近年のウェブ検索エンジンの多くはクエリ拡張機能やクエリ書き換えを備えている.これらの機能の実現にはシソーラスや同義語辞書を用いるが,人手での辞書作成はコストがかかる.そのため,ウェブ検索ログやクリックスルーログを用いた同義語獲得の研究が行われている.これまでに提案された手法では,生成モデルである Noisy Channel Model によって同義語獲得をモデル化しており,柔軟な素性設計が行えなかったため,クエリと同義語候補の表層の編集距離を素性として追加する等が難しかった.我々は,この問題に対処すべく,同義語獲得に識別モデルを用いた手法を提案する.クエリ書き換えのための同義語辞書では, 1 つのクエリに対してより適切と考えられる 1 つの同義語を登録する.そのため同義語獲得手法には,同義語候補が複数ある場合には最適な候補を 1 位に提示することが求められる.そこで提案手法では,クエリと同義語候補の表層に基づく素性を利用した ListNet を用いて 1 位正解率を直接最大化する.また,従来の識別モデルでは,有効な組合せ素性の追加等,素性エンジニアリングを行う必要があったが,我々は ListNet に隠れ層を導入することで,素性エンジニアリングなしに有効な組合せ素性の生成と重み付けを可能とした.これにより, Noisy Channel Model を用いた従来の手法に比べ,より高い精度で同義語を獲得することができた.Recent web search engines often employ query expansion and query reformulation techniques. These techniques use thesauri and synonym dictionaries, but manually making dictionary requires time and costs. Thus, automatic acquisition of synonymous expressions using web-search logs and click-through logs has been studied. One of the previous work formulates the synonym extraction problem as a generative process using the noisy channel model, but since generative models do not allow flexible feature design, it is difficult to use as features edit distance between the surface of a query and its synonym. To deal with this problem, we employed discriminative approaches for synonym extraction. When creating a synonym dictionary for query reformulation, only one synonym which better leads to appropriate search results is registered for each query. Therefore, it is required that the synonym acquisition method for query reformulation must pick an optimal entry if there are several synonym candidates. Hence we propose to maximize the 1-best accuracy using ListNet with features based on the surface of a query and its synonym to achieve the goal. Moreover, though most traditional discriminative methods require feature engineering to find efficient combinations of features, we automate this process by introducing hidden layers to the ranking function. Our proposed method outperformed previous method based on the noisy channel model in the task of synonym extraction.

「情報処理入門」では科目の総演習として学生にWordとExcelを用いたレポート作成を課している。その際、教員による操作説明はなく、教科書を見るなどして自力で作成させている。このような学生の自助努力を支援するために教科書の補助教材として、WordやExcelの操作を録画した動画コンテンツを作成しWebサイトから学生が閲覧できるようにした。なお動画コンテンツは本学情報科学センターのストリーミング型サーバdogaにアップした。本稿では、学生の閲覧状況をdogaのアクセスログから分析し、学生の操作スキルとの相関を調べ、動画コンテンツの有効性を評価した。その結果、動画コンテンツが教科書の補助教材として有効であることがわかった。As a total review of the subject "Introduction to Information Processing", the students have to make reports in Word and Excel by themselves, in other words by reading their textbooks instead of the operation explanation of the teacher. Here, we constructed websites with video contents showing how to operate Word and Excel, and let the students watch them as supplementing the textbook. In this report, we analyzed the access log of the video streaming server "doga", examined the relationship between the viewing rates and the students' operational skills, assessed the effectiveness of the video contents and found them effective in supplementing the textbook.

計算機が高性能化し,またクラウドコンピューティングが普及するにともない,オペレーティングシステム(OS)が仮想化環境で使われることが多くなっている.仮想化環境では,仮想マシン(VM)がOSを実行する.VMは仮想化環境が定義するものであるが,実機上で動作するOSをそのまま実行できる実機に相当するVM,そしてOSとVMが連携することで処理を軽量化するVMが,これまで提供されてきた.しかしながら,OSの構造,およびVMがOSに提供するインタフェースは,実機上で動作するOSのものから大きく変更されることはなかった.本論文では,VMが実行するOSの軽量化を目的とし,VMがOSに提供するインタフェースを変更するかたちでのストレージ仮想化手法について述べる.提案手法を,LinuxをホストOSとして用いるKVMに実装した.実験結果から,従来手法と比較して,提案手法はアクセスを高速化できることが分かった.As the performance of computing platforms becomes higher and cloud computing becomes popular, it is common to execute operating systems (OSes) on virtualized environments. Such virtualized environments employ a virtual machine (VM) to execute an OS. While VMs can be defined by virtualized environments, they are defined to be the same as or similar to real hardware; thus, their interface to OSes also remain mostly unchanged. This paper describes a storage virtualization method that changes the VM's storage interface in order to make guest OSes lightweight. We implemented the proposed method in KVM, which utilizes Linux as its host OS. The evaluation results show that the method can improve the data access by comparing with the existing method.

