外国人被疑者・被告人の捜査および公判に関し,従前往々にしてとりあげられてきた問題として,司法通訳が存する。本稿においては,司法通訳に関して,漢語方言が焦点となった判例および事件処理の実例を主たる素材とし,これらと学説や他の言語が焦点となった判例等との比較を通じて,被疑者・被告人の言語運用能力がいかに認定され,かつ,通訳を付すべき言語がいかに選択されるかという点に対し,社会言語学的視座から検討をくわえた。その結果,個々の事例の問題点を抽出するとともに,言語運用能力を認定するための明確な基準・方法が確立されているということはできず,また,通訳を必要とする言語運用能力の水準も一律でないという結論を導出した。さらに,司法通訳を付す言語に関しては,それが当該被疑者・被告人の第一言語でない場合にあっては,各国・各地域の言語の多様性やその使用状況の複雑性に起因する諸点に留意すべきことにも論及した。

症例は21歳,女性.不明熱のため各種精査を行うも原因を同定できず.骨病変精査目的で施行したFDG-PET/CTにて大動脈弓部に異常集積を認め,早期の高安動脈炎と診断した.狭窄閉塞,拡張病変が明らかでない早期高安動脈炎の早期診断は現在のガイドラインでは困難である.しかし高安動脈炎は若年女性に好発し,重篤な心血管合併症が生じることからFDG-PET/CTによる早期診断が重要と考え報告する.

小腸ポリープ107個中2個に悪性化を認めた Peutz-Jeghers 症候群 (以下, PJ 症候群) の1例を経験したので報告する. 症例は25歳の男性. 7歳時, 口唇指趾の色素沈着と直腸ポリープを認め PJ 症候群と診断された. 1990年7月4日腸重積発作を起こし, 緊急開腹術を施行し小腸のほぼ全長にわたるポリープの存在を確認した. 1991年2月19日開腹下内視鏡的ポリープ切除術を施行した. 小腸の2箇所より内視鏡を挿入し径約 5 mm 以上のポリープ107個すべてを摘出した (このうち1個のみ小腸切開下に摘出). 組織学的にその大部分は Peutz-Jeghers Polyp の典型像を呈していたが, 内2個 (径26mm, 7mm) の表層に一部癌化を認めた. PJ 症候群は悪性化の危険性を有する. 自験例からポリープの径にかかわらず予防的にすべてのポリープを摘出すべきであることが示唆された. 摘出には開腹下内視鏡的ポリープ切除術が有用であった.

This report describes investigation and analysis of an old category II exclusive residential district and land use pattern of residential district. Even within the same use district, the land use pattern could differ greatly depending on the height and bulk zoning and relationship with stations. Also, with respect to the strip zoning system district, number of storeys of building and ratio of fireproof buildings tend to be higher, though the values there of could differ depending on contents of height and bulk zoning and district conditions.

The price of patents is limited by four sides of business management: (1) avoiding costs of the patent in question; (2) founders profit of inventors, such as researchers and engineers, to bear risks involved in business establishment; (3) factors supporting competitive advantage identified in the resource-based view of strategic management; and (4) negative impact of big money for the researchers invention. This tetragon of limitations bounds the price range of patents. This is illustrated by exemplifying the blue LED lawsuit case in Japan. This study presents the four side views on the differences between what companies pursue and what employee inventors pursue. However, these various differences make it possible to coexist and co-prosper between companies and inventors, otherwise they continue the tug-of-war forever on the one-dimensional monetary scale.

海鳥散布プロセスの検証〈付着メカニズムの解明〉海鳥散布プロセスの検証の一部として、種子の付着がおこるのは巣材に種子が含まれているからではないかという可能性に注目した。海鳥が巣材として用いる植物体に種子が含まれている場合、単に繁殖地にある植物種が付着するというだけでなく、海鳥の種による巣材選好性によって散布される植物種に違いが生じると考えられる。また巣材に接している時間は長いため歩行中の接触だけでは付着しない種子も付着する可能性がある。クロアシアホウドリ、オナガミズナギドリ、アナドリ、カツオドリの巣材を分析した結果、すべての海鳥種の巣から多様な植物種の種子が検出された。特に地上繁殖種であるクロアシアホウドリとカツオドリの巣には多様な植物種の種子が含まれており、捕獲調査でこれらの種の羽毛から検出されている植物種の種子はすべて巣材に含まれていることが分かった。一方オナガミズナギドリやアナドリのような巣穴繁殖種の巣材は比較的少数種の種子しか含まれていなかった。海鳥散布プロセスの検証〈海鳥による陸地利用〉海鳥が島間移動をすることを確かめるため、父島列島および母島列島周辺の島に海鳥がとまっているかどうかを海上から観察した。その結果、特にカツオドリは頻繁に繁殖地以外の陸地を利用していることが分かった。このことは、少なくともカツオドリは頻繁に島間移動を行っており、種子を島間散布する能力があることを示している。海洋等フロラ成立過程の再検討〈付着散布可能な種子の解明〉海鳥によって付着型種子散布をされる植物種をリストアップするため追加的な捕獲調査を行った結果、昨年度までの調査では検出されなかったケツメグサやタツノツメガヤの種子が見つかった。これらの種子は非常に小さいため昨年度までの調査では見落とされていた可能性がある。1.5~2mm以下の小型種子は海鳥の付着散布に非常に適していると考えられる。

The purpose of this study was to overview and analyze ego-experience based on children's questions about themselves. Such questions as "Why am IT ?," "Why do I exist?," "Where did I come from?," and "Why was I born at this particular time rather than at a different point in time?," along with the feeling that one's appearance is strange, all were determined to reflect egoexperiences. In the first part of the study, the various "I"s were discussed grammatically, philosophically, psychologically and developmentally. Then previous studies of ego-experience were reviewed. As a result, a new aspect of " I" was suggested, and ego-experience was defined from this new aspect. Ego-experience, then, refers to questions about " I" that are independent of a person's physical and psychological identity. The three aspects of ego-experience were found to be as follows: "questions about one's existence," "questions about one's origin or situation," and "a sense of incongruity with oneself". Finally, we considered a method for examining ego-experience and the meanings of ego-experience.

A questionnaire survey was conducted annually on the meal times during the first 3 days of New Year for the period 1986-1995. A total of 1,435 questionnaires to female college students were returned during the 10-year period, and the data were subjected to a time-series analysis. The ratio of persons eating per responder on each hour were analyzed by the Bayesian smoothing method to identify meal-time trends on a yearly and daily basis. The meal time on the first day indicated 2 peaks at about 10 A.M. and 7 P.M., and on the second and the third days showed 3 peaks at 9 A.M., 12 AM. and 7 P.M. These peaks tended to become less prominent year by year. Special New Year dishes were often eaten at about 10 A.M. on the first day, indicating a different dietary habit in food type and timing from the normal daily one. By the third day, however, the meal time and food type had almost returned to the daily dietary habit. The trend over 10 years moved closer to the daily dietary habit.
