In this paper we propose a new plan recognition method from observations of incomplete action sequences by regarding them as prefixes in a probabilistic context-free grammar (PCFG). In previous work that uses a PCFG for plan recognition, the PCFG receives a sentence, i.e. an observation of complete action sequences to recognize the plan behind it. However, when we deal with real plan recognition problems such as the Web access log analysis, we often cannot have complete sequences of actions and the traditional PCFG approach is not applicable. To overcome this difficulty, we extend the probability computation of PCFGs to prefix probability computation though it requires an infinite sum of probabilities. We applied the proposed method to infer the intended goals of Web site visitors from the online and partial observations of their actions. Also we compared the performance of plan recognition from observations of initial sequences of visitors' actions with that from full observations.

本研究は、高次脳機能障害者の社会復帰を目指した包括的リハビリとして有効とされている園芸活動の検証を行った。 調査対象地は、園芸活動が実施されている、高次脳機能障害者支援センターAとした。分析対象は、利用者が園芸活動後に記述した感想とし、5年間、計129回分をパソコンを用いてテキストデータ化した。分析には、フリーのテキストマイニングソフトであるKH coderを用いた。分析方法は、感想の全体像を探るため、頻出語句の抽出と階層クラスター分析を行った。さらに、頻出回数の多い語句について、共起ネットワークを用いて詳細な分析を行った。 結果、多くの利用者は、園芸活動に対して肯定的な感想を持つことが明らかとなった。「美味しい」という語句は、収穫や調理といった生活技能の訓練と共起することが明らかとなった。このことから、園芸活動では、収穫したものを美味しく食べることで、生活技能を習得する訓練を利用者が肯定的に捉えてることが明らかとなった。 以上より、高次脳機能障害者支援センターにおいて、園芸活動は、社会性の向上や生活技能の習得を図る包括的リハビリとしての有効性が示唆された。

The purpose of this study was to examine friendship in adolescence and how it changed in each developmental stage. A questionnaire regarding friendship was created. Subjects were 579 students. They were junior high-school, high-school and university students. As the result of the factor analysis, the friendship was categorized by the two-dimensional space. One axis conserned the intimacy of their friendship ; and the other axis consisted on the number of their friends. Junior high school students tended to make many friends but their relationships were not so intimate. As they grew older, they tried to have more intimate friendships with just a few friends.

In Japan, School Board was regulated by School Board Law for 1948-1956. In this law, there was the clause about openness of school board congress and announcement of convocation of congress. The congress had to hold an open hearing to the public and announcement had to be done for several days before congress was convoked. But there was the clause too in which the chairman of school board could shorten the days of announcement. It could be done in situation of emergency. This exception of the law had applied when government dismissed teachers. This exception about emergency was controlled discretion but it was written only that the clause was adopted when it was in emergency. So this was interpreted as discretion about requirement. In this paper, two cases are studied. In the first case, The School Board Law was still existed. School Board terminated a teacher but juridical decision rejected this termination because it hadn't recognized the situation as emergency. In the second case, School Board Law had repealed and the new law didn't stipulate an order that congress had to hold an open hearing to the public. The chairman's decision of emergency and of skipping the announcement was certified by juridical judge and some teachers were dismissed by undesirable discharge for the reason of advanced age. And in this case, it was the reason of emergency that the budget of next year would decrease and teachers should have dismissed before new budget year started. So this situation of emergency was internalized in the system of routine yearly budget : normal situation.

本論の目的は,大月市の郷土料理である「おつけだんご」を事例にして,持続可能な地域活性化のモデルを提示することにある。そのために,B級グルメ大会で優勝実績のある「富士宮やきそば」と「厚木シロコロ・ホルモン」の活動を参考に,食による地域活性化の成功要因を整理することから始めた。そしてその成功要因を前提に,B級グルメ大会の出場結果から,大月市の郷土料理の検証を行った。こうした検証結果を踏まえ,大月市を活性化させるためのスローフードをベースにした地域ブランドの構築に関わるモデルを新たに提示する。

本研究では東アジアの複数の地域(日本、中国、香港、台湾、シンポール、韓国、北朝鮮)および複数の視聴覚メディア(テレビ、映画、レコード、ラジオ)を対象に、地域間・メディア間の相互連関性を検討した。各年度に行われた国際ワークショップや国際シンポジウムを通じ、国内外の研究者が多様なディシプリンを持ち寄ったことで、東アジアに固有の相互連関の具体的様態についても明らかにすることができた。本研究の成果は論文集として公刊される予定である。

会社やマンションなど, 不審人物の侵入を防ぎたい管理施設の入口において, より信頼性が高く利用しやすいセキュリティシステムが望まれている. そこで, 顔画像照合の結果により入口の解錠を決定する解錠制御システムを試作した. 実用的な解錠制御システム開発の観点から顔画像照合を検討し, 顔画像照合手法を, 入力画像からの顔領域の抽出, 顔領域の大きさ・傾き正規化と顔部品照合で構成した. 信頼性の高い照合実現のため, 目頭検出による精度の高い顔領域の大きさ・傾きの正規化を用いた. また, 目・鼻・口といった特徴的な顔部品を照合対象とすることにより, 眼鏡や髪型などの偽証しやすい部分を照合領域から排除している. 顔部品照合において本人のものか否かを決定するしきい値は統計的に決定した. 実際にシステムの性能について評価した結果, 本人の入室許可が92.2%, 他人の入室拒否が99.6%という照合成功率を得た.