文章生成は非言語的な世界を言語記号の世界に対応付ける過程とみなされるが,この非言語的な世界をどのレベルで捉え,どのように表現するかということが問題になる.筆者らは,イソップ物語の「きつねとぶどう」を素材とし,物語・背景となっている主人公の認識・思考・行動過程を問題解決手法で捉え,それに沿って物語を生成しようと試みている.本研究の目的は,この主人公の複雑で多岐に渡る心の動きをどの様に表現し,その中から文章生成のための言語情報をいかにして抽出するかについて考察し,実際に文章生成システムを構成することにより機械処理の立場から心理的活動と自然言語の結びつきを明らかにしようとすることである.本稿では,研究の背景を概観するとともに,テキスト構造を考慮した物語情報の抽出法について述べる.

Generally, the adults can manage their own medications of prescribed drugs. However, medication assistance may be required in the elderly. The family plays a medication assistance, in home, which is afraid to be a burden on the family. In this study, we performed questionnaire survey to caregiver using our day-service center so that we study the actual situation of the medication assistance. From the result of the survey, 64% of caregivers were older than 60 years old. Sixty six percents of caregivers felt some kind of burdens for management of medicine, and 70% felt a burden for medication assistances. The multiple regression analysis showed that “the burden about management of the medicine” and “the degree of medication assistances” significantly affected a sense of the burden about medication assistances (p<0.01). In addition, from the free comment on the questionnaire, it was considered that some caregivers foster a sense of the burden about medication assistances by their strong sense of mission. From these results, it is shown that many caregivers felt a burden on medication assistance. It is suggested that the intervention of pharmacists can be reduce the burden of medication assistance.

人々の自発的な交通行動変容を促すコミュニケーション施策である「モビリティ・マネジメント」を実務的かつ広範に展開していくためには、なるべく多数の人々と、なるべく安価に接触できるようなコミュニケーション技術を検討する必要がある。この認識の下、本研究はアンケート調査の「回収率」に着目し、回収率の向上に影響を及ぼす要因について分析を行った。その結果、配布方法や報酬の提供方法によって、回収率が大きく異なることが示された。また、これらの方策に要するコストを算出することで、より効率的・効果的なアンケート回収率向上方策について検討した。

容器包装リサイクル法の施行以降、日本から中国への廃ペットボトルの大量流出が、日本国内のリサイクル市場に及ぼす影響は多々論じられてきたが、これに対応する中国の経済事情に関する分析は少ない。本稿では、過去約20年間の中国のプラスチック需要や石油価格等の経済状況の変化と、ペットボトルを含む廃プラスチックの日中間流動の変化を対応付けて分析するとともに、今後の推移についても考察を加える。

We surveyed the number and the contents of papers published in the Japanese Journal of Psychonomic Society, as well as the society's annual meetings, from 1982 to 2012. Over the course of these 30 years, we found that papers on perception increased in the first decade, followed by an increase in cognitive research, which reflected the shift of the members. Although the time of year and format of the annual meetings were not fixed, a review of the roster showed that greater participation was seen when the meetings were held in fall or winter and/or if they were joint meetings with other societies. The results would contribute to a better management of the society.

堺大濱では,明治期半ば以降,堺市や阪堺電気軌道株式会社によって公園地経営が進められた.本研究では堺市会決議録・会議録や行政資料,大阪毎日新聞堺周報等の資料をもとに,堺市大濱公園における管理と経営の変遷と,作り出された海浜リゾート空間の形成過程を明らかにした.具体的には,堺市による官有地を借り受けての料理屋・茶店営業を主とした遊園地経営,内国勧業博覧会を契機とする水族館と西洋式広場の整備,堺市の財源不足や鉄道会社間の競合関係を背景とした阪堺電気軌道の公園経営への参画と公会堂や潮湯などの文化・娯楽施設の整備,市と阪堺電気軌道の考えの相違による契約解消,といった公園地経営の経緯を明らかにし,海浜リゾートとしての空間形成の実態を明らかにした.

世界では,いまだHIV感染の予防とHIV治療へのアクセスが十分でないことから,毎日,6,800人がHIVに新たに感染し,5,700人がAIDSにより死亡している.わが国においても,男性同性愛者や滞日外国人などHIV感染対策が脆弱な層においてHIV感染症が広がっており,これらの層に対するHIVや性感染症の情報の入手が容易となる環境,HIV感染リスクやそれに伴う相談,検査,医療などの支援環境を構築する対策が必要である.HIV感染症は,未だ公衆衛生上重大な課題である.
