How should we (researchers) conduct and present a good review study? Although graduate students receive some guidance on how to write a research paper, they are rarely provided instruction about how to perform a review study. Due to their limited knowledge and experience, many students tend to think that a good review simply comprises reference to many previous research studies. In this paper, we point out that a good review study needs to be original, comprehensive, and easy to understand. Moreover, we offer directions for conducting a good review study, and provide key points drawn from interview data with young psychology researchers who have published review studies in peer-reviewed journals.

Hemiplegic patients often have reduced typing speed due to finger paralysis. Our motivation is to develop a keyboard that enables their typing speed to increase. For this purpose, we have developed a three-dimensional keyboard that reduces the distance that fingers move while typing. In this paper, our objective was to construct the finger model that combines the motion speed and muscle fatigue for design of keyboard that can be typed with fast motion speed and low muscle fatigue. In experiment, we measured the finger position using a magnetic 3D motion device and EMG when the participant pressed the proposed key. The experiment was carried out in a variety of the finger postures. We qualified the motion speed and muscle fatigue at each joint angle. Then, we weighted and combined two of the objective functions. We found out the Pareto solution and get an effective keyboard design straight. In the future, we verify the typing speed and finger muscle fatigue during typing the three-dimensional keyboard that is designed based on our finger model.

【背景】脳卒中発症には気温が最も影響する.発症時期については冬に多く夏に少ないとされるが一定しておらず,その理由として気象の影響の複雑さに加えて,観察期間の短さや対象数の少なさなど研究方法自体も指摘されている.【方法】全国労災病院において2002年度から2008年度に入院加療された全脳卒中症例46,031例を対象とし,脳卒中病型別に月別発症数を比較した.また気象区分から4つの地域に分けて検討した.【結果】脳出血は男女とも夏少なく冬に多発したが,北日本と西日本では最少月にひと月の差があった.くも膜下出血は女性に多く,夏少なく秋から冬に多発した.脳梗塞全体では明確な季節性は認めなかったが,ラクナおよびアテローム血栓性梗塞では夏に急増し1月に再増加という2峰性がみられ,心原性脳塞栓では冬場のみ多発した.【結論】地球環境の変化に伴い,生活環境や職場環境にも十分配慮した脳卒中予防対策が必要となる.

"The effects of temperature and aging on the performance of an A8-3 Estes model rocket engine were investigated.Thrust generated by this engine was measured using a strain gauge force sensor at different initialtemperatures (0, 25, and 35°C). Engine peak thrust and impulse were found to be increasing functions of temperature,with sensitivity coefficients of 0.022 N/K and 0.0054 Ns/K, respectively. The increase in the peak thrust isexplainable by the characteristics of pyrotechnics; however, the increase in the impulse is abnormal. This abnormalitycan be attributed to the increased exhaust gas flow from the delay charge due to the enhanced burning rateof the propellant. The effect of aging was also studied by conducting experiments using 1-, 5-, and 15-year-old A8-3model rocket engines. Impulse variation was small; however, there were large variations in the peak thrusts of theolder engines. These variations can be ascribed to cracks on the propellant surface caused by heat cycles duringlong-term propellant storage."

最も有名な公開鍵暗号としてRSA暗号とだ円曲線暗号があり,SSL/TLSによる暗号通信や電子政府でのディジタル署名などで広く普及している.一方で,これらの暗号は量子計算機による多項式時間の解読法が知られているため,量子計算機に耐性のある数学問題を利用したポスト量子暗号(Post-Quantum Cryptography)の研究が注目を集めている.実際,2015年8月にアメリカ国家安全性保障局NSAはポスト量子暗号への移行を表明し,2016年2月には米国標準技術研究所NISTがポスト量子暗号の標準化計画を発表している.本稿では,ポスト量子暗号の歴史と標準化計画の概要を紹介し,代表的なポスト量子暗号となる多変数多項式暗号と格子暗号の構成方法と安全性の評価方法を解説する.

源頼光とその家来である四天王が土蜘蛛を退治する説話は、様々な文芸作品として享受され展開していった。土蜘蛛は、古くは記紀神話において朝廷に服属しない一地方勢力としてその存在が語られていたが、中世になり、お伽草子の武家物というジャンルの中で新たに妖怪退治譚として再構築された。この中世における物語文脈の転換を契機として、妖怪としての土蜘蛛退治の「語り」は、テクストの枠を超えて絵画や芸能へと裾野を広げて展開したのである。本稿では、特に中近世にかけての土蜘蛛退治譚の変遷と、それを題材に制作された絵画作品がどのように受容されたかを考察する。清和源氏を出自とする源頼光とその家来である四天王らの妖怪退治譚が、軍記物語に付随する伝承として生成されやがて独立した物語として発展した背景には、中近世にかけて軍記物語の古典化と周辺説話の再編成がなされたことが密接に関連する。とりわけそれらの最たる受容者であった「武家の棟梁」将軍家周辺による「語り」の管理と継承が及ぼした影響について着目し、「武家による妖怪退治譚」に仮託された政治性を読み解きたい。The tale of how Minamoto no Yorimitsu (948-1021) and his four faithful vassals vanquished the tsuchigumo, a proud band of warriors unwilling to submit to central authority, has been adapted into various genres of both art and literature. The Kojiki (Records of ancient matters, 712) and the Nihon shoki (Chronicles of Japan, 720) preserve tales of these recalcitrant warriors, describing them as dwelling on the periphery and spurning the authority of a growing court. During the medieval period, these accounts were adopted into a new genre of warrior tales (buke mono), where the tsuchigumo warriors took on the appearance of demonic rebels. Having once entered the realm of demonic villains, these same recalcitrant warriors became, as it were, too large for the confines of mere text. These fantastic tsuchigumo were promptly appropriated into the visual and performative arts, where they took on a number of interesting guises. This paper explores some ways in which tales of the tsuchigumo warriors were transformed throughout the early modern period, and how illustrated works based on these same tales were received in contemporary literature and art. While Minamoto no Yorimitsu’s subjugation of the tsuchigumo began as but one short episode within a larger military tale, it was later elevated to the status of an independent narrative in its own right. This elevation was motivated by the canonization of military fiction, as well as the re-adaptation of related tales, which took place during the early modern period. The control and transmission of these tales was dominated, of course, by the shogunal family, the very people who most enjoyed these tales. This paper aims at probing the political significance of such tales insofar as they were simultaneously produced and consumed by the warrior class.

「エビデンス」という語は、教育政策の批判的検証の意味で用いられていた。しかし政策形成に力を及すアクターにより、「エビデンス」の語義が変化していく。この語は、政策形成に影響力あるアクターが予め設定した達成すべき「条件」の意味となる。そして、このようなアクターの意向により切り取られた「結果」を「エビデンス」とし、これを踏まえるべきと政策に条件づけをし、当該アクターの意向を反映させようとする政治性も観察される。
