これまでの日本におけるスポーツとジェンダーに関する研究の多くは、ステレオタイプに基づいた女性選手像とそれを報道するマスメディア批判に終始している。女性たちは、歴史的にスポーツの発展に貢献していることが明らかにもかかわらず、表象においては、保守的な男女の性役割に基づいた言説におしとどめられてきた。フィギュアスケートは、かつて男性のスポーツとされていたが、女子選手が進出し、今日では女性のためのスポーツとさえ言われている。こうしたなかで、女子選手がどのように表象されてきたのかを分析することは重要と思われる。本論文では、1920年代から1930年代に活躍し「銀盤の女王」と呼ばれたソニヤ・ヘニーを取り上げる。彼女の氷上での功績および映画での役柄、実人生を見ながら、女子フィギュアスケーターがどのように表象され、どのように位置づけられてきたのかを歴史的コンテクストに着目して考察する。まず、1900年以降においては、フィギュアスケートの発展に貢献した4人の女性たちに着目し、彼女たちの功績があってヘニーの活躍が可能になったことに言及する。つぎに、1930年代にヘニーが出演した映画作品6本からヒロインの表象のされ方を明らかにする。それによって、「銀盤の女王」のステレオタイプがどのように形成されたのかを分析する。そして、どのように新しい理想の女性像が出現し、その一つであったはずの「銀盤の女王」が保守的で伝統的な男性中心の思想により歪曲されてしまったのかを論じる。

Web アプリケーション開発では,クライアントサイドの JavaScript を利用するスタイルが積極的に行われるようになった.本論文では,クライアントサイドで JavaScript を活用した Web アプリケーションにおける,認証認可処理の実装方法について検討を行う.通常の Web アプリケーションでは,ログインページや認証,認可の処理をすべてサーバ側で行う.一方で JavaScript を活用した Web アプリケーションでは,サーバとクライアントの双方での処理分担を設計する必要がある.本論文では,ページ遷移を引き起こす事なく認証認可の処理を実現するための,クライアントとサーバサイドでの処理割当について考察を行い,その割当に基づき効率的に Web アプリケーションを開発するためのフレームワークを開発した.クライアント側に処理機能があることから,その機能をアプリケーション開発者が意図していない利用をする可能性があり,その点から考えられる対策についても検討した.

In "Mosses from an Old Manse" (1846), Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804-64) paradoxically dropped off his mask to blurt, "So far as I am a man of really individual attributes, I veil my face." In making sure of his hidden undissembled intention regarding the author-reader communion, this paper treats "The Minister's Black Veil" (1836), a short fiction written during Hawthorne's apprenticeship to become a professional writer. "The Minister's Black Veil" depicts the unintelligible behavior of the Reverend Hooper, who wears a black veil. Critics are divided over the problem of whether Hooper merits praise or harsh criticism. Existentially aware of the meaning of life, or to use Heidegger's phraseology, Dasein, Hooper warns his parishioners, it seems, of how foolish it is to stay ignorant in plausibly blissful daily activities. If closely inspected, however, Hooper is far from being an Existentialist. He forcefully imposes the same identity as sinners on one and all parishioners, in the name of Puritanism and its dogmatic doctrine, the notion of total depravity. He shows unawares his totalitarian inclination toward essentialism ---- the sort of attitude that Existentialists denounce. Furthermore, he neglects to hold communion with his parishioners and even with God, and thus incarcerates himself in his own solipsistic realm. When we recall the author's above-mentioned confession of "I veil my face," we confront this question: How close is Hawthorne to Hooper the veiled minister? The Deconstructionist Paul de Man points out that, because of its etiological definition of speaking about something other than itself, the deconstruction of the allegory is part of the allegory itself. From this perspective, we can understand that it is impossible for Hooper to allegorically represent the w/Word(s) (of God), the Origin, and the Cause (of Sin) with the use of his black veil, the proxy, symbol, letter, and or language with which he hopes to allegorically convince the congregation of the Puritan notion of total depravity. Aware of how he appears to the eyes of his parishioners, Hooper stops associating with them. He is openly avoided and secretly ridiculed by men and women, young and old. In these adverse circumstances, the degree of their misapprehension over the reason for his veil deepens all the more. In a negative way, Hooper exemplifies the process of what the leading Deconstructionist Jacques Derrida calls "Differance" and attests to Derrida's insistence that allegory deconstructs itself. More than a decade after publishing this story, Hawthorne became a canonical writer by dint of his masterpiece, The Scarlet Letter (1850). But around this time he also suffered severe hardships, most of which sprang from misunderstanding on the part of his contemporaries : he was expelled from the sinecure position at the custom house, targeted in a hate campaign by Charles Upham, and incurred the displeasure of locals through his sarcastic depiction of the locally employed officers at the custom house. Moreover, since the 1980s, Hawthorne's support for Franklin Pierce, the notoriously pro-lavery politician who went on to win the presidency, has induced left-minded critics to undermine the writer's literary reputation. In his apprenticeship to become a professional writer, Hawthorne already depicted his future self in the image of Hooper. Portraying both Hooper's liability to be a victim of misapprehension and his resigned acceptance of this fate, the author predicted the fate that was to befall him later in life and after his death. Through the Reverend Hooper, Hawthorne paradoxically allegorized his own nature of veiled otherness in the form of desacralized allegory/parable, and conveyed the difficulty of how to face the unexposed foreign self.

