本年度は尊氏・義詮期の公武関係を中心に研究を行った。従来当該テーマの研究は、公武の訴訟管轄、意思伝達システムなどの制度史的考察が中心であった。近年、公家家督の認定者が義詮期に室町殿に移行することが指摘されているが、治天の君の権限が室町殿に吸収されていくという従来の図式をでるものではない。そこで本研究では公家社会の根幹にかかわる公家所領の没収・安堵、儀式の運営への公武のかかわり方を検証し、公武関係の枠組みを仮説的に示すことをめざした。1. 公家所領の没収・安堵については、観応擾乱にともなう、不参公家の処分、回復の過程に注目した。まず南朝側の北朝貴族に対する厳しい処遇などの影響で、北朝貴族が北朝の治天の君を絶対視しなくなる傾向が見られること、かかる事態に対し、室町殿は旗幟不鮮明な北朝貴族の処分を実行したことを明らかにした。さらに室町殿による処分は、北朝の治天の君に諮られ、没収所領の返付については輪旨が発給されていることを指摘し、室町殿の行動は北朝の治天の君からの権限吸収ではなく、むしろその権威の維持をめざす行動と評価すべきであるとの仮説を示した。2. 公家儀式の研究では、『太平記』末尾部に天皇の朝儀復興の意志と武家の支持によって開催されたと位置づけられている貞治6年中殿御会に注目し、天皇の楽器演奏、実際の開催過程の検討という二点から検討を加えた。その結果、御会が天皇が公式行事で笙を吹く最初の機会であり、朝儀の復活と同時に新しい朝儀の始まりをも意味した重要なイベントであったこと、さらに他の記録史料から御会は発案の段階から室町殿の意志が強くはたらいたことがよみとれた。以上の結果、室町殿は北朝の権威を確立し、その権威を独占することを基本的な方針としていたという、1の仮説を補強する見通しを得た。

北部九州での水稲早期栽培の後作を想定し, 6種類の穀類を8月10日〜30日に播種して子実収量をみた. 比較として5月播種も行った. 子実として固定された太陽エネルギーの割合は最大0.2%前後で, キビ, アワ, ソバは5月播種より高かった. 最大葉面積指数は5月播種より小さかった. CGRや乾物生産における太陽エネルギー利用効率は生育前半で5月播種より大きく, 後半で小さくなった. 収量はソルガム, キビ, アワは8月10日播種で151〜131 gm^<-2>であり, 20日播種は低下した. 一方ソバ, オオムギは30日播種でも130, 119gm^<-2>の収量が得られた. ヒエは低収であった. アワは登熟期間の有効積算気温の減少による収量低下程度がソルガム, ヒエに比べて著しく, 一方ソバは収量の変動が少なかった. 8月播種に向く品種改良の可能性は大きいと思われる.

本稿では,日英両言語における感情表現の特徴をコーパスに基づく統計的調査により導出し,得られた結果を用いた感情表現抽出手法の提案を行なう.感情タグ付きパラレルコーパスから得た感情カテゴリごとの感情表現の特徴には感情表現そのものが持つ特徴と周辺の形態素等が持つ特徴とがある.提案手法では,これらの複数の特徴を組み合わせることで,感情表現が示す感情の種類を判定する.具体的には,感情表現を構成する品詞,感情表現の出現位置,感情表現の前後の単語の品詞に着目し,感情表現の抽出を行なった.評価実験の結果,品詞特徴を用いた手法は"喜び" と"嫌悪" において判定精度90%以上という結果を得た.This paper statistically studies the emotional features of Japanese and English based on an emotion annotated parallel corpus and proposes a method for extracting emotional expressions. The proposed method estimates the emotion category of the emotional expressions by focusing on the three kinds of features: part of speech of emotional expression, position of emotional expression and part of speech of the previous/next morpheme of the target emotional expression. The evaluation experiment resulted over 90.0% (joy, hate) of accuracy in the method based on part of speech features.

