日々の保育の現場では様々な歌が歌われている。歌われる歌の種類としては、毎日の基本的生活習慣を身につけるもの、四季の自然の美しさや生き物の存在を身近に感じるもの、園で行われる行事に向けて歌われるものなどが挙げられる。現代では、CD などの録音媒体を通して伴奏を流し子どもたちに歌わせることも可能だが、やはり保育者自身の手で、子どもたちが歌いやすいテンポや音量などに配慮した伴奏を心掛けることが大事である。また、保育者が奏でる生の音や歌声に触れながら、一緒に歌い音楽を共有することが、子どもの豊かな表現力や感性を育むことに結びつくと考える。しかし、ピアノの経験がない学生にとって、ピアノを弾きながら歌うという「弾き歌い」は、決して容易なものではない。保育者として現場に出る準備をする学生に、この「弾き歌い」の能力をつけるのが保育士養成校で音楽を教える教員の役割であることから、2年間の音楽の授業の指導法に関する考察や、教員間での情報交換に取り組んだ。また、筆者が昨年度に行った、東濃5市の保育施設において歌われている四季の歌に関する調査結果と、昨年度の学生の習得状況の比較を行ったところ、取り扱われる歌に関して、大学と保育施設の間で差があることも明らかになった。

日本密教における非情成仏論は、五大院安然(841~889~、一説915没)が『斟定草木成仏私記』や『菩提心義抄』において「非情独一で発心し修行し成仏する」ことを明確に表明して以来、主に非情が成仏することは前提とし、非情も発心・修行するか否かが問題の中心として論じられてきた(1)。 東密では、主に『即身成仏義』に引かれる『大日経』の「我即同㆓心位㆒。一切処自在普遍㆓於種種有情及非情(2)㆒(原文漢文)」や、同じく『即身成仏義』の「諸顕教等以㆓四大㆒為㆓非情㆒、密教即説㆑此為㆓如来三摩耶身(3)㆒(原文漢文)」の文を註釈する際に非情成仏がしばしば論じられてきたが、この場合においても「非情が成仏するか否か」ではなく、「非情が発心・修行するか否か」が中心命題とされ、実範(?~1144)・重誉(?~1143)・道範(1179~1252)・頼瑜(1226~1304)・宥快(1345~1416)といった東密を代表する学匠達は、ともに非情の発心・修行義を認める教説を立てている。 しかし、『釈摩訶衍論』論義の算題である「非情成仏」では、非情の発心・修行義は問題とされず、非情が成仏するか否かが論義の中心命題となっている。この「非情成仏」という算題は、『密教大辞典』には「釈論巻四随文散説決疑門に当㆑知有㆓仏性㆒(原文漢文)とあるに就き此の有仏性の義は非情に通ずと云ふべきや否やを論ずる算題。東密新義派に用ふ。」とある通り、新義真言のみで立てられた算題である。 この「非情成仏」の算題は、その源流を頼瑜撰『釈摩訶衍論愚草』(以下『釈論愚草』)に求めることができ、その後の根来中性院第四世聖憲(1307~1392)撰『釈論百条第三重』(以下『釈論第三重』)、智積院第七世運敞(1614~1693)撰『釈論第二重』等の論義書にも収録されている。しかしここで問題となるのは、頼瑜と聖憲が「答」として正反対の見解を示す点である。すなわち、頼瑜はこの「有仏性」には非情も含まれる(非情成仏の肯定)と決答し、聖憲はこの「有仏性」には非情は含まれない(非情成仏の否定)と決答するのである。 そこで本稿では、この頼瑜と聖憲の論義の相違に注目し、なぜこのような相違が起きたのか少しく検証してみたい。

