運動部に所属する高校生・大学生に食生活調査を行い、次のような結果を得た。1)牛乳の摂取頻度では、高校野球部の75%が「毎日」飲んでいた。2)豆類の摂取頻度では、高校サッカー部が他の運動部に比べ低かった。3)お菓子の摂取頻度では、高校サッカー部が高かった。お菓子の種類は、全ての運動部で「スナック菓子」が8割程度であった。4)エネルギー、カルシウム摂取量では、高校野球部が他の運動部よりも高かった。5)高校野球部は食意識の高いことが伺えた。

情報爆発時代において,情報の個人化を実現するプロファイル技術が注目されている.しかし,現在のプロファイル技術は獲得した閲覧履歴全体からユーザの全閲覧行動における要求の傾向を推測するため,要求の変化を検出するのは困難である.本稿が扱う 「要求」 とは行動への動機の事を指し,10 分程度で変化する性質を持つ.ユーザは要求に基づいてウェブページの閲覧を行う.我々は,ユーザの要求変化は各閲覧履歴の意味的類似度を利用することで検出可能であると考え,閲覧履歴の分類方式を提案する.既存の分類方式では,同じ要求内でも時系列に従い少しずつカテゴリが変化する,複数の異なる要求が並存する,といった閲覧行動の性質のため精度を下げることとなる.そこで,提案方式はこれらの性質を考慮し,クラスタ重心付近に十分な閲覧履歴数が確保できないことを前提とした,局所解重視の分類方式の構築に取り組む.また,既存の分類方式と比較実験を行い,提案方式が既存方式に比べ有効であることを確認した.We propose a clustering method for detecting the change of intention from user's browsing behavior. It is necessary to treat the user's intention accurately in information explosion age. However, treating dynamic intention is difficult for a conventional method, as behavior targeting model. Because the category change little by little in the same intention, and any other intentions exist at same time. For detecting user's intention change in browsing-behavior, we analyze each of browsing-history based on the similarities, and clustering based on local part similarities, in case web history have not a normal distribution. In addition, we evalute on result of an experiment to effectiveness for conventional clustering method.

本論文では、Eric Brillが提案した変換に基づく誤り駆動型学習を日本語の固有表現抽出に適用する方法について述べる。形態素解析と学習で獲得した有限状態変換器(FST)を遣って固有表現の抽出を行うシステムを作成し、IREX (Information Retrieval and Extraction Exercise)の named entity task のformal run (総合ドメイン)に対して実験を行った。約10,000文のCRL固有表現データから1428個のFSTを学習し、F-measure 71.28を得た。人手作成のFSTの性能には及ばないものの、IREX NEに参加するシステムの半数よりもいい結果である。また、過学習が起きないことも確認した。

英国のイングランドとウェールズにおけるナショナル・ガーデン・スキーム(NGS)は,1927年より現在に至るまで組織化されたオープンガーデン(個人庭園の公開)を開催している。本研究はその議事録を中心に,団体が設立されるまでの背景ならびに,その変遷を調査した。その結果,NGSの活動の特色として(1)団体との提携・合併による組織の強化,(2)ナーサリーや小規模な庭園にいたる公開庭園タイプの充実や,茶菓の提供,植物販売という,サービスプログラムの多様化,(3)時代の要請によって寄付先の選択肢の拡大・多様化を行なう一方,庭園主に選択権の一部を委託する運営手法の柔軟性,といった3つがあげられた。

American Association of Fundraising Counsel estimated total charitable contributions in the United States of America at $203.45 billion for 2000, 2.0 percent of Gross Domestic Product. As for the corporate giving, total corporate charitable contributions were estimated to have been $10.86 billion in 2000, an increase of 12.1 percent over 1999. In the history of charitable contributions in the United States of America, the role of business corporations were not so important in amount owing to the doctrine of ultra vires. In the case of A.P. Smith MFG. CO. v. Barlow et al., Supreme Court of New Jersey declared that business corporation's contribution for general maintenance of privately supported educational institution was not an ultra vires act, and that corporate power to make reasonable charitable contributions existed under modern conditions. This was a turning point in the history of corporate charitable contributions. The aim of this paper is to analyze the case and the influences in the history of corporate charitable contributions.

