Dans Lascaux ou la naissance de l'art (1955), Georges Bataille se heurte a une aporie de l'art prehistorique, en y trouvant l'essence de magie: il lui fallut admettre son cote utile, alors qu'il considerait l'art en general comme inutile. Cette aporie tient a l'ambiguite meme de l'<<art magique>>, ambiguite qui caracterise l'esthetique anthro-pologique de Bataille, dont la naissance releve du travail qui se lie a calcul interesse et a l'intention efficace. Mais, pour Bataille, l'intention magique doit etre depassee par l'operation qui fait participer les hommes a la realite sensible ou bien au sacre par le jeu. Bataille trouve les signes de l'operation dans l'<<aveugle surete>> qui compose l'ensemble magnifique de la frise de Lascaux, et dans l'expression de l'<<enchevetrement>>. Il nous amene a ignorer la necessite materielle au milieu de cette realite sensible, a la faveur de la volonte de merveille qui communique avec nous. Etrangere a l'intention prealable et efficace, cette realite se caracterise par l'essence ephemere: l'operation qui ouvre cette realite veut dire la creation d'un monde, il s'agit de chaque geste recommence au moment de <<genie>>. Ce que Bataille presente est l'oeuvre d'art qui n'a pas de sens de decoration durable. Nous pouvons conclure donc que l'<<art magique>> est la survivance miraculeuse des gestes ephemeres.

非ステロイド性抗炎症薬oxaprozinの血小板凝集ならびにprostaglandin(PG)synthetaseに対する作用を検討した.in vitroにおけるウサギ血小板のarachidonic acid(AA)凝剰こ対してoxaprozinは用量依存的な抑制作用を示した.そのIC50は124.2μMで,indomethacin,piroxicamよりは弱く,aspirin,phenylbutazoneとほぼ同等で,ibuprofenの約2倍の強さであった.ex vivoにおけるラット血小板のcollagen凝集に対するoxaprozinの抑制作用は弱く,300mg/kgで抑制作用を示した.indomethacin,aspirinおよびibuprofenは100mg/kgですでに抑制作用を示し,phbenyl-butazoneも300mg/kgで作用を示すが,その作用はoxaprozinより強かった.血小板のADP凝集に対してはウサギin vitro,ラットex vivoのいずれにおいてもoxaprozinは抑制作用を示さなかった.またマウスAA致死に対してoxaprozinは用量依存的な抑制作用を示し,そのED50は56.4mglkgであった.この作用はsulindac,piroxicamおよびibuprofenより弱く,aspirinとほぼ等しく,phenylbutazoneの約5倍の強さであった.一方,PG synthetaseに対してoxaprozinは用量依存的な阻害作用を示した.その作用はindomethacin,piroxicamより弱く,ibuprofenとほぼ同等で,phenylbutazoneおよびaspirinより強かった.以上の結果より,oxaprozinは一般的な酸性非ステロイド性抗炎症薬と同様の血小板凝集抑制作用を有し,その作用は主としてPG生合成の阻害に基づくものと考えられる.

1. 無洗米は,普通精米と比較し水分含量および明度(L値)が高く,タンパク質含量,粗脂肪含量および総遊離脂肪酸含量が低かった.方法の異なる無洗米間では,総遊離脂肪酸含量で若干の差異が認められた.また無洗米の調製残渣は,タンパク質および粗脂肪の含量が高かった.これらの特徴は無洗米化処理により,糊粉層が普通精米と比べ十分に除去されていることが示唆された.<BR>2. 含気包装による貯蔵試験では,無洗米は初発の高い明度が保持され,糊化特性では,同じ玄米を用いている普通精米と比較して糊化開始温度が低く,最高粘度および最終粘度の経時的な上昇が小さかった.総遊離脂肪酸含量では,無洗米は普通精米と比較して貯蔵中の増加率が低かった.<BR>これらの傾向は,室温のポリエチレン包装貯蔵で顕著であり,Kナイロン包装は若干抑えられる傾向にあった.15℃の低温貯蔵では,貯蔵に伴う経時変化が小さく,無洗米と普通精米との差異も小さかった.<BR>脂肪酸度とADAMの遊離脂肪酸含量との間には,一次式y=2.4x-0.15が成立し,相関係数0.995,危険率1%で有意であった.<BR>貯蔵1年後の食味試験では,無洗米Aは普通精米と比較し,香りでは5%危険率,粘りでは1%危険率でそれぞれ有意差が認められた.この有意差は,低い遊離脂肪酸含量に由来していると推察された.

インターネットの隆盛や,XMLの普及,オフィス文書の電子化の促進など,近年,情報処理技術においてデジタルドキュメントを取り巻く環境は急速に変化してきた.当研究会でも,状況の変化に併せて様々な研究報告が行われており,研究報告対象の変化の流れは,デジタルドキュメント環境の変化に同調しているはずである.そこで,研究報告の流れを確認すべく,デジタルドキュメント研究会発足以来これまでの研究報告252件の抄録情報に出現してきた言葉について,データマイニングツールを用いて解析を行い,年代ごとに研究報告のトピックを俯瞰したので,それらの傾向について報告する.The Internet becomes popular, XML spreads, the office document is made electronic, and the environment that surrounds a digital document that relates to information processing technology has changed rapidly in recent years. Various research reports were done changing in the situation. The change to be researched is sure to be tuned to the change in the digital document environment.Then, to confirm the flow to be researched, the word included in 252 abstract information that had been reported in the digital document society was analyzed with a data mining tool. It takes a general view of the topic that appears every age, and it reports on those tendencies.

