大分大学高等教育開発センター主催の本講演会は、「協育」ネットワーク推進事業の一環として開催され、学生の教養としての学びを深めるとともに、地域でのボランティア活動として大切にされている「読み聞かせ」などの読書支援ボランティアについての意識の醸成を目的としています。今回は、長年にわたり、本と人をつなぐ仕事をされてこられた川島久美子氏に、昨年度、本学においでいただいた『童話作家あまんきみこ氏』の魅力や作品を友人の立場から語っていただき、また、東北の方言による「語り」の実演を交え、「語りと絵本の世界」のご講話をお願いしました。講演会終了後、同じ講演を聞いた者同志、読書支援に関わることにおいての喜びや悩みなどを語り合い、横の繋がりをつくりながら、これからの活動に役立てていただければと願って、前回同様、交流会を企画しました。

地震動の強さを評価するための指標として地震動エネルギーに着目し,国内の地震観測記録を用いモーメントマグニチュードと等価震源距離を説明変数として地震動エネルギーの距離減衰式を求めた.距離減衰式のばらつきや,本震と余震との関係から,地震動エネルギーの方が最大加速度値や最大速度値よりも地震の規模や距離に応じて安定的に地震動の強さを評価できることが分かった.また,ウエーブレット変換により地震動エネルギーの周波数特性について検討した.地震動エネルギーの特性は,オメガスクエアモデルと整合しており,地震動の強さを評価する指標として合理的であることがわかった.

Abstract The term shakoshin , literally the desire for happiness resulting from chance circumstances, is used in relation to the regulation of gambling, in reference to a psychological state in which an individual desires property benefits by chance. In this paper,gambling is divided into three types for the analysis of shakoshin . (1) Touji type: The parties have no involvement in the result at all; (2) Hakugi type: The parties cannot participate in the result, but they can participate in selecting the target for a winning bet;(3) Yuugi t ype: T he parties may be involved in t he result t o some extent or other. The factors contributing to the stimulation of shakoshin are classified as “reward expectation effects” based on the magnitude of property profits, “probability expectation effects” based on the probability of property being gained, and “internal control effects” related to the parties’ involvement. These three effects allowed us to identify differences in the nature of each form of gambling activity.【抄録】ギャンブル等の規制に使われる「射幸心」であるが、これは語義的には「偶然の幸せを頼む心」であるが、規制においては「偶然の財産的利益を欲する心理状況」の意味で使われる。本研究では、ギャンブルの性質を( 1 )賭事型:当事者が結果に全く関与できないもの( 2 )博戯型:当事者は結果には関与できが、当選対象を選択することに当事者が関与できるもの( 3 )遊技型:当事者が多少に関わらず結果に関与できるものに分類した。 また射幸性を誘発する要素を、財産的利益の大小を基準とする「報酬期待効果」と、得られる確率を基準とする「確率期待効果」、行為者の関与に関わる「内部統制効果」に分類して分析した。この3 つの効果により各ギャンブルの性質の違いを明らかにした。

Investigation of intergranular regions of fine-grained metamorphic rocks using various electron microscopy reveals the presence of intergranular pores previously filled with an aqueous fluid. Such intergranular fluid inclusions exhibit a characteristic shape which minimizes interfacial energy at intergranular regions. The distribution of the inclusions indicates that they were formed from fluid filled intergranular microcracks that ovulated into inclusions due to the initially unstable form of a fluid film at grain boundaries. A simple calculation of interfacial stresses produced by anisotropic thermal contraction of quartz grains during cooling of the quartz aggregate demonstrates that most grain boundaries in crustal rocks experience intense intergranular cracking accompanied by infiltration of fluids. Presence of the fluid filled cracks might explain the observations of low electrical resistivity and seismic wave speeds at middle to shallow crustal depths. The inhibition of the crack formation due to the interfacial stress relaxation in ductile crustal regions results in higher electrical resistivity and seismic wave speeds at greater deep. Intergranular chemical components in mantle rocks are ubiquitously found in mantle xenoliths. We can attribute these components to intergranular melts which were present in the mantle.

The connectivity of grain-edge fluid channels in the lower crust and mantle is controlled mainly by the solid-liquid dihedral angle. To explain the change in equilibrium dihedral angle at elevated temperature and pressure, as observed in laboratory experiments, we developed two kinds of statistical thermodynamic models: a lattice-like model based on the Gibbs theory of adsorption, and a model based on the Cahn-Hilliard theory of non-uniform systems. The models perform well in explaining experimental data on dihedral angles in the forsterite-H2O system. The complicated temperature dependence of dihedral angle in the quartz-H2O system is possibly explained by the occurrence of multilayered adsorption.

