本研究は絶滅動物の凍結死体細胞からクローンをよみがえらせる手法を開発することが目標である。そこで核移植技術を中心に、絶滅動物を復活させるために解決しなければならない問題を想定しマウスを用いて実験を行った。本研究費助成期間内に新たな染色体移植の方法、死滅した動物からの細胞の採取法、ならびに半永久的にクローン動物を継続維持できることなどを証明した。

目的:London Fibromyalgia Epidemiology Study Screening Questionnaire (LFESSQ)は6問からなる英語の質問票で,一般集団を対象とした疫学研究において,線維筋痛症患者をスクリーニングするためにWhite KPらによって開発された.LEFSSQを日本の臨床現場に導入するため,言語的妥当性を担保した日本語版を作成した.<br>方法:日本語版の作成は,開発許可を取得後,言語的な妥当性を担保した翻訳版の開発において標準的に用いられる手順(①順翻訳,②逆翻訳,③パイロット調査)に沿って実施した.この手順を通し,原作と同等の内容が反映された,日本人にとってより自然な文章表現である翻訳を目指した.内容の同等性については,適宜,原作者に確認した.<br>結果:①順翻訳:日本語を母国語とする2名の翻訳者が,それぞれ日本語に翻訳し,協議を通して一つの翻訳案を作成した.②逆翻訳:英語を母国語とする独立した翻訳者が,英語に逆翻訳した.その後,原作者や専門医との協議を経て,日本語暫定版を作成した.③パイロット調査:6名の日本人成人男女を対象に面接調査を行い,結果を踏まえ,日本語暫定版の文章表現の妥当性を検討した.参加者は,6名中4名が女性,平均年齢は50.0歳であった.調査の結果,質問票の分かりやすさ,及び表現や内容の正確な理解は,全体として問題はなかった.<br>結論:一連の作成手順と検討を通し,言語的妥当性を担保した日本語版LFESSQを作成した.

In English we choose, as a suffix, either '-er' or '-ist', deriving the player noun from a noun expressing a musical instrument. From my analysis of this derivation, it can be assumed that there are close relations between the history of each musical instrument and the choice of the suffix. Both '-er' and '-ist' have a high competence in word formation, and in some cases, the form in '-ist' approaches closely to the agent-noun in '-er', but the semantic difference must be distinguished by the more professional sense which it implies. In addition, I suggest a possibility that a 'static' musical instrument noun can change into a 'dynamic' one through the '-er' addition to the noun, which leads to the verbalization of the noun.

Management of university becomes a critical issue because of competition for acquiring students due to the declining birthrate. However the research of this area have been mainly focused on the analysis of financial health based on the size or selectivity of universities and professionalization of staff or cooperation between staff and faculty and the approach from the organizational point of view remains unexplored field. This paper examines the university management and organization focusing on private universities. Three areas-governance, personnel system and organizational climate are focused on as the organizational characteristics and the relationship between university organization and adequacy of the student quotas of enrollment is examined. University governance such as strength of autonomy of faculty and president of board of trustees from a founding family or not and organizational climate such as sharing of goals have some important effect on the financial health of universities on the one hand, but personnel system has no clear influence while it improves work motivation of staff.

本稿は、占領期日本における英語教育構想を新制中学校の外国語科の成立過程に焦点を当てながら明らかにすることを目的とする。占領初期の米国国務省案は、民主的な教育制度の確立要件として英語教育とその大衆化を掲げた。これがSFEの勧告となり、それをCIが具体化したことによって新制中学校に外国語科が導入された。一方、文部省は導入に消極的な姿勢を示しており、導入を決定づけた英語教育構想は、米国政府から提出されたものだったと指摘できる。