瀬戸内海国立公園には明治大正時代に築かれた近代の要塞が数ケ所に渡って残っている。紀淡海峡,芸予諸島,広島湾口,関門海峡,豊予海峡と国立公園の優れた風景地に,同じような構造をもつ堅牢な砲台跡や煉瓦造りの兵舎跡を見ることができる。要塞遺跡はそれ自体自然と一体となった明治の洋風建築として情趣あるものであるが,さらに一帯は,瀬戸内海の典型的な瀬戸景観などを眺める優れた展望地として,国立公園の重要な利用拠点になっている。瀬戸内海国立公園の近代要塞遺跡とはそもそも何かその概要を体系的に明らかにするとともに,この要塞跡地が瀬戸内海国立公園の利用拠点をいかに形成してきたかその経緯を明らかにするものである。

Folksonomyおけるタグは,コンテンツに関連したキーワードを入力するだけで良いという付与の容易さが利点ではあるが,どのコンテンツにどのタグが付与されているのかといった情報しか持たず,非構造的である.タグを構造的に扱うことでタグの有用性を向上させたいが,そのためには,タグが示す概念を知る必要がある.本論文では,タグが付与されているコンテンツの特徴から,タグの概念を抽出する手法を提案する.特に,「時間」「場所」を表すタグについて,そのタグと関連の強い「時間」「場所」の範囲を,Web上のコンテンツに付与されたタグとそのコンテンツに付与された時間・場所の情報から抽出する手法を示す.

As many members come from the wide areas in Aomori prefecture, the exercise is suspended unwillingly from the end of the college year to the early spring. By analyses on how the above exercise suspension influences on the body composition, physique and physical fitness of members of the female basketball club in our college, following results are obtained: 1) Weight is almost the same; 2) Although %FAT increases slightly, no significant difference is recognized; 3) FM increases slightly, but no significant difference is recognized; 4) LBM decreases for seven members among ten, and the obvious decrease of the average is recognized at 5% significant level; 5) The average of backstretch decreases slightly, but no significant difference is recognized; 6) V0_2max of all ten members decreases, and the obvious difference is recognized at 0.1% significant level; 7) Ability of all members decreases on how many meters they can run during twelve minutes, and the obvious difference is also recognized at 0.1% significant level; From the above results, followings are confirmed: Viewed from the body composition, nevertheless the rates of increase on %FAT and FM are less than male members, the above exercise suspension causes LBM to significantly decrease similarly to male members; Viewed from physical fitness, achievable distance with running in twelve minutes which is not measured for male members and VO_2max decrease significantly, and obvious influence on heart-lung capability is verified. Suspension causes endurance of physical fitness degradation, careful selection of training menu, therefore, must be considered as re-starting the exercise.

In order to lead student life, maintaining health, it is also an important element to carry, out proper weight observation by approaching from the physique-side. We collected fundamental date about the from analysis by BMI and the athletic ability and tried to make good use of them in the future. The unmbers of appearances of overweight on the basis of BMI were 39 boys out of 389 and 11 girls out of 123. Instruction and observation from a health side and a gymnastics side are required for the group of the overweight and a little overweight in the classification of corpulence degrees, which is a serious duty.

「情報」と「デザイン」を総合的に捉える新しい分野である「情報デザイン」が注目を集めている。本稿では,情報デザインの概要を捉えると共に,今まさに情報デザインが求められている分野について解説する。また,情報デザインの具体的な適用例として,Webサイトのデザイン/構築における「情報アーキテクチャ」,「Webサイトエンジニアリング」,「ユーザビリティ」といった実践手法と,情報デザインをWebデザインに展開する上で指針となる「Webデザインガイドライン」を紹介する。最後に,情報デザインに必要なスキルを考察するとともに,情報関係者の果たす新しい役割について論じる。