近年インターネットやモバイル端末の急速な普及によって鉄道においても様々なIT活用サービスが提案されている。本開発では切符の機能をモバイル端末で実現する鉄道向け電子チケット(以下デジタルチケットと呼ぶ)システムを構築した。デジタルチケットは切符の取引や予約をモバイル環境で可能にし「いつでもどこでも切符が買えて、そのまま改札を通過できる」という利便性が期待できる。実現にあたっては、(1)チケット取引・使用の安全性確保 (2)モバイル端末での操作利便性の実現 (3)自動改札判定の高機能対応と高速化、といった主要な課題を解決した。評価システムの構築、実現性の検証、実用化に向けての課題について考察する。また、デジタルチケットの実現により新たに創出が可能となるサービスを検討し、一例として運用を予定している「自動改札機連動モバイル情報配信サービス:goopas(グーパス)」について、その概要を紹介する。The Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) System has started change the form of tickets from magnetic ones to IC cards and prepaid cards. On the other hand, the explosive spread of cellular phones has induced the idea of building an IC card into cellular phones carried by commuters so that the cellular phones will incorporate a train ticket function. The users can expect the convenience that they can buy virtual tickets anywhere and anytime and pass the ticket gates. The following technical themes are important items awaiting solution for mobile equipments to handle digital tickets. This paper reports a solution to the items with an evaluation result and the actualization of solution. (1) Security in dealing with or using digital tickets (2) Ease of use of function built into PDA and cellular phone units (3) Improvement in the response speed of an automatic ticket gates. Furthermore, realization of a digital ticket considered the service whose creation is newly attained. As an example, we introduce the outline about the information distribution service interlocked with the automatic ticket gates.

ロシア・アヴァンギャルドの特徴のひとつは、芸術実践が科学理論と密接に関連していることである。具体的なモチーフのレベルでは、共産主義社会における「新しい人間」の創造が特に重要なものとして科学と芸術に共通して現れる。生理学・遺伝学その他の分野における科学の発展によって、アヴァンギャルド芸術においてもこのモチーフに対する関心が高まった。イデオロギーと世界観のレベルでは、ユートピア思想が科学と芸術の双方に見られる。記号論を援用してメタ・レベルで考察した場合、芸術と科学は世界を認識する方法として相互補完的であり、一方の言語/概念を他方の言語/概念に「翻訳」することが非常に生産的な成果を生むことがわかる。

近年,地球温暖化防止をキーワードに政府政策として"エネルギーの使用の合理化に関する法律"が出来,2010年4月より,CO<SUB>2</SUB>排出量の報告が義務付になりました。この様な背景のもとあらゆる電気設備に於いて省エネルギー開発の導入が加速して参りました。日本の電力消費量の内空調機が占める割合の多さ(全体の約30%(推測)2,666億kWh・空調機の占めるCO<SUB>2</SUB>排出量約1億4,796万トン)に着目をし,空調機器の革新的省エネ装置としてこのたび電気を使わない凝縮促進装置「ダブル冷却のび太くん」,空調設備の省コスト・省エネ・長寿命化を実現致しました。従来の機器そのままに熱交換(凝縮促進部)を追設するだけで年間の消費電力量を削減し,電気代を15%~25%削減が可能になりました。CO<SUB>2</SUB>削減にも大きく貢献します。"のび太くん"は,CO<SUB>2</SUB>特定排出業者に指定されている大手企業から中小企業まで取り上げられ今日まで約7,000台以上の実績を積み上げ,その効果は実証されて参りました。<BR>ダブル冷却のび太くんはエアコン(冷房),ショーケース,冷凍・冷蔵庫,冷凍車など冷凍に関わるすべての機器に適応する新システムです。エアコン(冷房)を24時間稼動する店舗・コンビニエンスストア・病院・老健施設や,冷凍冷蔵庫や冷凍車などの流通・物流施設におすすめです。

Background: Perceived benefits and barriers to exercise are important correlates of exercise participation. Purpose: To develop a short version of the perceived benefits and barriers to exercise scale and to examine its validity and reliability. Methods: A population-based cross-sectional study of 865 participants (age: 20-69 years old, men: 46.5%) was conducted in four cities in Japan (Koganei, Tshukuba, Shizuoka, Kagoshima). Perceived benefits and barriers scale including five benefit subscales (physical benefit, psychological benefit, social benefit, weight management, self-improvement) with 10 items, five barrier subscales (discomfort, lack of motivation, lack of time, lack of social support, poor physical environment) with 10 items and stage of change for exercise behavior were assessed by self-administered questionnaire. Results: Confirmatory factor analyses to examine the construct validity revealed acceptable fit indices (benefit scale: GFI=.980, AGFI=.951, RMSEA=.058, AIC=151.669, barrier scale: GFI=.973, AGFI=.949, RMSEA=.060, AIC=166.084). Seven of ten subscales indicated significant linear associations with stage of change for exercise behavior, criterion-related validity was revealed. The reliability of the scale was found to be good as internal consistency and inter-rater reliability. Conclusion: The short version of the perceived benefits and barriers scale developed in this study demonstrated acceptable construct validity, criterion-related validity, internal consistency and inter-rater reliability.
