of dementia, were synthesized to determine their chemical structures. Reduction of two tricyclic ketones, 9-amino-1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7-hexahydro-8H-cyclopenta [b] quinolin-8-one and 9-amino-2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8-hexahydro-1H-cyclopenta [b]-quinolin-1-one, with NaBH4 afforded the corresponding racemic alcohols. The optically active mono-hydroxylated metabolites, (+)-9-amino-2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8-hexahydro-1H-cyclopenta [b] quinolin-8-ol and (+)-9-amino-2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8-hexahydro-1H-cyclopenta [b] quinolin-1-ol, were obtained by optical resolution of each racemic alcohol using (+)-di-p-toluoyl-D-tartaric acid.

生物を研究材料に使うとき,その分類学的な位置は,結果の生物間の比較のためだけでなく,研究成果の評価や,権利の範囲にも影響を与える重要な要素である。生物種を常に固定された学名で呼ぶことができたら,利用者にとっては便利であろう。しかし,分類学は生物の真の類縁関係や進化の過程を追求し,新しい体系を構築してする科学である。したがって同じ生物がひとつの論文を境にして名称を一変してしまうこともあり,困惑を生むことも少なくない。分類学には真実追究の科学であると同時にもう一つの役割がある。多くの分類学者がそれぞれ勝手な学名や体系を使っていたら,それは学問に何も貢献しないばかりか,分類学者の単なる道楽として見向きもされないであろう。そこで,命名規約という共通のルールに則って分類学の成果が発表され,その分類体系は生物学者に広く理解を得るものでなければならない。本解説では,乳酸菌の分類に例を取って,国際細菌命名規約の仕組みと現在の問題点を紹介する。
