最近では, 各地の醸造指導機関や大手酒造メーカーによる吟醸酒醸造用香気高生成酵母等の優良清酒酵母の育種, 実用化例が多数報告されている。そこで, 今回は溝酒の品質にたいへん重要な影響を及ぼす成分である有機酸に着目した少酸性及びリンゴ酸高生産性多酸性清酒酵母の育種について解説していただいた。

成功への道筋も不明のまま手探りで始まったわが国のTLO事業。多くのTLOが深い悩みを抱えていることが、日経バイオビジネス編集部がこのほど行った調査で明らかになった。全国の承認・認定TLO24組織を対象に活動の実態、問題点などを問うアンケートを行ったもので、24組織すべてから回答を得た。深刻な人材不足 TLO業務上で感じている悩みを選択式で回答してもらった結果が下図。

本研究は、自殺未遂歴および希死念慮がある精神障害者に対してリスクをマネージメントしながら、就労支援を行う特化型就労支援プログラムを開発しその有用性を検討することを目的に実施した。このプログラムは、医療機関と連携した特化型就労支援窓口と携帯メール自動配信サービスから成り立っている。K市内の就労支援事業所と精神科診療所外来作業療法部門の2箇所で医療機関と連携した特化型就労支援窓口を開設しその有用性を検討した。さらには、希死念慮等の精神症状を有する精神障害者に対して携帯メールを配信するプログラムを開発し、それによって希死念慮が低下し、社会資源を積極的に利用する者が有意に増加したことを報告した。

エスカレーターは利用者を効率よく大量に輸送できる装置として広く普及している。多くの人が利用する乗り物だからこそ,安全で安心して利用できることが求められる。しかし,エスカレーターにおける事故は後を絶たない。そこで本研究では,神戸市営地下鉄を対象に,エスカレーター事故のデータを整理し,事故の要因および状況からその特徴を解析的に明らかにする。分析の結果,飲酒での利用や高齢者は事故発生のリスクが高く,とくに高齢者は救急搬送されるケースが多いことが示された。また,時間帯によって事故要因に特徴がみられることも明らかとなった。

目的:緊急入院した高齢者で,せん妄回復時に消失したせん妄発症要因を明らかにする.方法:緊急入院した65歳以上の患者で,せん妄評価尺度(ナース版)において,せん妄を発症した35人を対象に,診療録から調査を行った.結果:せん妄回復時に消失したせん妄発症要因は,「疼痛」,「発熱」,「血清クロールの異常」,「ベンゾジアゼピン系薬剤の使用」,「侵襲の多い検査・処置」,「経皮的酸素飽和度の異常」,「治療拒否の訴え」,「不安の訴え」,「不眠の訴え」,「時計の不設置」がせん妄発症時に比べ,せん妄回復時で有意に少なかった.結論:緊急入院した高齢者のせん妄回復時に消失したせん妄発症要因が明らかになり,せん妄発症後,せん妄回復に向けた看護援助の方向性の示唆となった.

Electrodeposition of Cu was conducted in a synthetic electrorefining solution to investigate the effect of gelatin, thiourea and chloride ions on the polarization curve for Cu deposition, morphology, texture, surface roughness and the throwing power of the deposited Cu. In a solution containing both gelatin and chloride ions, the cathode potential for Cu deposition was significantly polarized at current densities above 200A/m2, while the thiourea depolarized the potential for Cu deposition at 200 to 1000A/m2. In a solution containing the three additives, i.e. gelatin, thiourea and chloride ions, the potential for Cu deposition was polarized at 500A/m2. It is supposed that the synergistic effect of gelatin and chloride ions on the polarization prevailed over the depolarization effect of thiourea. In the Cu deposited at initial stage, the chloride ions promoted the field-oriented texture with the orientation of direction. However, Cu deposited at initial stage from the solution containing gelatin, thiourea and chloride ions was composed of both the inclined texture type and the epitaxial growth type of crystals. The surface roughness and throwing power of the deposited Cu was most improved in the solution containing gelatin, thiourea and chloride ions, showing the synergistic effect of three additives. The thiourea had an effect on decreasing the surface roughness of the deposited Cu, and chloride ions improved the throwing power of Cu.

Ancient Egyptian ‘Letters to the Dead’, addressed to the deceased by the member of the bereaved family, are very important materials showing the image that Ancient Egyptians called up concerning the dead.The aim of this paper is to show such an image of the dead, considering the character of the dead in the letters to the dead which belong to the period from the Sixth to the Twentieth Dynasty.The letter was written mostly for asking the addressee, the deceased, to help the member of the bereaved family, including the addresser, being suffered from some trouble, containing sickness, nightmare, and the evil act by the other living person. These troubles, even the acts of the living, were attributed to the malice of the evil dead, and the addressees were asked to fight, or to report to the court in the Netherworld against the evil dead. In some letters, the addresser even half-threatened the addressee with the stop of the funerary service in order to make him/her help his/her family on the earth.The addressee could also be regarded as the culprit being responsible of the trouble of his/her bereaved family. In that case, the addressee was blamed, and even threatened by the addresser.In any case, the dead in ‘Letters to the Dead’, including the addressee, were used one-sidedly by the living to explain various troubles on the earth, or to acquire their solutions or compensations.

電子ジャーナル購読費用の高騰やオープンアクセス化が進展しない現状に対して,研究者や研究機関が不満を抱くことが多く,公共性を有する研究成果が研究資金の潤沢な国や機関に所属する人々しか享受できないのは深刻な問題である.この問題を解決するために,本研究では,研究者は当然のことながら世界中の誰もが学術論文の無料閲覧を可能とする,ブロックチェーンを基盤としたコンソーシアム型学術論文アーカイブシステムを提案し,初期的検討を行う.具体的には,アーカイブサーバにおけるデータ蓄積量および研究力スコアに準拠したコンセンサスアルゴリズムの概念を新たに提案する.また,メトカーフの法則を参照しながらビットコイン時価総額とアクティブユーザ数の間には正の相関があることを示し,提案システムのアクティブユーザ数を増やす仕掛けとして査読者にインセンティブとなる暗号通貨を与える方法を提示する.

From time immemorial, shaving one’s beard has been continued. Using razor or electric shaver is common for all male adult to show their cleanliness recently. The custom for shaving my beard by myself was harbingered by World War I and II. Tremendous safety razors were provided by US government to frontline infantry, then they acquired a custom of “shaving by myself”. An electric shaver was invented early of the 20th century, and it is divided two shaving motion, a rotation or a reciprocation. In this article, investigating the relation between inner blade’s edge radiuses and pulling force, clarifying differences of shaving mechanism of a rotation or a reciprocation type shaver by a high speed camera with measuring pulling force simultaneously are explained.
