手話学習において一般的に書籍や映像が用いられる.映像学習の場合,書籍よりも手話動作を理解しやすいが,動作撮影の手間や映像出演に対する抵抗感により,手軽に制作することが難しい.そこで筆者らはWikiのように誰でも情報の共有が可能であり,CGキャラクタを利用して手話映像を生成する,手話CG Wikiの開発を行っている.手話CG Wikiではボタン操作によりCGキャラクタの動作を制御し,全体と手先の映像を提供する.本稿では手話CG Wikiのユーザインタフェースの評価を行う.評価実験では手話経験者に手話CG Wikiを操作して頂き,操作性や手話CGの完成度について考察する.

We obtained radiocarbon datings of 29,209±554 yrBP. for shell sample from Pukaki and 30,230±413 yrBP. for that from Motukorea in the Auckland Volcanoes, New Zealand. When we supply the ages of indivisual volcanoes and compositional change with time, it can be possible to elucidate the magma system of the Auckland Volcanic Field.

学生の習熟度がますます多様化する時代を背景に、学生それぞれの習熟度にきめ細かく対応できる知的学習支援システムを充実させる期待は一層高くなる傾向にある。このため、本研究では、まず利用価値の高い大規模な知的学習支援システムの構築を目指すことを目的とし、項目反応理論など現代テスト理論を評価法に加味した上で、欠測データに対しても習熟度がロバストに推定できるようなアルゴリズムを構築してきた。その際、対象科目を大学数学基礎科目(微積分と線形代数)に特化した上で、3000問以上の設問を準備し、1000人規模の大学入学生全員に一斉にテスティングが行える大規模オンラインコンピュータシステム環境を整えた。次に、刻々と蓄積されるオンラインデータベースを用いて、さまざまな方向からの統計的な分析を行ってきた。これまで実施してきたラーニングアナリティクスから得られた知見は次のとおりである。(1)入学直後のプレースメントテスト、毎授業のオンラインテスト、および期末試験との相互関係を調べると、プレースメントテストから期末試験の結果を予測することは困難であるが、蓄積されるオンラインデータに提案した最近傍による類似性を適用すれば期末試験の結果を学期途中からでもある程度の確率で予測することが可能である。(2)アダプティブオンラインテスティングから得られた応答マトリクスは欠測データがかなり多いため問題の困難度の推定が難しいが、応答マトリクスを操作することによって、問題の困難度の推定値を一部求めることは可能である。さらに、複数大学間での連携協調により共通的なプラットフォームを構築し利用価値の高い大規模な知的学習支援システムの構築を目指すこととして、教科書の付録につけた「Webアシスト演習」に蓄積されてきているアクセスデータから、線形代数、微分積分、確率・統計、基礎物理の4つの科目の授業支援を行っている。

エンドフィールとは,関節を他動的に動かした時に最終域で感じられる抵抗感である.エンドフィールは正常関節でも感じられるものと,痛みや関節可動域制限に関連した異常なものに分けられる.この概念はイギリスの整形外科医Cyriax1)により軟部組織損傷の診断手技の1つとして紹介され,その後,徒手療法を行う理学療法士によりいくつかの分類がなされている2).本稿ではMageeによる分類3)に従って解説する.

New chelating resins immobilizing carboxymethylated polyallylamine (CM-PAA) were prepared by immobilizing PAAs with some molecular weights on methacrylate resins and then carboxymethylating a part of amino groups in the PAAs using various amounts of sodium monochloroacetate. The molecular weight of PAA barely affected both the amount of PAA immobilized on the resin and the relationship between the carboxymethylation (CM) rate and the ratio of the amount of monochloroacetate used in the CM step. The selectivity of CM-PAA resin for solid-phase extraction of trace elements was almost the same as that of a resin immobilizing carboxylymethylated polyethyleneimine; 10 elements, namely Cd, Co, Cu, Fe, Mo, Ni, Pb, Ti, V, and Zn, could be quantitatively recovered over a wide pH range and alkali and alkaline earth elements were scarcely extracted under acidic and neutral conditions. The CM-PAA resin was applicable to the separation and preconcentration of the elements in a certified reference material (Waste Water, EU-L-1) and a real environmental water sample (ground water).

A certified reference material, NIMD-01, was developed for the analysis of mercury speciation in human hair. We collected the hair of Vietnamese males from a barbershop in Hanoi in 2016 and prepared 1200 bottles containing 3 g of sieved and blended hair powder. The certified value was given on a dry-mass basis, with the moisture content obtained by drying at 85°C for 4 h. Certified values with the expanded uncertainties (coverage factor, k = 2) were as follows: methylmercury, 0.634 ± 0.071 mg kg−1 as mercury; total mercury, 0.794 ± 0.050 mg kg−1; copper, 12.8 ± 1.4 mg kg−1; zinc, 234 ± 29 mg kg−1; selenium, 1.52 ± 0.29 mg kg−1. An indicative arsenic concentration of 0.17 ± 0.03 mg kg−1 was measured. Extended uncertainties were estimated by sample homogeneity, long- and short-term stabilities, and a characterization from measurements made by collaborating laboratories.

Spectral pretreatments, such as background removal from Raman big data, are crucial to have a smooth link to advanced spectral analysis. Recently, we developed an automated background removal method, where we considered the shortest length of a spectrum by changing the scaling factor of the background spectrum. Here, we propose a practical way to correct the systematic error caused by noise from measurements. This correction has been realized to be more effective and accurate for automatic background removal.

The ultra-thin sections of My. ulcerans were examined with electron microscope.1) Two types of bacillary bodies, namely, the homogenous, solid type and the type which has various internal structures were observed. The many intermediate forms between both variations were observed and they could be divided decidedly.2) The bacillary body is enveloped with a cell wall. Within the bacillary body, large electron-dense granules (50-100mu), small granules (about 20mu), electron-transparent vacuolous structures, and reticular, tubular and ramifying string-like structures were recognized.3) The internal structure of My, ulcerans is very similar to those of murine, human leprosy bacilli, and tubercle bacilli.

近時、江戸時代初期に描かれた、三十六歌仙の歌仙絵およびその歌仙の歌が書かれた色紙(屏風崩し)を落手した。今回、在原業平の歌仙絵のみを使用し、歌は『古今和歌集』仮名序の業平歌三首より二首を選出した。このように、この数年、古い歌仙絵にその歌仙の詠歌を書き組み合わせて、一つの作品となるような創作活動をしている。潤渇・太細の変化はもちろん、行間や行の流れの変化もつけ、余白の美を創出した。小品ながら文字数によって煩くならないようにし、奥行きが出るように工夫した。本紙寸法、各縦12.5×横11.5㎝