テキスト間含意関係認識と呼ばれる技術は,深い自然言語理解を必要とするタスクにおいて重要な役割を果たす.この技術が実用レベルに至るには,大規模な含意知識ベースの構築が不可欠である.本稿では,動詞間含意関係知識の大規模な獲得を目的として,条件付き確率に基づく方向付き類似度尺度を提案する.提案手法の評価実験では,WWW上の日本語1億文書から得られた52,562動詞(異なり)を対象とした.この動詞セットには,日常的に使用される動詞も特定の専門的な領域でのみ用いられるような動詞も区別せず含まれている.提案手法と先行研究の手法それぞれのスコア上位20,000位までの出力からランダムに選ばれた200サンプルを人手評価したところ,比較対象のすべての先行研究の手法の精度を提案手法の精度が上回ることを確認した.また,提案手法のスコア上位100,000の出力を人手評価したところ,大規模動詞含意知識ベースを構築する出発点としてリーズナブルな精度が得られていることを実験により確認した.Textual entailment recognition plays a fundamental role in tasks that require in-depth natural language understanding. For entailment recognition technologies to serve for real-world applications, a large-scale entailment knowledge base is indispensable. This paper proposes a conditional probability based directional similarity measure to acquire verb entailment pairs on a large scale. We targeted 52,562 verb types that derived from 108 Japanese Web documents, regardless whether they were used in daily life or only in specific domains. Evaluating 200 samples that were chosen randomly from the top 20,000 verb entailment pairs acquired by previous methods and ours, we found that our similarity measure outperformed the previous ones. For the top 100,000 results, our method worked well too.

Four large specimens of freshwater salmons, 365 to 567 mm in total length, were collected in Kuzuryu Dam, and in the upper streams of Takinami River and Kuroko River, Fukui Prefecture.These specimens are two or three years old, and have higher depth of body than that of the salmonid fish“Biwamasu” (lacustrine form) in Lake Biwa, and the crimson spots on both sides of body.These spots are similar to those of the smaller“Amago”, but differ from those of the“Biwamasu”.The number of transverse scales of the present mateial is more than those of the“Biwamasu”.From the comparison described above and the fact that the“Amago”of Oncorhynchus rhodurus Jordan and McGregor was introduced artificially into the upper streams of Kuzuryu River, Takinami River and Kuroko River before, the author identified the present material as the“Amago”O.rhodurus which inhabits the rivers.

廃校等を芸術文化的施設として活用している事例を、全国46、海外2箇所訪問調査すると同時に、HPやFaceBookを活用して情報収集した。最終報告で全国94施設をリスト化し、うち北海道内19施設、北海道外5施設、海外2施設を具体的に紹介した。この数を基に、廃校の芸術文化的活用の割合は、全国で1.2%、北海道では3.5%であるという結論を導き出した。加えて「廃校・旧校舎アートフォーラム」を2回開催し、廃校の新たな文化施設としての側面の検証及び、近未来の日本型のアートスペースの在り方や運営法、可能性について検討した。

Salmon (Oncorhynchus masou) of uncertain subspecific identity migrating upstream in inflowing rivers around Lake Biwa much earlier than the main autumn migration of Biwa salmon (O. m. subsp.) raised the question of whether or not summer migrating Biwa salmon individuals might be mixed with the very similar redspotted masu salmon (O. m. ishikawae). Accordingly, 17 individuals of summer migrating salmon were captured from inflowing streams of Lake Biwa from May to July in 1998 and 1999, and their morphological characters and mitochondrial DNA analyzed. Twelve individuals were found to be Biwa salmon and three to be redspotted masu salmon, based on both morphological and DNA characters. The remaining two individuals could not be identified owing to discordant the morphological and molecular characters. The study confirmed the occurrence of summer upstream migration in Biwa salmon. Although the majority of Biwa salmon migrate upstream just before the breeding season in autumn, the possibility exists that summer migrating individuals might contribute to the genetic diversity of the Biwa salmon population.

The sea-run form of the Dolly Varden (Salvelinns malma) has not been recorded from Hokkaido, excepting two anadromous males (Flikita, 1962; Ishigaki, 1967).On April 23rd, 1972, a silvery specimen of the Dolly Varden, immature female and 153.1 mm in total length, was collected from the Shoji River in the Shiretoko Peninsula, northeastern Hokkaido. It was identified as a smolt of the Dolly Varden, and is a new record from Hokkaido. The tip of the dorsal fin was jet black and posterior margin of the caudal fin was faintly edged with black.No significant differences were recognized.in the number of vertebrae, pored scales, pyloric caeca, and gill rakers, between the smolt and river resident form from the same district.It was considered, from the point of geographical variation of the fish and geographical aspects of the Shiretoko district, that the fish might have hatched in the Shoji River.

982年と1983年に, 然別湖産オショロコマ (ミヤベイワナ) が多回産卵することを利用して, タッグ装着による母川回帰性を調べた。前年に湖上した同じ河川に翌年再び湖上する個体の比率は極めて高かった。また, 湖中で捕獲し標識後湖に再放流した個体の各河川への瀕上率は, 各河川の総淵上数の比率とほぼ比例していた.このことから, このオショロコマは然別湖水系内で母川回帰することが示唆された。

有珠山は、1977年8月6日未明から、火山性地震を頻発し始め、翌7日、9時12分頃大噴火を起し、その後も数回の爆発を繰り返し、火山弾、火山れき、火山灰等の噴出物は、約2億立方米といわれ、地殻変動、地震動などで建物にも被害を与えた。当研究所では、噴火後直ちに、建物の被害調査と噴出物の建築材料への利用について調査を実施し、地殻変動による建物被害については調査を続行中である。本稿では、北海道大学理学部勝井義雄教授らの論文、その他資料から有珠山噴火の概要について述べることとする。
