本研究は,精神科入院病棟に勤務する看護師から,直面している問題,葛藤,悩みなどを聴取し,精神科入院看護の根本にどのような問題が内包されているのかを探り出すことを目的とした。対象者は看護師10名で,KJ法に基づき,インタビュー内容で得られた70項目をカテゴリー化及び構造化した。その結果,6つの要因を見いだし,6要因はさらに,中核要因である「ビジョンのない看護」と,内部要因すなわち「看護者間の相互理解の困難さ」及び「患者尊重の欠如」,そして外部要因すなわち「不十分な退院環境」,「他職種との未熟な関係」,「規則・法律と現実との乖離」とに分けられた。そして,内部要因と外部要因は,中核要因と相関関係あるいは因果関係にあると捉えられ,悪循環を形成している状況が推測された。精神科医療における看護業務の役割を明確化し,「ビジョンのない看護」からの脱却を図り,これらの悪循環を解消する試みを始める必要がある。

当科では1980年1月より1985年8月までの間に685例の患者に対し計1, 194回の経直腸的超音波断層検査を行い, 得られた断層像より前立腺重量, 前後径左右径比, 仮想円面積比等を計測してきた。前立腺癌症例19例, 手術適応となった前立腺肥大症症例42例, 前立腺炎症例145例, 正常例180例の計測結果を集計し, 以下の知見を得た.1) 前立腺炎症例では正常例に比べ, 重量は低値, 前後径左右径比, 仮想円面積比は高値を示したが, いずれも有意ではなかった.2) 前立腺癌症例, 前立腺肥大症症例とも, 正常例, 前立腺炎症例に比べ, 重量, 前後径左右径比, 仮想円面積比がいずれも有意に増加していた。3) 前立腺癌症例では前立腺肥大症症例に比べ, 前後径左右径比, 仮想円面積比の増加の割に重量があまり増加せず, また仮想円面積比が同程度であっても前後径左右径比がより増加していた.

先島諸島の西表島から2個体のワキグロアカフエダイ(新称)(Lutjanus timorensis)が採集された.本種の出現は, 日本沿岸水域からは, 初めての記録であり, 本種の最も北限の記録になる.本種は, 胸鰭の脇および基部が黒色を呈し, 背鰭, 轡鰭及び尾鰭軟条部縁辺が非常に尖ることと縁辺の黒い幅が明瞭に広いことにより, 同属の類似する赤いフエダイ類と容易に区別される

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Ca²⁺- and Mg²⁺-free culture conditions on induction of spontaneous first cleavage in rat oocytes. Oocytes recovered from superovulated Wistar females 17 h after hCG injection were exposed for 1.5 h to Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-free, Ca²⁺-free, Mg²⁺-free, or control mKRB medium supplemented with 5 μg/ml cytochalasin-B (CB). The oocytes were then cultured for 4.5 h in control medium containing CB and for 28 h in CB-free control medium. The oocytes exposed to the Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-free medium (23%) cleaved better than those exposed to Ca²⁺-free (8%), Mg²⁺-free (0%), or control (0%) media. The cleavage rates of oocytes recovered 12, 17 and 22 h after hCG injection and exposed to the Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-free medium were 4, 17 and 22%, respectively. The efficiency of oocyte activation in 1.25 mM Sr²⁺ treatment for 6 h was not influenced by the culture background of bivalent cations (cleavage rates: both 49% in Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-free and Ca²⁺-free medium). These results indicate that Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-free culture condition induced the spontaneous first cleavage of rat oocytes in an age dependent manner, but had no additional effect on Sr²⁺-induced oocyte activation.

The carangid genus Decapterus Bleeker, 1851 is characterized by single finlets behind both the second dorsal and anal fins, no scutes along the anterior curved part of the lateral line, two low papillae on the shoulder girdle, and a well-developed adipose eyelid. Members of the genus are distributed in tropical to temperate areas of the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic oceans, and are commercially important food fishes. Four species (D. akaadsi Abe, 1958, D. kurroides Bleeker, 1855, D. smithvanizi Kimura, Katahira and Kuriiwa, 2013 and D. tabl Berry, 1968), characterized by a red caudal fin, are included in the red-fin Decapterus group. In 2016 and 2018, three specimens [216–304 mm in standard length (SL)] of D. kurroides, previously recorded from the Red Sea and east coast of Africa to the east coast of Australia and the Philippines, were collected from Kumano-nada, Pacific coast of Mie Prefecture, Japan. Additionally, a single specimen (191 mm SL) collected from Japanese waters in the East China Sea (west of Kyushu) in 2006 was also identified as D. kurroides. The specimens represent the first records of the species from Japanese waters, the Kumano-nada specimens being the northernmost record for the species. Decapterus kurroides is the most similar to D. akaadsi, but differs from the latter in the following characters: scutes more numerous on the straight part of the lateral line (30–32 vs. 26–29 in D. akaadsi), longer head (head length 29.9–33.0% SL vs. 26.7–30.1%) and longer snout-anus distance (55.8–60.4% SL vs. 51.2–54.6%) [measurements for both species modified from Kimura et al., (2013)]. Decapterus kurroides is also distinguishable from D. smithvanizi and D. tabl by having fewer cycloid scales on the curved part of the lateral line (45–52 vs. 54–62 in D. smithvanizi, 61–72 in D. tabl) and a deeper body (body depth 23.4–27.2% SL vs. 19.4–22.5%, 16.6–23.0%). A new standard Japanese name “Kitsune-akaaji” is proposed for D. kurroides.

本研究の概要は、現代の妊娠・出産・産後を危機的状況にあると捉え、医療、女性の身体、子供の命といったさまざまな切り口から、妊娠・出産・産後の現状を総合的に解明することである。現状を変えていくための処方箋を提示する、緊急を要した実践・応用人類学の研究と位置づけられる。現代の妊娠・出産・産後の現状をインタビューも含めた文化人類学の参与観察によって解明し、エスノグラフィーを作成する点に特徴がある。
