本研究は,ばんえい競走馬における能力検定後馬体重(馬体重)を適切に説明する数学モデルの選択および遺伝率を推定することを目的とした.データは,2007年から2016年までに能力検定に合格した重種馬1,849頭の品種,性別,生産地市町村および馬体重の記録,および27,214個体を含む血縁個体である.測定時月齢は,能力検定合格回次の検定実施月と誕生月の記録から推定した.遺伝分析に用いる数学モデルを決定するため,測定年,性別,測定時月齢および生産地市町村を組み合わせた複数の母数効果モデルを仮定した.赤池の情報量規準,ベイズの情報量規準および決定係数より,遺伝分析には,測定年,性別および月齢を母数効果として含むアニマルモデルを採用した.馬体重の遺伝率推定値は,中程度(0.47)であったことから,遺伝的改良が可能な形質である.

北海道の帯広市では市によって公営競技であるばんえい競馬が運営されている。ばんえい競馬は単なる公営競技ではなく、北海道の文化遺産に登録され、帯広市の主要な観光資源の一つである。しかし、近年は馬券(勝馬投票券)売り上げの減少により、存続が危ぶまれている。本研究ではばんえい競馬に訪れる来場者に注目し、彼らの馬券購入を含む消費行動を明らかにするためにアンケート調査を実施した。調査結果から、時期によって異なるタイプの観光客が来場しており、勝馬投票券の購入金額も異なることが明らかになった。特に、夏季(8月)は性別や年齢などの属性によって使用額に有意な差が見られたが、冬季(12月)はばんえい競馬に対する愛着の度合によって使用額に有意な差が見られた。これらの結果を踏まえ、観光客のばんえい競馬への愛着度合いを考慮して、夏季、冬季で異なる取り組みを行うことが有効であると考えられた。

The authors dissected 72 paired arm to study the anatomy of Gantzer's muscle. The dissection explored course of the median nerve from the elbow to the distal end of the forearm. The following anatomical structures and variations were noted;(1) The presence of a Gantzer's muscle, as well as its relationship to the median and anteriorinterosseous nerves.(2) The origin and insertion of Gantzer's muscle.Results: Gantzer's muscle arose from the medial epicondyle of the humerus in 45 arms (90%), from the coronoid process of the ulna in 3 arms (6%), from the intermuscular fascia in 1 arm (2%), and from a double origin- the medial epicondyle and the coronoid presess-in 1 arm (2%). Insertion was to the proximal part of the tendon of the flexor pollicis longus muscle in all arms.Gantzer's muscle always lies posterior to the median nerve. In 12 out of 50 arms, the muscle passed posterior to the anterior interosseous nerve, and in the remaining 38 arms, the anterior interosseous nerve ran proximal to the muscle along its proximal border and never cross Gantzer's muscle and its tendon.Based on these findings, the authors concluded that Gentzer's muscle rarely contributes to anterior interosseous nerve compression in the proximal forearm.

Proton-responsive pincer-type ligands have been used as scaffolds to realize metal–ligand cooperative transformations. Unlike most of the ligands therein, 2,6-bis(pyrazol-3-yl)pyridines (3-bpp) ensure that two protic groups point to the remaining coordination site in the pincer plane. This article reviews the coordination chemistry of 3-bpp and related tridentate ligands with emphasis on the characteristics originating from the Brønsted acidity of the peripheral NH groups. Synthesis of 3-bpp complexes, which often associated with spontaneous deprotonation of the 3-bpp ligand and aggregation of the complex to give supramolecular structures, is first described. Deprotonation of the 3-bpp complexes along with the following reactivities is then discussed. Application of the 3-bpp complexes to catalytic reactions as well as materials exhibiting spin-crossover and fluorescence is also described. Finally, pincer-type complexes bearing protic N-heterocyclic carbene side arms are briefly mentioned as relevant molecules.

Recently the anthors experienced two autopsy cases of the suspected lead poisoning and decided it's diagnosis by demonstration of clear lead line at hard tissues, especially dentin. The other findings of the oral tissues were gingivitis ulcerosa and lead line about 1 mm wide at the labial gingiva of the lower incisor and buccal gingiva of the upper left second premolar and first molar in the first case and slight gingivitis in the second case. Moreover in polarogram, the anthors proved existence of lead at the liver of the first case and at the liver, bone and brain of the second case.

<p>需要予測における誤差要因を解明するため,愛知県小牧市の名鉄小牧駅と桃花台ニュータウンを結ぶ桃花台線ピーチライナーを取り上げ検証した.計画者が4段階推計法を用いて行った需要予測値約31,000人/日は実績値約2,100人/日の約15倍の過大予測であった(比較年:1991年).分析の結果,ニュータウン入居者数の予測誤差による「発生」段階で約1.7倍,分担率曲線の時間移転性や競合路線の未考慮による「分担」段階で約7倍の誤差が確認された.計画者と同じデータを用いて構築した非集計モデルでは,競合路線と予測時点の社会経済属性の前提が適切であれば,予測が実績に大きく近づくことが示された.</p>
