本研究では尾根部の地震時応答を明らかにするため,模型を用いた振動台実験と被害のあった尾根部での常時微動測定を行った.振動台実験の結果,最も揺れが大きくなる周波数(1次ピーク)では稜線にほぼ平行な応答となっていた.また揺れの大きい範囲は尾根稜線の変曲点付近から尾根付け根までの長さの約2/3程度まで,高さ方向には尾根稜線から尾根高さの3〜4割程度であることがわかった.しかし高周波領域では,尾根の応答は稜線に直交するように加振しているにもかかわらず,稜線上にもほとんど揺れない点が現れるなど複雑な応答となることがわかった.常時微動測定の結果,健全な地点の卓越周期は宅地の標高や石積み擁壁の高さによる違いがみられず,ほぼ一定の値となった.地震による被害が見られた宅地では,卓越周期が長周期側の値となっており,宅地が緩んだために長周期側の値となった可能性が示されたが,一部では被害の見られない宅地でも卓越周期が長周期側の値となり,宅地内部が緩んでいる可能性があることが分かった.また長周期側の値となった地点の分布は,振動台実験で1次ピークとなった時の揺れの大きい範囲とほぼ一致し,実験に用いた物性値や相似則などから推定される尾根の卓越周期は,常時微動測定により求まった卓越周期と一致した.現場付近の花崗岩のせん断波速度などを用いた4質点系解析の結果,尾根上部では加速度が約1.8〜2.0倍に増幅されていた可能性があることが分かった.常時微動計を用いたアレー観測の結果,卓越周期時には尾根下部の振幅に比べ,上部では5倍程度の振幅となっていたことがわかった.以上から,地震時に尾根が共振したために尾根上部の揺れが大きくなり,尾根上部に被害が集中した可能性があることが分かった.また本研究から常時微動測定により宅地の緩みを評価できる可能性があることがわかった.

高付加価値化・差別化できる絹の新素材開発を目的として, 極細繊度蚕品種「中514号×中515号, 愛称: はくぎん」を育成した。中514号は2化, 広食性の斑紋限性品種であり, 繊度は1.8~1.9dである。中515号は1化性で繊度は1.5d以下になる。また, 両原種とも支25号の血縁度が高く, 近交係数は中514号が47%, 中515号が100%である。「はくぎん」は1998年1月に特徴ある蚕品種として指定された。幼虫の体色は青系, 斑紋は形蚕, 繭色は白色, 繭形は楕円形であり, ちぢらは普通である。「しんあけぼの」に比べて飼育日数は全齢で約1日短く, 収繭量, 繭重, 繭層重などの計量形質は約8割の水準にある。繊度は1.65dと極細で4眠蚕品種としては初めての2d以下の品種である。繊度偏差も著しく小さいので, 極細の高級生糸の生産が可能となり, 新しい絹製品の開発に利用されることが期待される。

本稿は,Epstein and Zin(1989)による異時点間の効用関数おける,代替性のパラメターとリスク態度のパラメターの範囲を実験によって明らかにしようとする試みである。Epstein and Zin(1989)のモデルでは,期待効用理論では分離されていなかった,異時点間の代替性とリスクパラメターが分離されている。本稿では実験によって,時間選好率,異時点間の代替性とリスク態度それぞれの範囲を計ることを目的とする。第1章では,異時点間の効用理論をめぐる歴史的な背景と実験経済学との関係をごく簡単に述べる。第2章では,Epstein and Zin(1989)の理論を紹介する。第2章第1節では,彼らが導入したα-平均という概念に基づくリスク測度μとそのパラメターαを,具体的な数値例によって紹介する。第2章第2節では,異時点間の効用関数における代替性のパラメターρについて,具体的な数値例をもって理解し,時間選好率との違いについても触れる。第3節では,リスク態度αと代替性ρの相関関係,および期待効用理論の意味について述べる。第3章では日本の資産選択の現状について分析する。第4章では実験によるパラメター測定の方法について説明する。第5章で実験の主な結果をまとめ,第6章で結論を述べる。そこでは,簡単な装置の実験においても,時間選好率,意時点間の代替性,リスク態度が異なるものとして観察されることが述べられる。

Following an episode in Northeast Iceland known as the “Krafla Rifting Episode” 1975-1981, a transient accerelation of the spreading rate between the North American and Eurasian plates was observed by geodetic surveys 1987-1990 using Global Positioning System (GPS). This post-rifting crustal deformation can be interpreted as the response of the shallow elastic layer to the rifting episode (dyke intrusions) delayed by mechanical coupling with an underlying viscous layer. We also found a smaller amount of radial displacements possibly caused by the inflation of the magma chamber beneath the Krafla Caldera.

Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is considered to be an important approach in making clinical decisions regarding the care of individual patients. We conducted a drug information training program applying EBM principles (EBM practice) as part of the hospital practical training curriculum for fourth-year undergraduates at Ehime University Medical School, and describe the EBM practice and its evaluation by students in the present report. In the EBM practice, students received two lectures and training on providing drug information using the EBM approach. We gave students a specific question, which required them to read clinical research articles (meta-analysis or randomized controlled study) in order to answer it.The training program consisted of 5 steps : STEP 1 Defining the specific question that needs to be answered ; STEP 2 Finding the best evidence to answer the question ; STEP 3 Critically evaluating the evidence to assess its validity and usefulness ; STEP 4 Applying the results of the critical evaluation in practice ; STEP 5 Presentation of drug information and discussion.After the training, we asked participating students to complete a questionnaire regarding their opinions of the training program and lectures. Almost all of the students felt satisfied with the EBM practice because it enabled them to enhance their understanding of the EBM process. Our findings suggested that the EBM practice was a useful training program for students.

目的: evidence-based medicineによるレジデント教育の効果を知識, 行動面の変化から評価する.研究デザイン: 自己および外部コントロールによる対照試験セッティング: 大学附属病院対象: 平成6年度自治医大地域医療学で研修中のレジデント15名介入法: 4回の講義と週1回の輪番制のevidence-based medicineに基づく抄録会結果の測定: 1.記述試験による試験点数の変化.2: MEDLINEによる文献検索回数の前年度までの地域医療学レジデント, 内科レジデントとの比較.結果: 4か月後の筆記試験の結果, 平均42点 (100点満点) の点数の上昇が認められ, 全レジデントにおいて点数が上昇した.内科レジデント, 前年度地域医療学レジデントに比し有意な文献検索回数の増加が認められた.結論: evidence-based medicineによる短期間のレジデント教育において, 知識, 行動の両面で好ましい教育効果が認められた.

慶長5年9月15日の関ヶ原の戦いに至る政治的・軍事的動向を把握するうえで、同年6月~9月における徳川家康の軍事行動について検討することは重要であり、必要不可欠な考察であると言えよう。本稿では、当該期に家康が発給した多くの書状を中心にその内容分析をおこない、昨年(2011年)3月に刊行された『愛知県史』資料編13、織豊3の所収史料など新出史料の分析もおこない、新知見を得ることを目指すものである。

Aircrafts arriving at Narita International Airport, Japan were inspected for mosquito vectors of human diseases accidentally introduced into the country. During 5 years from 2001 to 2005 a total of 2, 161 aircrafts were inspected and 28 adult mosquitoes were found from 26 (1.2%) of the aircrafts. Thirteen aircrafts with mosquitoes came from North and South America, 12 aircrafts from Asia and Oceania, and one aircraft from Europe. The mosquito species found in the aircrafts were Culex pipiens complex, Anopheles sinensis, Aedes vexans nipponii, Cx. tritaeniorhynchus. Mosquito species occurring at the government ordinance area of Narita International Airport were examined by dipping collection of larvae, ovitraps, light traps, and dry ice traps, and identified into 12 taxa belonging to 8 genera. In the terminal building of Narita International Airport, adults Cx. pipiens complex were collected year round suggesting the establishment of foreign vector mosquitoes accidentally introduced from tropical/subtropical areas through aircrafts. All of 15, 231 adult mosquitoes examined were negative for 5 mosquito-borne diseases ; yellow fever, dengue fever, Japanese encephalitis, West Nile fever, and malaria.

人口オーナスは現に進行しつつあり、大都市の一部においては今後一時的に改善するものの、再び悪化が見込まれる。人口オーナスは、生産年齢人口比率の低下によって生産を抑制し、税収も減少させる一方、社会保障給付の拡大をもたらす。不況による保険料収入の低迷もあって財政への負担は一層高まっており、地方の負担割合は上昇しつつある。また、高齢者割合の上昇と高齢者の高い投票率とによって、高齢者優先の政治的意思決定を前倒しで実現してしまう可能性が高い。

Most of hydroelectricity development represented by the dam in our country has almost completed. In comparison with it, the use of ocean energy generation is still a development stage. For this reason, we aim at development of the small hydroelectricity device using a piezo-electric element, it will harness Kármán vortex street which occurred by put the object in flow. In this paper, we perform basic examination by numerical simulation and hydraulic experiment about the relationship between Kármán vortex street and the object shape in flow, and vortex-induced vibration. Then we will make generation experiment based on its results, and suggest suitable model of generation.
