牛挽肉および肝臓中でのC. jejuniのγ線照射による殺菌効果について検討を行い,殺菌に必要とされる線量応答を取得した.その際,望ましいγ線照射形態について検討するため,冷蔵·冷凍および含気·脱気包装条件下での殺菌効果を比較した.牛肝臓中でのγ線照射による殺菌には,従来の報告で示された牛挽肉殺菌試験結果よりやや高めの線量が必要で,冷蔵条件の場合のD10値は,含気条件で0.26kGy,脱気条件で0.33kGyであった.この現象は冷凍条件下ではより顕著に観察され,凍結条件下でのD10値は0.58kGyと,先の牛挽肉研究例と比較して高い線量照射を必要とした.さらに牛肝臓を脱気包装した場合では,さらなる殺菌効果の低下が観察され,D10値は0.69kGyとなり含気条件下よりさらに高い線量照射を必要とした.放射線照射時は食品自身の劣化防止のため低温かつ酸素濃度を低下させた環境が望まれるが,牛肝臓中での殺菌を行う場合,上記条件下での照射は品質評価と共に慎重に検討すべきである.

Retrograde pumpellyite was newly found in garnet blueschist that is Mg–rich equivalent of late Paleozoic retrograde eclogite of the Yunotani Valley in the Omi area, Hida–Gaien Belt. The pumpellyite with high Al/(Al + Mg + Fe) occurs in pressure shadows around garnets; it is associated with secondary glaucophane, epidote, chlorite, titanite, phengite, albite, and quartz, which all characterize a retrograde blueschist–facies mineral assemblage after peak eclogite–facies mineral assemblage. This feature is comparable with retrograde pumpellyite in late Paleozoic garnet blueschist (with relict eclogite–facies mineral assemblage) in the Osayama area of the Chugoku Mountains. Equilibrium phase calculation confirmed that the pumpellyite is stable at a low temperature and pressure portion of the lawsonite–blueschist–facies. T–bulk–composition (Mg) pseudosection suggests that pumpellyite appears preferentially in high Mg/(Mg + Fe) bulk composition. The limited occurrence of retrograde pumpellyite in the Yunotani garnet blueschist and retrograde eclogite would be explained by Mg–rich bulk compositions. Also, the limited occurrence in pressure shadows around garnets suggests that the fluid trapped in the pressure shadows might have enhanced growth (or precipitation) of pumpellyite. This finding provides a strong evidence that the deeply subducted (eclogite–facies) metabasaltic rocks both in the Hida–Gaien Belt and the Chugoku Mountains were subjected to a very similar blueschist–facies overprinting locally reached the pumpellyite stability field. The ‘Franciscan–type’ cooling path suggests a ‘steady–state’ underflow of the paleo–Pacific oceanic plate in late Paleozoic at a convergent margin of the South China Craton.

This paper focuses on the transition of name and concept in Japanese Animated films, Senga (“line drawing”). This name was used for about half a century from late Meiji era (around 1910) to the World War II. At first, it was generally a neutral word to express animated films, and it became the genre for enlightenment and diverged with Manga (“cartoons”) to express an entertainment at the later time. But Senga is not memorized widely today. How and when was Senga born, and why did it disappear?Japanese Anime did not develop easily, but get repeatedly into danger of disappearing, because they are suffered from a lack of human and economic resources, in addition, have also been overwhelmed in quality and quantity by Disney and other films from the United States, the producers asked themselves the significance again each time. On the other hand, How the animated films have it been hoped as the media to give the audience what kind of action and effect?Therefore, this paper does not depend only on the content analysis. I examine the national newspaper and refer to a magazine, the book historical materials in the period mentioned the above. There are thought to related at the times when a concept of Senga changes. I argue in three questions, First, “when was Senga born?”, Second, “How has Senga be consumed?”, Third is “how did Senga disappear?”. The transition of the concept of Senga is engraved the aspects of dynamism which represents the changes in consciousness and behavior of the creators, the governments, and the audience of those days.