各咀嚼サイクルにおいて顎関節部荷重がいつ最大値を示すかという問いに対して明確な解答を得るために,さつまいもを咀嚼運動中の一匹の日本サルの顎関節部荷重と両側咬筋筋電図を同時測定した.ハイドロキシアパタイトとチタン酸ジルコン酸鉛セラミックスから構成される微小圧力センサーをサルの左側下顎頭前上方部にインプラントした.圧力センサー出力と筋電図との関係から,各咀嚼サイクルにおける最大荷重は,両側咬筋筋電図において筋活動休止期で発生した.咀嚼相解析の結果,Phase-2,すなわち作業側咬筋筋活動が休止し始める点から最大荷重が発生する点までの期間,の平均値は左側咀嚼では45.3msec,右側咀嚼では55.3msecであった.また,このPhase-2の期間は咀嚼周期にかかわらずほぼ一定であり,左側咀嚼(作業側顎関節)の方が右側咀嚼(非作業側顎関節)の場合よりも変動が小さいことが分かった.これらの結果から,サルの安定した片側咀嚼運動では,下顎頭前上方部に作用する最大荷重は咬合相の終末に発生し,さらにこの期間は咬合相において歯が咬合接触する期間と考えられる.

療養型病床群で老人の夜間不隠行動に,酸棗仁湯が奏効した症例を経験した。症例1は97歳,女性。誤嚥性肺炎を繰り返し,夜間奇声を上げるようになり,当院へ転院。特に夜間病棟中に響きわたる奇声を上げ続けた。酸棗仁湯(TJ-103)7.5gを投与開始後,体位変換,オムツ交換などの際に短時間奇声を上げるだけとなった。その後嚥下訓練を行い,経口摂取が再開できた。症例2は80歳女性。脳出血後後遺症で当院へ転院。夜になると大声を上げるようになった。酸棗仁湯投与後,夜間睡眠が良好となり,日中はリハビリなどで過ごせるようになった。高齢者が増加し痴呆による問題行動に対して対応が苦慮される中で,高齢者の夜間せん妄の中に酸棗仁湯が適応となる病態が存在する可能性が示唆される。

The purpose of this study was to develop an automated acquisition support for the semantics of abbreviations and evaluate its performance with respect to academic articles. Our goal was to support the maintenance of an institution-specific semantics inventory for abbreviations on a continuous basis. We retrieved articles from MEDLINE with the keyword "Liver [MeSH]," and 100 abstracts were randomly selected. Abbreviations and their full forms were retrieved using original Java software based on the following rules. (1) Searching the parentheses in the abstracts, the words inside the parentheses were retrieved as "INNER" and the words in front of the parentheses were retrieved as "OUTER." (2) Matching rules, such as whether the first characters of INNER and OUTER were the same. (3) If the words satisfied the conditions stated at (2), INNER was saved as the abbreviation and OUTER as the full form. Performance was manually evaluated by two graduate students and a radiologist. Of the 165 pairs of abbreviations and full forms that were obtained, 145 (87.9%) constituted correct matches.

Tess Gallagher's short story, "Rain Flooding Your Campfire" is an excellent piece in its own right, but it is also a good example of intertextual dialogue between two writers. When we compare her story with "Cathedral," the quintessential Raymond Carver story, we realize how two writers grow and develop stories differently from the same seed. In Carver's version, he depicts a character drifting toward inertia who is draw back into life through an encounter with a blind guest who is an old friend of the narrator's wife. The climax of the story is the narrator's epiphany in which he opens his mind's eye. On the other hand, in Gallagher's counterpart, the story is narrated from the wife's point of view. Sensitively describing the inner pain of the blind man, which neither Carver nor his protagonist knows or explains, Gallagher shows the readers a highly spiritual and solacing interchange between the female narrator and her old friend. In this article I translate and would like to introduce to the Japanese readers this fine piece almost overshadowed under another famous masterpiece.

For academic high school students in local areas, it is necessary to make geographical transition from their home town to cities to go to "good" universities, while others may decide to remain their home countries to go to local colleges. What factors differentiate students into those two routes to have higher education? For what sake do some students decide to leave for large cities, and others to stay in their home town? This study pays attention to geographical mobility of students in top rank academic high schools in Japan. We administered a survey of 3,767 senior students in 12 high schools, all of which admit academically top students in their areas in 2006 and 2007. By analyzing the survey data, we will explore the following research questions: 1. What factors, including structural and socio-psychological, influences students'decision of mobility both at college entrance and future job entry? 2. What reasons lead them to pursue "elite" universities? Which goals either for self -realization or contribution to the society give rationale to apply for those universities? Are there any different mechanisms of this determination between high schools in large cities and rural areas? 3. What factors influence the formation of students'consciousness to contribute to the society? Do school experiences raise such consciousness? What school activities and cultures affect it? The data analyses shows that academic high schools in local communities have power to influence students'mobility and creating consciousness for devoting for the society.
