【目的】社員食堂を通して減塩に関する食環境と栄養教育を併用した介入を1年間実施し,勤労者の食塩摂取量の変化と,行動変容の要因に及ぼす効果を明らかにする。【方法】研究デザインは,施設単位の無作為化比較試験である。8施設を施設単位で環境教育群,環境群,対照群の3群に振分けた。社員食堂にトランスセオレティカルモデルに基づく健康情報を載せた卓上メモと滴下型醤油差しを設置し,また,調理従事者にみそ汁と麺つゆの食塩濃度を,初回の濃度を基準に1年かけて徐々に減らすよう指示した群を環境群とした。環境群の介入に加えて,栄養教育を年4~6回実施した群を環境教育群とした。解析対象者は男性216人,女性161人であった。食塩摂取量は簡易型自記式食事歴法質問票から推定した。行動変容ステージ及びその他の要因を自記式質問票で調べた。【結果】食塩摂取量は,女性の環境教育群においては1年間で平均 0.4 g/1,000 kcal有意に減少し対照群との間に群間差が認められた。食塩摂取量が減少した要因として,女性は醤油,調味食塩の減少に加えて,食態度(減塩の意識),情報・食物へのアクセスが有意に向上し,男性では,食塩摂取量の変化はみられなかったが,前後比較において環境群の行動変容ステージが有意に前進した。【結論】減塩には,食環境介入に栄養教育を加えることが女性勤労者で有効であると示唆された。

【目的】高齢者施設で給与エネルギー目標量を設定する場合に,どのようにエネルギー必要量(以下ER)を推定しているか,推定方法の実態と推定方法や推定値の活用における課題を明らかにすることを目的とした。【方法】東京都内の介護老人福祉施設114施設,及び東京都内と神奈川県内の介護老人保健施設115施設の栄養管理者を対象に,ERの推定方法と課題について質問紙調査を行った。【結果】回収率は58.1%であった。ERの推定方法は「基礎代謝量×活動係数×ストレス係数」が64.7%と最多で,使用している基礎代謝量の推定式はHarris-Benedict式が66.1%であった。ERの推定値が対象高齢者に適切かの回答は「適切である」が21.8%,「適切ではない」が23.3%,「わからない」が49.6%であった。【結論】ERの推定値が対象高齢者に合わないと感じ,値の調整を行っている割合が44.4%であった。現在推奨されている,食事摂取基準に準じた式や数値から求めるERの推定方法は,高齢者施設の現場に適さない場合が多い可能性が示唆された。エビデンスに基づいた要介護高齢者に適したERの推定方法の確立が必要である一方で,式による推定だけでなく,個人差に対する適切な調整方法の確立も栄養ケア・マネジメントにおいては重要である。

The variance of the bit error rate (BER) of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission with the delay time and the phase of the multi-path has not yet been sufficiently clarified. Multi-path introduces amplitude ripples into OFDM transmission, and these ripples change the C/N of each carrier. These changes, in turn, lead to variations in the BER of each carrier. The BER of the entire OFDM is calculated by adding and averaging the carrier-by-carrier BERs. Using mathematical representations of these factors, we theoretically and experimentally demonstrated that the equivalent C/ N degradation from a reference C/N of 22 dB, where the BER of error-correction-free 64-QAM OFDM is 0.009679, oscillates periodically at a delay of 1/ (OFDM bandwidth) and approaches the average value as the delay time increases. We found that the BER has either local maxima or local minima at a delay time equivalent to 1/ (1· (OFDM carrier interval)), where 1 is a positive integer.

We previously reported that combination therapy with an α-glucosidase inhibitor (αGI) and a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor increased active glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) levels and decreased total glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) levels, compared with monotherapy, in non-diabetic men. However, the peptide YY (PYY), cholecystokinin (CCK), ghrelin, and obestatin levels in patients receiving a combination of αGIs and DPP-4 inhibitors have not been previously reported. We evaluated the effect of miglitol, vildagliptin, or their combination on these parameters. Miglitol and/or vildagliptin were administered according to four different intake schedules in eleven non-diabetic men (C: no drug, M: miglitol; V: vildagliptin, M+V: miglitol+vildagliptin). Blood samples were collected at 0, 30, 60, and 120 min after the start of breakfast. The plasma glucose, serum insulin, serum total PYY (PYY1-36 and PYY3-36), plasma CCK, plasma active ghrelin, and plasma obestatin levels were measured. The area under the curve (AUC) of the serum total PYY level in the M group was significantly greater than that in the C group, and the AUC of the serum total PYY level in the M+V group was significantly lower than that in the M group. The combination therapy did not change the AUC of the plasma CCK, plasma active ghrelin, plasma obestatin, and ghrelin/obestatin levels, compared with the control. The results of our study suggested that combination therapy with miglitol and vildagliptin had no effect on appetite regulation hormones, such as total PYY, CCK, active ghrelin, and obestatin, compared with the levels in the control group.

1937年に開催された名古屋汎太平洋平和博覧会は,第二次世界大戦の前夜に開催されたことにより,昭和史に埋もれて忘れ去られてしまった。筆者はゼミのテーマとしてこの国際博覧会を取り上げ,2003年10月から2005年2月までゼミ学生と共同で,Web上で再現するプロジェクトを遂行してきた。プロジェクトの目標はWebアーカイヴ・コンテンツのオーサリングとそれを配信するサーバーの構築である。またコンテンツは3D-CGによる静止画および動画,QuickTimeストリーミング映像,などである。本論文はこのプロジェクトの記録と報告である。

ハンセン病療養所で終生隔離を余儀なくされた患者・回復者はいかなる目的において芸術文化活動を行い、そこにどのような意味を見い出していたのだろうか。本研究は、これまで日本のハンセン病療養所で患者・回復者によって展開された絵画、書、陶芸、手芸を始めとする多様な芸術文化活動の意味とその芸術性について明らかにすることを目的とした。芸術文化活動に携わる入所者からのインタビュー調査ならびに作品、関連文献調査を行うことにより、所期の目的を達成した。

Eleven operations on a set of two-dimensional domains are defined to grasp and handle clearly the varied types of collision problems in process planning of NC-lathe operations. One of the most essential concepts for the solution of dynamic collision problems is "Interference Domain" determined by a wonk-contour and a tool-contour. When the tip of the tool is located in the interference domain, the tool must collide against the workpiece. Using inversion and envelope operations, an algorithm named "Inversed Template Method" is presented to compute an interference contour easily from complicated contours of work and tool. A computer program is coded as a set of subroutines executing the operations by which several typical collision problems in lathe operations are solved to show the effectiveness of the domain operations.

本稿は2つの目的を持って書かれている。第1の目的は、2004年4月にスタートした茨城キリスト教大学文学部新学科(現代英語学科)における新科目(Activities)と、小学校における『総合的な学習の時間』(2004年4月スタート)内に実施される"英語活動"の効果的な方法について、本学学生にとっての教育的効果と小学校における教育的効果とを併せて考察することである。