Low serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) levels are implicated as a risk factor for hip and spine fractures. Studies of the relation between 25(OH)D levels and fractures have primarily involved elderly osteoporosis patients or patients with fractures; however, the serum 25(OH)D and parathyroid hormone (PTH) status in younger adult populations remains largely unknown. We evaluated serum 25(OH)D and intact PTH levels in 411 women aged 39–64 years who were not receiving medication for osteoporosis or other bone diseases. Serum 25(OH)D levels were positively correlated with age (P = 0.019), whereas intact PTH levels were inversely correlated with 25(OH)D levels (P < 0.001). Thus, low vitamin D levels with high intact PTH levels were more common in younger than in older women. Our data show that serum 25(OH)D insufficiency could be a more serious concern in the younger population than had been previously anticipated. Because serum 25(OH)D insufficiency is reportedly a risk factor for hip and spine fracture, the number of fracture patients could increase in the future, suggesting that we may need to correct the serum vitamin D/intact PTH status to prevent future osteoporosis.

Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a combat sport with a high incidence of concussions, including knockouts (KO) due to direct attacks to the head. Once a concussion occurs in a fighter, the rate of concussion recurrence increases. Therefore, participation in matches may be weakened to head impacts as fighters experience repeated concussions. In this study, we investigated the relationship between the occurrence of concussions in male mixed martial arts athletes during the most recent match and their past match records. The analysis included 104 male fighters who competed in elite-level professional MMA competitions. In the most current match, 44 fighters experienced a concussion and 60 fighters did not. Previous KO losses (mean, 2.9) were significantly higher in the fighters who had experienced a concussion compared to fighters who had not (p < 0.0001). Concussion rates (65.0%) were significantly higher in fighters with three or more previous KO losses compared with the rates for fighters with less than 3 previous KO losses (p = 0.03). The odds ratio for the occurrence of concussions in fighters with a history of KO losses was 2.3 times that of fighters without a history of KO losses (p = 0.004). Fighters who had competed in more than 30 matches had a significantly higher incidence of concussions (60.8%) than fighters who had competed in less than 30 matches (37.0%) (p = 0.04). The occurrence of concussions in male MMA fighters is related to the number of previous KO losses and the number of matches.

デュアルユース技術研究への期待は,まずは防衛装備(とくに次世代戦闘機)の調達費削減と技術獲得,そして将来的な国際共同開発を見据えたバーゲニングパワー向上を求める防衛技術外交政策の中で促された.これに日本のソフトパワー向上を求める科学技術外交政策と産学官によるイノベーション志向の科学技術政策が加わることで,デュアルユース技術研究に取り組むことが大学にも期待されるようになった.科学技術外交戦略の議論では,その管理や倫理は内閣府によって検討対象外とされ,国際化・高度化・高額化する通常兵器の取得とデュアルユース技術研究のスピンオン・オフばかりが検討課題になった.デュアルユース技術研究への積極的支援は政権によらずに推進されていたことから,それが日本の政治家のあいだである程度一般的な認識になっていたか,あるいは何らかの外的影響によっていたと考えられる.

耐水性と洗浄性を両立するサンスクリーンを開発するために,酸性条件で疎水性を示し,アルカリ性条件で親水性を示すpH応答性に着目した。pH応答性ポリマーとしてMAUホモポリマー,AMPS/MAUコポリマーを合成した。どちらのポリマーもpH7程度で親疎水性が変化するという目的のpH応答性を有しており,AMPS/MAUコポリマーのほうがMAUホモポリマーよりも短時間で疎水性から親水性に変化することが明らかになった。AMPS/MAUコポリマーを酸化チタンに処理したところポリマー同様のpH応答性を付与することができ,pH5の緩衝液には分散しないが,pH10の緩衝液には分散した。AMPS/MAUコポリマー処理酸化チタンをサンスクリーンに配合したところ,高い耐水性と良好な石鹸での洗浄性を確認した。この結果,これまで実現しなかった耐水性と洗浄性を両立した新奇なサンクリーンを得ることができた。

This work bases on the assertion that the roots of Lolita fashion lay in the 1980s and explores how Lolita fashion came onto the scene as well as what sorts of changes it has undergone up until the present day. Analysis began with a visual survey using photographs of street fashion and fashion magazines such as "Olive." This work divides Lolita fashion into stages taking the early 1980s as "Lolita's FirstEra," the golden age of Lolita in the 1990s as "Lolita's Second Era," and the diversification of Lolita in the 2000s as" Lolita's Third Era," As a result, it was concluded that Romantic fashion and Lolita fashion have many traits in common and that Lolita fashion said to have sprouted in the 1980s sprang from Romantic fashion The work also concludes that the Lolita fashion of today owes its existence to the flourishing of 1990s street fashion and can be taken as a signal of the intensification of its popularity cycle after the 2000s.
