Various researches in popular music studies and related areas have been discussing the correlation between pop music and violent behaviors. While this study finds ground in the both sides of arguments - music as the root of violent behavior of teenagers and music having nothing to do with violence - it focuses on where and how violent behavior and music meet to form a nexus of cultural context. A recent study on urban Papua New Guinea by Karl Neuenfeldt has made an account of "mayhem" took place in during a pop concert at Port Moresby Show in order to exemplify contemporary cultural complex of the country. This study takes advantage of the Neuenfeldt article to posit an argument on violence and music by taking three separate incidents of violence at outdoor music concerts from the Madang area, where the author conducted a field research between 1997 and 1998. Both in Port Moresby and Madang, the aspect of moral panic may involve micro-ethnic conflict, sexual attack, and quality and repertoire of musical performance. However, the cases from Madang reflect more rural context than Port Moresby in the sense that both musicians and audiences are grassroots, whereas in Port Moresby the musicians tend to be widely recognized social figures. Thus in the Madang area, the complex of violence and music is exemplary of cultural production of the grassroots. The nature of violence, aside from direct causes such as the alcohol or personal feud, exists in the ideological effect of 'addressing' of singing voices. The singing voice, which always follows the phonetics of native languages and Melanesian Pidgin in the case of grassroots pops, becomes subject to imagining who is singing. The worst, occasionally violent reaction, is the consequence of a "White men's song", which is either copy of Western pop or an original that makes use of hard rock-style complex chords or a slow tempo like rock ballad. A grassroots audience clearly imagines a non-Papua New Guinea face behind such a singing voice, even if the singer is a Papuan or Melanesian, and reacts with negative comment or violence. The sense of 'being made resonate' with the sound of White men's song leads grassroots audience to the feeling of alienation and deprivation of identity. In the cases of a denied romantic approach leading to sexual violence, which in one case resulted rape, listening to grassroots music that romanticizes local and lived spaces of life, such as a lover, surmounts the feeling of lack. Along with the beat of reggae that often incorporates words from local traditional dance, the grassroots music may alienate the audience by creating a feeling of loss, such as feeling that The voice that is singing, is not I.' Even if the music is sung in a pleasant voice, emotive contents, and played in a dancing rhythm, when it is felt as an addressing voice, it makes an awareness in the audience that he or she is not the one who is singing, or who is expressing feelings so deeply.

本稿は10−14世紀の南アジアの政治史的展開を、ユーラシア・レベルの乾燥・半乾燥地帯の活性化とその定着農耕地帯との連結という、当時の地政学的構造の文脈の中で把握し、その動きがインド洋海域世界の発展と密接に連関して、当時のアフロ=ユーラシア・レベルの交易と結びついていた、そのメカニズムを捉えようとするものである。生態環境の変動(温暖化と降雨量の安定化)による乾燥・半乾燥地帯の活性化は南アジアの地政学的構造を変化させ、その結果、それまでの定着農耕地帯中心の国家は、乾燥・半乾燥地帯と定着農耕地帯とのインターフェースとして機能する国家へと転換した。このような状況が、当時ユーラシア全域で活発化していた遊牧勢力による南アジアへの進出と帝国建設の必要条件となった。同時にそうした国家の出現は、中央ユーラシアとインド洋世界とをスムーズに連結することを可能とし、当時のアフロ=ユーラシア規模の交易ネットワークの形成にも寄与していた。

This paper examines the scribes' training functions in the banner and league offices in the eastern two leagues-Tusiyetu qan ayimav and Cecen qan ayimav-in Outer Mongolia under the Qing rule as well as the scribes' school established at the minister-office of Yeke Kuriy-e in the late Qing period. Based mainly on historical official documents, the author sheds light on dating the time when the scribes' training was started at the league and banner offices, the methods and contents of education there and, furthermore, clarifies various details related to the scribes' training school of the late Qing period, such as the school management, contents of education and regulations. The conducted research attests to the significance the scribes' training system, established in Outer Mongolia under the Qing rule, had on Mongolian history. This system played an important role in accomplishing the document-based administration in Outer Mongolia. It was also a significant factor in promoting Mongolian culture through spreading Mongolian letters and improving the literacy rate in Mongolian society.

Foucault était traversée par les idées des 'l'êthos philosophique' et 'l'ontologie historique de nous-memes' depuis l'archéologie et la généalogie. Nos positions sont qu'il est à la fois la reprise mêmede ses travaux et la charnièrede la theme du savoir, celle du pouvoir et celle de l'éthique,y trouvent-elles leur charnière, et donc qu'il est également au point de départ de envisager son éthique.