【目的】小児の予定小手術に際し実施すべき術前検査に関する一定の基準は示されておらず, 検査の内容は施設ごとに相違がある.今回, 小児の予定小手術における術前ルーチン検査の有用性および必要性について検討を行った.【対象と方法】全身麻酔下の予定小手術を目的に入院した1,005例の1,069回の入院を対象に, ルーチンに実施された術前検査の異常の有無と, 手術の中止(延期)ならびに周術期合併症に関し後方視的に検討した.【結果】入院後の手術中止は33回(33例)(3.1%)で, その理由は感冒症状が29例, 乳児肝炎, 鉄欠乏性貧血が各1例, 社会的理由が2例であった.乳児肝炎と鉄欠乏性貧血の症例は術前検査でそれぞれトランスアミナーゼの高値と貧血を指摘され手術が中止された.CRPの高値10例も手術が中止になったが, 全例感冒症状をともなっており, CRPのみを理由に中止された症例はなかった.尿検査, 胸部X線および心電図の異常により手術が中止された症例は認めなかった.周術期の合併症として高血圧を1例に認めたが, その他, 術前検査やその異常に関連する合併症は認めなかった.【結論】小児予定小手術の術前ルーチン検査の有用性を積極的に支持する根拠は乏しく, 問診, 理学所見とその結果, 必要な検査で術前評価を行っても安全に麻酔, 手術を実施し得る可能性が示唆された.特に尿検査, 心電図は手術の可否の判断を目的としたルーチン検査としては不要で, 血液検査も血算, 肝機能, 感染症のチェックなどに限定し得ると考えられた.

In the present paper, the results of the experi-ments on the relation between oxidation-reduction potentials, Fe^.. and H₂5 contents in soils, and the submersion tolerance or excess-moisture injury of the fruit-tree roots are reported with special reference to fig, peach, pear, apple, persimmon and grape. The results are summarized as follows.<br> 1. The growth of fruit-tree shoots were stopped by excess-moisture or water-lodging in the soils having following values of Eh₆<br> Fig 360_??_370m. v.<br> Peach 330_??_350m. v.<br> Pear and Apple 260_??_280m. v.<br> Persimmon 200m. v.<br> Grape 170_??_180m. v.<br> Shoot growths of pear, apple, persimmon and grape were inhibited gradually from the neigh-bourhood of ca. 300m. v.<br> 2. Fe^..-formation in soils increased as the oxi-dation-reduction potentials failed, and the amount of Fe^.. extracted by HCl (pH 3) solution was ca. 20mg at 300m. v., ca. 30mg at 200m. v. and 60_??_70mg at 100m. v., per 100g. dry soil. There-fore, the root system of fig or peach was impeded mainly by oxygen-deficiency before Fe^.. was formed abundantly in soil. On the other hand, the impediment of root system in the case of pear or apple was derived from a large amount of Fe^.. formed by remarkable reduction in soils, and moreover, when approximately 30 mg Fe^..<br>was formed in soils on persimmon or grape.<br> 3. When the soils were water-lodged, the higher organic matter content in soil, the more rapid Eh falling and more the amounts of Fe^.. and HsS formed. Accordingly, the more high organic matter content in soil, the more remarkable the injury of root system of fruittree caused by excess-moisture.<br> 4. Fig and peach were susceptible, pear was middle and grape and persimmon were resistant. Parallelism between resistance of root system to Fe^.. and H₂S, and submersion tolerance of root was found. And it was suggested that the differ-ence of resistance to excess-moisture injury was caused by the difference of oxidation power of root towards the exterior.

神仏が人々に生きる術をはじめ意志を告げる託宣は、文である場合と和歌である場合とがある。この託宣和歌には様々な問題が内在し、一筋縄にはいかない。そもそも託宣和歌の射程は独り和歌史上だけの問題ではない。本稿でもふれた天照皇太神神詠「阿弥陀仏と唱ふる人のむなしくは」歌が徳川秀忠筆『三社託宣』に記されていることはすでにふれた(拙稿「三社託宣と和歌」、『女子大國文』一二六号、平成十一年十二月)。故に教訓書は勿論、信仰掛軸の問題へも及ぶこととなる。本稿では、祗園神の託宣和歌に限定して、託宣和歌に関する問題点の種々相を考えようとした。「八雲たつ」歌を中心に神詠と託宣和歌の境目を、「長きよの」歌を中心に異伝・異文関係にあるとされる託宣和歌の扱い方を、「わがやどに」歌を中心に託宣の結果を確認する必要性を、述べた。

廃棄物処理法上では産業廃棄物の処理については、住民反対等による処理施設の立地困難な状況から、広域処理体制が敷かれているものの、不法投棄等の原因が県外廃棄物であることの影響により、各自治体が県内に流入してくる廃棄物の規制を取っている。そのため、当会では各自治体の流入指導状況を調査し、現状の課題を抽出提案した。

エンタティメントのゲームソフトに必要なAI技術は、旧来のチェスプログラムなどに流用されていたノウハウとは多少異なる点がある。対人競技性という要素が強調されなくなったゲームソフトにおいては、対戦者ではなく、演技者、演出者としてのAIが必要になってくると思われる。The technology needed for the entertainment game software is somewhat differences which used for the chess program. Game software which lose the contest elements needs no more computer contender. It needs the AI cast and the AI director for entertain player.
