近年,胎児心エコー検査の進歩と増加に伴い,本邦においても胎児期に多くの先天性心疾患が診断されるようになった.その一方で,出生直後に初めて診断される場合も依然,少なくない.今回,児の診断を受けた家族に対する「カウンセリング」について,それぞれの場合について説明する.1. 胎児診断の場合:家族の不安そして,診断が変わりうる不確定な要素にも注意が必要である.それらを理解したうえで行うカウンセリングの目的や実際,内容,家族支援について概説した.2. 出生直後の場合:胎児診断の場合と異なり,生後突然の診断かつ診断(児に心疾患があること)が確定している状況である.胎児診断と異なる部分について概説した.胎児期および出生後いずれの診断においても,小児循環器医は,心疾患の正確な診断ばかりでなく,家族に対して「カウンセリング」することも必要である.また,カウンセリングを自ら行い,チームを主導する立場にあるという自覚も重要である.

Non-family-type farm succession has been attracting attention in recent years as an effective way to compensate for the shortage of bearers for agriculture and to maintain local resources, such as farmland, by transferring the resourses to unrelated persons, even if there is no successor in the family. Non-family-type farm succession has two aspects-new entrants and management succession-and many problems remain to be solved in the implementation. This paper focuses on the case of Daichi Ltd, a subsidiary of JA in Tsubetsu, Hokkaido, in order to clarify the role of related organizations in facilitating non-family-type farm succession. It is clear that Daichi has contributed to the establishment of a support system for non-family type farm succession in the region and has become the core of the system, playing a role in building and maintaining trust between transferors and successors, and thereby addressing issues and contributing to the facilitation of management succession.

近年,監視カメラの普及が進み,幅広い分野における行動記録の活用が期待されている.その中でも行動履歴からの不審行動の検出は防犯やトラブル防止に重要である.しかし,監視者による検出は,その膨大な作業量はもちろん,経験に負う部分が大きいため,高精度な自動検出法への要請は大きい.自動不審行動検出の既存法は出現確率の低い行動を不審行動とみなすが,これでは実際は不審ではないが出現確率が低い行動が不審行動として誤検出され問題である.これを踏まえ,本研究は不審行動のデータ不要,リアルタイム検出可能,かつ既存法よりも高精度な自動不審行動検出の実現を目的とする.本研究は,多くの人がもつ「一般的な」意図に沿わない行動を不審行動とする.行動軌跡から報酬を推定可能な逆強化学習により人物動線データから導出される行動価値には,動線に潜在する意図が定量的に反映されるとして,導出された行動価値をもとに行動の不審さを評価する.擬似動線データにより実験した結果,既存法が誤評価する行動に対しても提案法は正確に評価可能であることを確認した.また,四つの指標により評価したところ,提案法は高い性能を示し有用なことを確認した.

本研究の目的は,情報化された仮想物体への直感的な双方向触覚インタラクションを実現する触覚提示手法の確立である.静電気力ディスプレイでは,触覚の知覚強度の評価実験を行うことで入力波形と知覚刺激との関連性や,オノマトペの関係を調査した.また,剪断力触覚ディスプレイでは,振動方向の独立制御により,再現性の高い触覚提示を実現した.また,空間中での熱放射による錯触覚提示システムとして,レーザ光源を用いたシステムなどを作成した.これにより多自由度かつ拘束なし,高速な応答性をもつ力覚ディスプレイのプロトタイプを完成させた.このように,多自由度双方向触覚提示手法の系統的な理論を構築した.

n‐3系脂肪酸は魚油, ボラージ油 (ルリジサ種子油) に豊富に含まれている脂肪酸で, n‐6系脂肪酸とともに必須脂肪酸である. このうちEPA, DHAには抗炎症作用や抗癌作用があることが多くの研究で明らかとなってきている. 作用機序に関してはいまだ十分に解明されていないが, 近年, n‐3系脂肪酸から細胞間生合成経路によって産生されるレゾルビンなどの代謝産物が同定され, 脂質メディエーターとして働き, 炎症の消退に関与していることがわかってきている. また, EPAの癌に対する作用については, 細胞レベルの実験では膵癌, 乳癌, 結腸癌, 肝細胞癌, 肺癌, 食道癌などにおいて種々の癌によって報告されている. EPAはNF‐κBの活性化を抑制し, 炎症性サイトカインの産生を制御することから, 癌制御目的や抗炎症目的にEPAを投与もしくはEPA含有する免疫栄養療法が注目され, 前向き試験が行われてきた. しかし, 現時点は臨床において炎症や癌の制御に対するはっきりとした有効性は認めていない.

The feminist campaign against pornography, the furor over racial epithets, and Iran's death threat against Salman Rushdie exemplify the passions aroused by hurtful speech. Such conflicts are increasingly pervasive and intractable. Sociological theories of symbolic politics illuminate such confrontations as struggles for respect among status categories defined by nationality, religion, race, gender, sexual orientation and physical difference. The two conventional responses to harmful speech-civil libertarianism and state regulation-both are fundamentally flawed. Only apologies exchanged within the communties that construct collective identities can readjust their social standing and thereby equalize cultural capital.

2004年9月14日(火),ソフトウェア科学会第21回大会の併設企画として,チュートリアル「P2Pコンピューティング―基盤技術と社会的側面―」が開催された.チュートリアル最後のパネルディスカッションでは,技術者として,今後P2Pソフトウェアを構築するにあたって,何を踏まえ,どのように取り組んだらよいのかを議論した.本稿ではその議論を報告する.

Recently, computers have been getting avalable for making patterns on women's wares. Generally speaking, it is quite difficult to measure lady's body, because it has more complicated surfaces than man's; such as which observed at shoulder part, breast part, waist part and so on than men's. This paper reports the construction of new measuring system; measuring human body without touching and destroying the object, analizing the data and making patterns on ladies' wares automatically with an image processing unit and a micro cmputer. Furthermore, SUPER ELLIPSE method is applied to get the data on human body's circumference length which has weight with making patterns where the error and accuracy are considered. Nontouch measuring is performed by the automatic measuring system consisted of two CCD cameras and image processing unit. Four pictures aretaken; they are upper front view, upper right side view, lower front view and lower right side view. All these pictures are proccessed by a personal computer connected with the system, calculating the necessary length automatically for making patterns. The error is to be within the allowance of JIS size table. SUPER ELLIPSE method is found to be useful for measuring ladies' body.