本報告では,鹿児島県屋久島で行われているエコツーリズム業が地域社会に及ぼす経済的影響を,西暦2000年前後に焦点を絞って,需要側(観光客側)・供給側(エコツーリズム業従業者側)双方の視点から明らかにした。屋久島を訪問する年間約20万人程度の観光客のうち,19-21%に当たる約34,000-38,000人が,屋久島滞在中にエコツアーを利用していた(2001-2002年)。またエコツアーを利用した観光客の過半数(57-60%)が,パッケージツアー(以下,パック旅行)を利用しており,エコツーリズム業とパック旅行の関係が密接であることが判明した。エコツーリズム業の経営構造を分析した所,費用の約50%は労務費が占めていた。その一方,減価償却費は旅館業やボーリング場経営に比べ小さい金額・比率にとどまっており,開業に必要な投資額が莫大でないことが示唆された。損益分岐点分析を行ったところ,売上高は損益分岐点売上高を上回り,また損益分岐点比率もホテル業などよりも小さい値であるため,経営環境は良好であると推測された。屋久島のエコツーリズム業の売上高は,年間5億1,000万-5億7,000万円と推定された。エコツアー業の経営環境は良好である一方で,山岳地域への環境負荷も増大させてきた。こうした状況に対して公的機関を中心に,荒川登山バス(シャトルバス制度),様々な対策を導入してきたものの,抜本的な解決には至っていない。

Ocular ischemic syndrome can be of either the acute type (amaurosis fugax, retinal artery occlusion and ischemic optic neuropathy) or the chronic type (venous stasis retinopathy and ischemic oculopathy). We carried out etiological studies on 35patients (19men, 16women, aged 62±16years) with retinal artery occlusion and 21patients (13men, 8women, aged 47±19 years) with amaurosis fugax. In all patients, carotid ultrasonography was performed to clarify the extent of carotid artery disease ipsilateral to the retinal artery occlusion and amaurosis fugax. All the patients underwent electrocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography. Arterial stenosis exceeding 50% of the diameter of the internal carotid artery ipsilateral to the symptomatic eye was more frequent in patients with retinal artery occlusion than in those with amaurosis fugax. Patent foramen ovale more frequent in the latter than in the former. Patients with venous stasis retinopathy and ischemic oculopathy (neovascular glaucoma) had occlusion of the ipsilateral carotid artery with reversed ophthalmic artery or severe stenosis of the ipilateral carotid artery with stenosis of the ipsilateral ophthalmic artery. Neurosonologic studies can provide valuable clinical data on ocular ischemic syndrome.

The demand for navigation is rising as railway transportation services is becoming complex. Real-time data integration from multiple business systems is required for passenger-oriented navigation. Conventional mediators, real-time data integration technique which converts queries and data between business systems and applications based on their each schemes and mapping between them, can not follow expansion both of applications and business systems. In this paper, we propose a new mediator to solve the scalability problem with core-global scheme, which allows independednt mappings with each schemes of them and expresses principal components of business systems and applications. The 2 features of core-global scheme reduce effects of scheme changes on other mappings so that the mediator has scalability. Furthermore, we propose an architecture of the mediator that reduces effectivity loss of queries. We implemented a prototype and evaluated its scalability and query effectivity for an application of railway navigation.

The Large Helical Device (LHD) is a heliotron-type toroidal fusion experimental device which will provide useful and reliable datasets for high-temperature helical plasmas with an equivalent Q value of 0.1 to 0.35. One of the crucial tasks of LHD is to demonstrate steady-state operations by taking the advantage of its magnetic configuration with currentless plasmas as well as built-in divertors. In this respect, the coil systems are fully superconducting (SC); consisting of a pair of helical coils, three pairs of poloidal coils and nine bus lines. All the SC coils have been successfully fabricated with high accuracy and they are presently in the final stage of assembly in a cryostat vessel along with outside preparations of plasma heating devices, diagnostic equipment and control systems. The first plasma operation is scheduled for the end of March 1998. The technological development of SC magnets through this project played a key role in LHD, and will also be useful for constructing future fusion reactors.

幼児はどのように動詞と時制等の一致の表現を獲得するのか。ドイツ語、オランダ語、フランス語などを母語とする幼児が主節不定詞現象を示すことはよく知られている。本プロジェクトでは、縦断的研究とコーパス分析に基づき、日本語を獲得する幼児においても、2歳前に、主節不定詞現象に見られる時制・補文標識に関する特徴を欠いた段階が存在することを提案する。さらに本研究では、主節不定詞現象は言語を超えて共通するが、主節内の動詞の形態は、世界を三分化することを提案する。不定詞、語幹の裸動詞、そして、代理の活用形がデフォルトとしてつけられる場合の三種類の幼児の動詞が、大人の形態的特徴を反映してあれわれることを示す。
