戸建て住宅の液状化被害予測・対策・修復技術の向上について検討し、(1)直接基礎建物の被害は、建物階数、接地圧、アスペクト比、地盤沈下量が大きいほど、また表層の非液状化層厚が薄いほど、大きくなること、(2)摩擦杭基礎の沈下挙動は、建物・地盤条件により、抜け上がり、共下がり、めり込み沈下に分類できること、支持杭の被害無被害に杭頭固定度、杭の変形性能と耐力が大きな影響を与えること、(3)液状化対策としてドレーンパイプを基礎外周に設置することが有効であること、(4)鉛直荷重と転倒モーメントに関する安全率により直接基礎の被害をある程度推定できることを示した。

経口的胆汁酸負荷試験を腸疾患 (特に回盲部疾患, 回盲部切除例) に応用し, 胆汁酸の吸収障害を検討した. まず健常者10例において負荷胆汁酸を検討すると酵素法にて血清総胆汁酸濃度を測定する場合遊離型 ursodeoxycholic acid 600mg負荷が有用であり, 次にこれを回盲部疾患7例, 回盲部切除5例に負荷すると, 負荷後の血清総胆汁酸濃度は, 平担な pattern を示し, 特に負荷後120分値がそれぞれ9.5±2.0μM/l, 7.6±0.6μM/lと健常者の20.9±3.4μM/lに比して有意に低値であつた.また各疾患の個々の症例での負荷後のピーク値を比較すると, 回盲部疾患, 回盲部切除例は, 健常者に比して有意に低値であつた. これらのことより, 遊離型 ursodeoxycholic acid 600mgを使用した経口的胆汁酸負荷試験は, 回盲部疾患における胆汁酸吸収障害をよく反映した

Community development, one of critical elements of the sustainable community management, has been increasing its importance in local communities in Japan in recent years. A gradual shift toward decentralization, since in 2003, has been forcing communities to adopt more self-sustaining development policies. At the same time, along with the enactment of the NPO Act in 1998, a variety of actors, including those outside from the communities, have entered grass-rooted activities in local communities. Such an increased involvement of outsiders in the community development process means that they also play an ever-more significant role in the empowerment of the local community. Although most articles discuss the controversial points of outsiders, there have been only a few studies evaluating the positive perspectives. This paper examines the role of outsiders in the community development process by discussing the relations between the working process and outsiders. The result of this study implies that more openly the community is managed, more significantly outsiders can contribute to the community development.

A new multi-objective design approach is proposed for handling many different objective functions in the design problem of laminated composite plates. First, a number of various vibration and buckling eigenvalues are calculated for some discretized fiber angles of the plate by the Ritz method. These eigenvalues are taken to be the object functions. The second step is based on statistical treatment of the data. For each object function, the calculated eigenvalues for different fiber angles are normalized by the maximum value and then the deviated values are determined on the assumption that the eigenvalues are sujected to the Gaussian distribution with the standard deviation of 10 and average of 50. The optimal fiber angle, within the discretized values of fiber angles, is determined by examining the sum of the deviated values of all the object functions.

本研究の目的は、再編がすすむ日本の公民館と韓国の住民自治センターの動向と学習を通しての住民の自治能力形成に向けた今日的課題を明らかにすることである。3年間の調査研究を通して明らかになったことは、(1)邑・面・洞という住民に身近な地域を対象にしている住民自治センターの各種事業における学習・教育機能が地域の住民自治を作り出していること、(2)韓国における地方行政体制改編を背景に、名称変更や洞の統廃合による住民自治センターの再編が進行しること、(3)事例研究を行った釜山市海雲台区では、パンソン2洞住民自治会と地域NGO組織・ヒマンセサンのパートナーシップと重層的な学習活動が住民自治によるまちづくりを生み出していること、である。

東アジアにおける国際結婚は、「東アジア共同体」の構築を社会的に支える重要な要素となる。しかし現状では、この国際結婚は人権侵害、離婚、暴力など、さまざまな問題点を内包している。本研究は、日本人-タイ人の国際結婚を事例としながら調査研究を行うことによって、この国際結婚の多様な展開の姿を類型論にもとづいて明らかにすると共に、それぞれの類型(あるいは形態)における結婚、家族、地域社会などめぐる特質や問題点を解明した。これによって、今後の国際結婚の発展に資する研究成果を得ることができた。
