Various podophyllotoxin derivatives from desoxypodophyllotoxin (DPT) were synthesized to examine the structural relationships between the biological significance (cytotoxic effect, effects on DNA topoisomerase II and tubulin polymerization) in vitro and antitumor activity in vivo (L 1210).An intact 6, 7-methylenedioxy group of DPT is necessary to inhibit tubulin polymerization and topoisomerase II. 4'-Phenolic hydroxyl group of DPT is essential to inhibit DNA topoisomerase II and the inhibitory effect on DNA topoisomerase II contributes to a high cytotoxicity.The introduction of an aminoalkoxy group at 1-position of DPT enhances the inhibitory activity against DNA topoisomerase II and cytotoxic effect, causing the inhibitory activity against tubulin polymerization to disappear. The results of antitumor test in mice bearing L 1210 on podophyllotoxin derivatives suggest the following : 1) the strong cytotoxic effect itself is not a good indication of antitumor activity in vivo as long as it is associated with inhibition of tubulin polymerization. DNA topoisomerase II inhibitory effect contributes to an antitumor activity in vivo; 2) detailed measurements of cytotoxicity and inhibition on DNA topoisomerase II and tubulin polymerization in vitro are necessary to evaluate podophyllotoxin derivatives.

帝制ドイツ建設期における国内市場の在り方をめぐる議論には, 二つの対立する見解-「統合」論と「地域分化」論-がみられる。国内市場形成の錠を握る鉄道建設の進展及びそれにともなう商品流通の深化は, なるほどドイツ経済の「統合」に促進的ではあったが, 地域間競争を排除するものではなかった。即ち, 長距離の幹線建設が地域的市場相互間の商品流通を促進し, 統一的な国内市場の形成に寄与したのに対し, ローカル線建設は工業生産の中心地を核に地域経済的循環を強化することすらあった。こうした脈絡のうちに帝制期フランケン地方の商品流通構造を確定すれば, 次のようになる。ニュールンベルクの工業生産と周辺地域の農業生産との間にみられる分業関係は, 同地方の再生産の基底をなしていた。しかし, 同地方は工業原料及び同製品の調達にあたり, 中部ドイツを始めとする国内のさまざまな地域と市場関係を結ぶ一方, 農産物の地域内自給率は相当高いにせよ, 南バイエルンの穀物生産との関係も無視できない。こうした流通構造は, フランケン地方に二種類の市場的な展望を開かせることになる。即ち, 同地方の農産物と中部ドイツの工業生産物の交換の可能性は, 前者の後者への市場的包摂を展望するものであり, またフランケン地方の工業製品と南バイエルンの農産物の交換は, 「バイエルン」市場をも展望しうる。にもかかわらず, 同地方は隣接地域の市場形成力が衝突し, 相殺しあうという緊張関係の為に, 地域内の分業関係が豊かに形成され, また逆に, 地域内分業の進展が隣接市場への包摂を阻止するという均衡状態にあった。その際, 流通の結節点であり, また地域的な生産拠点であるニュールンベルクの位置は, そこから放射線状に伸びる鉄道によって確固たるものとなっていた。

In our experiment we asked 201 female college/junior-college students as subjects to judge body silhouettes that consisted of all possible pairs of ten female junior-college students' photographs. We analyzed the data of the pair-wised comparisons in terms of multidimensional scaling and found that the preference of body silhouettes had two dimensions. A multiple regression analysis was also applied to examine the relationship between the somatometric measures of body silhouettes and the two dimensions of preference. As a result, it was found that female college/junior-college students had a tendency to attach importance to the side of the body when they judged silhouettes and they were likely to prefer a body silhouette having a narrow-angled thinner abdomen, and a thicker bust and hips.

This paper clarifies urban formation and transformation of Shangxiahang area in the city of Fuzhou. Fuzhou, which is known as Rong chen (Banyan castle), had developed as a port city since the period of Ming Dynasty after the decline of Quanzhou. Authors selected the old district of the port area of Fuzhou. There still exist two types of traditional house typeswhich are da-cuo and chai lan cuo (shou-jin-liao inQuanzhou city). Da-cuo is the form of quadrangle, si-he-yuan, but here in Shangxiahang area, we have the 2nd floor type of Da-cuo, which are very rare in Fujian district. Discussing relationships between house types of Da cuo and chai lan cuo leads to understand the development and transformation process of house types. This paper clarifies the characteristics of house types and their transformation process of Shangxiahang area in the city of Fuzhou.
