The studies of Bradford's Law published in these fifty years are reviewed in this paper, which contains also personality of Bradford, his management of the Library and promotion of UDC. It describes formulations by Brookes and Leimkuhler, Wilkinsons method, droop, practical data, stochastic approach and relations with Zipf's Law and information theory. The progress of the studies in a half century has been characterised by mathematical analysis, which expresses regularity of the Law. The paper introduces that irregularity is very important to understand behavior of information based on empirical analysis on droop. The author expects further studies both theoretical and empirical should be developed to establish fundamental aspects of information science.

The purpose of this study was to examine the change of IKIRU CHIKARA (Zest for living) of early adolescents who participated in long-term camping. The effects of camp programs and camp conditions (living, weather) were examined. The subjects were 1279 early adolescents (ages 9 to 15 years) who participated in 67 long-term campings, and 67 directors who administrated or supervised long-term camping. The IKIRU CHIKARA inventory (IKR inventory) by Tachibana (2001) was administered in pre (before camp) and post (after camp) design for early adolescents. IKR inventory were constituted by 14 sub-scales that have 5 items, and 3 ability-scales were measured by the 14 sub-scales. And the directors were asked as related to living condition and camp program of each camps after camping.The major findings were as follows:1) 14 sub-scales and 3 ability-scales of IKIRU CHIKARA of early adolescents who participated in long term camping showed significant change (p<.001) between pre and post test. Therefore the long-term camping effected a change of IKIRU CHIKARA.2) The psychological and social ability showed more change than moral ability (p<.01).3) The rustic condition of living and bad weather effected a change of IKIRU CHIKARA.4) The challenging camp program effected a change of IKIRU CHIKARA. The result suggested that long-term camping with appropriate stress for early adolescents effected a change of IKIRU CHIKARA.

本稿は、原子力発電所の現場の最前線で働く労働者の労働法上の問題について検証し、とりわけ東日本大震災後の東京電力福島第一原子力発電所で働く労働者に対して、いかに労働者の安全と労働者としての権利を守りうるか考察するとともに、今後の展望を示すことを目的とするものである。

近年のWEBアプリケーションには,便利でユニークな機能を搭載したガジェットが多数存在する.<br />しかし,複数のソーシャルメディアを連携させたガジェットは存在しない.<br />本研究では,YouTubeとTwitterに焦点を当て,本学のトキ野生復帰ボランティア活動を軸に,トキについての情報発信,情報収集のポータルとなるiGoogleガジェットの開発を行った.<br />YouTubeページではトキに関連する動画を集約し,Twitterページでは共通のハッシュタグを用いたツイートのみを表示した.<br />iGoogleガジェットにすることで世界中での利用を可能にし,ダイレクトに複数の情報を閲覧,投稿することを実現した.

Rich Internet Applications, which interact with users dynamically and which content changes dynamically, are emerged with Ajax and JavaScript technologies. These dynamic Web pages, however, may cause accessibility problems. We carried out a case study with two Google applications, iGoogle and Google document, to examine 1) what kind of accessibility problems are came out, and 2) which problems are resolved by a code with good practice and which problems is inevitable.

牛にはどのような鳴き方があるかを調べ, 分類することができれば, 牛の健康状態や欲求を知るなど管理面で有効に利用できる可能性があると考え, 牛の鳴声の分類を試みた。さらに, 比較的安価な音声分析の方法として, 1/3バンドパスフィルタユットを接続した騒音計による周波数分析とマイコンによるサウンドスペクトログラフの利用について検討した。年齢により5グループに分けたホルスタイン種雌牛25頭から合計489の鳴声を録音した。鳴声の録音は, FMワイヤレスマイクを牛の頭絡に装着し, ラジオカセットレコーダを用いて20分間行なった。成牛および育成牛は1頭のみ群がら隔離した状態で, 哺乳子牛はカーフハッチにおいて朝の哺乳直前に録音を行なった。鳴声の分類について, 成牛と育成牛の鳴声はMM, MOO, MOHの3つの型に, 哺乳子牛はMMとMOの2っの型に分類した。これは, ひと鳴きが単調ではなく, 強さや周波数が連続的に変化することに基づいた分類である。MMはうなり声に近く, 口はほとんど開けず, 声は弱い(頭絡上で82±4.6dB)。長さは1.5±0.4秒で, 基本周波数は80〜100Hzと考えられた。MOOはMMと違い, 後半口が開いており, 強さは94±6.7dBでMMとMOHの中間であった。MOHは群から隔離された今回の実験状況下の牛では一番多く観察された鳴声で(78%), 遠くの群にとどくよう声は強く(102±4.9dB), 長さも長いものが多かった(1.7±0.4秒)。この型は, 後半に強い声を出すため横隔膜を収縮させる動作を伴う。M・O・Hと分割して考えると各音節の強さ, 長さ, 高さなどが多種多様であったが, さらに細かい分類はしなかった。哺乳子牛のMMとMOの強さはそれぞれ77±3.5,98±6.8dB, 長さは1.1±0.5,1.4±0.3秒であった。MMの基本周波数は100〜160Hzで, 成牛や育成牛とはかなり声の質は異なっていた。MOHやMOなど周波数が時間とともに連続的に変化する鳴声は, 騒音計による周波数分析のみでは細かい特徴をとらえ難かった。その点, マイコンによるサウンドスペクトログラフを使用すると, 鳴声の細かい特徴をとらえるのに有効なことが分った。