関東平野の第四紀後半の地形面は,関東ロームを鍵とすることによつて編年することができる.そのためには,まず関東ローム自体の層序区分と対比を行う必要があつた.関東ロームの区分や対比には層位学的,地形学的考察とともに,重鉱物組成の調査が有力な手段として用いられた.関東ロームの編年と,主としてそれにもとつく地形面の編年は第8図に模式化して示されている.この編年によつて,関東平野の地形面は, DlI, DuIa, DuIb, DuI, Aの各面に区分され,その地理的分布は第11図に示された.地形面の編年と地形面の性質あるいはその成因についての考察から,区分された各地形面形成時代の古地理図を描くことができ(第9図),そして,関東平野の発達史の概略を知ることができた.それは第2表に要約されている.

The purpose of this study is to disclose the building process of suppliers' development capabilities through the patent data analysis under rapid technological system conversion of the automobile. Recent computerization of cars has urged the improvement of the technology of arranging wire harness and lightening. The role of wire harness in a car is a linking of electrical components, so it means that wire harness is to define the electrical functions of the car. Namely, wire harness is suitable as a subject to observe recent improvement process of development capabilities of auto parts suppliers. In order to visualize research results, we use a patent data analysis of the wire harness area. Research subject is wire harness department of the Sumitomo group (Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd., Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd., Auto Network Technology Institute), which has extended global market share over the last two decades, while comparing with the Yazaki Group (Yazaki Sougyou), a top supplier of wire harness. In analyzing the patent data, we regard a company as a bunch of technology and analyze from 3 viewpoints, which are companies, engineers, and invention. Our study revealed the following mechanisms.Mechanism 1, Analysis of Company unit: “Building development capabilities starts from the patent application by wire harness manufacturer alone.”Mechanism 2, Analysis of Engineer unit:“The key to build development capabilities is the reciprocating motion between single application and joint application by core engineers.”Mechanism 3, Analysis of Invention unit: “Building development capabilities accelerates by reconstructing the predecessor's technology.”We present a conceptual model that organizes the mechanism as the conclusion of this study. "Building development capabilities starts from patent applications by wire harness manufacturer alone and returns to the evolution path of the invention by the reciprocating motion of the core engineer as an interface, and accelerates by reconstructing the predecessor's technology."

The purpose of this study is to point out the current issues about the policy of universities in Japan. In recent years, the government and the universities in Japan have focused on constructing new academic and educational institutions or programs for cultivating global human resources in universities. However, the government and the universities do not put a focus on the fact that there are Japanese high school students overseas who do not choose to go to universities in Japan, rather, other countries. This article clarifies the reasons why they decided to go to universities in other countries by semi-structured interview research: 4 students in Canada, and 6 students in Australia. This research result shows as follows: 1) They have been in anticipatory socialization systems globally. Based on 1), 2) They choose university from a respective viewpoint of admission and educational systems. 3) They put an importance on connecting their skills or academic knowledge to their future, such as higher education or occupation globally. The government and the universities should rethink tasks in terms of getting global human resources with a broader perspective.
イヌ肥満細胞腫臨床サンプルに関し、c-kit遺伝子の全領域について遺伝子変異の検索を行い、細胞膜直下領域の遺伝子変異が12%程度の症例に認められたものの、その他88%の症例におけるc-kit遺伝子は、野生型であることを示した。また、変異型c-kit遺伝子を用いて遺伝子導入実験を実施したが、腫瘍性増殖が誘導されなかった。このことから、c-kit遺伝子の変異が腫瘍性増殖の根幹ではなく、それ以外の細胞内分子にも何らかの異常が併発することで腫瘍性増殖が誘導されていることが示唆された。肥満細胞腫細胞ではD型サイクリンの過乗発現、Bcl-2ファミリー分子Mcl-1の過剰発現、Bcl-2抑制性BH3ファミリータンパクの低発現、p21・p27・p53などのガン抑制遺伝子の低発現が認められた。また、転写因子NF-κBやAP-1が活性化しており、これらの分子標的阻害剤によって細胞周期の進行が阻止され、細胞の増殖が抑制されることが明らかとなった。その活性化を誘導する上流の細胞内シグナル分子として、PI3キナーゼ系の下流でS6キナーゼが強く活性化しており、転写を制御するS6リボソーマルプロテインの発現が亢進していることが明らかとなった。さらに、c-kit遺伝子に変異を有さず、高親和性IgEレセプターを発現する新しいイヌ肥満細胞腫株を樹立し、その成果を論文発表した。c-kit遺伝子変異以外の腫瘍化あるいは腫瘍性増殖促進メカニズムを検索する目的で、症例サンプルや数種のイヌ肥満細胞株を用いて、各種サイトカインおよびそのレセプターの発現とグレード(悪性度)との関連を検討した。肥満細胞種の多くが、IL-3や-6、GM-CSF、SCFなどの増殖因子を自ら産生し、それらのレセプターも発現していること、それらを中和することで細胞増殖が抑制されることを明らかにした。
