政策事業の効果を機能主義的に検討する先行研究に対し,本稿では社会福祉政策を支配的な社会規範の「象徴」として捉える視点から,これまで就労支援の対象として考えられてこなかった高齢者の位置付けの変化に着目し,生活困窮者自立支援制度の導入と展開が象徴する労働と福祉に対する規範を浮かび上がらせることを目的とする。社会的なつながりを通じて自立への意欲を育成することを目指す生活困窮者支援は,「雇用を通じた福祉」と「家族を通じた福祉」が縮小した中,社会一般の新しい規範として,社会関係の中で主体性を身につけ,生涯を通じて職場や地域で活躍し続ける個人を支持していることを明らかにする。本稿では,社会福祉政策が表向きの目標を達成することを目指すだけでなく,その背後にある価値が社会を方向付けることを示し,現在の生活困窮者自立支援制度が反映する価値選択の帰結として二つの方向性を提示する。

In this paper, we aim to predict stock prices by analyzing text data in financial articles. TopicVec is a topic embedding model that represents latent topics in a word embedding space. Here, word embedding maps words into a low-dimensional continuous embedding space by exploiting the local word collocation patterns in a small context window. On the other hand, topic modeling maps documents onto a low-dimensional topic space. Using the topic embedding model, topics underlying each document can be mapped into the word embedding space by combining word embedding and topic modeling. The topic embedding model has not been used to address regression problem and also has not been used to predict stock prices by analyzing financial articles, to our knowledge. In this paper, by extending the topic embedding model to regression, we propose a topic embedding regression model called TopicVec-Reg to jointly model each document and a continuous label associated with the document. Our method takes financial articles as documents, each of which is associated with a stock price return as a continuous label, so that we can predict stock price returns for new unlabeled financial articles. We evaluate the effectiveness of TopicVec-Reg through experiments in the task of stock return prediction using news articles provided by Thomson Reuters and stock prices by the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The result of closed test shows that our method brought meaningful improvement on prediction performance.

症例は59歳と83歳の女性で,ともに寒天溶液(ゾル)を服用後に嘔気が出現し,当科を受診した.内視鏡検査にて胃内に表面平滑で,くすんだ淡緑色の巨大な異物を認め,寒天胃石と診断した.種々の鉗子による破砕や把持は困難であった.そこで,内視鏡先端に透明フードを装着し寒天胃石内に挿入,フード内に収納した後,吸引をかけながら抜去した.オーバーチューブを併用し,同様の操作を繰り返したところほぼ完全に摘出,除去しえた.

Unified English Test, a TOEFL-ITP testing for all the freshmen, has been administered on YNU campus with several major refinements since 2001, while the baton of its administration was completely handed over to English Education Section from the English education committee in 2004. A report on the administration of this annual project over the past seventeen years would make a good review to create an appropriate guideline for the future course of English Education of YNU. This report provides three parts in reviewing Unified English Test: 1) its introduction and the record of 16-year administration until the academic year of 2016, 2) statistical survey on the test results, and 3) analysis of learning conditions of returners (i.e. those students who failed in the previous years). All the three statements will show that Unified English Test constitutes the core significance of English Education of YNU. Chapter 1: This chapter reads a 16-year record of TOEFL test for all the freshmen by presenting why the test was started and how it has been conducted on campus. Finally, the last part shows the comparison of TOEFL-ITP scores from the academic year 2011 to 2016, and leads to the next chapter for more detailed statistical analysis. Chapter 2: The data presented in this chapter are based on the results of the tests taken by YNU freshmen from the academic year 2011 to 2016. The TOEFL average score is increasing almost every year and yet the results are not really satisfactory when viewed from the international level. Taking into consideration that in general the freshmen in each faculty have different views of learning English and their future use of English, we will never stop making better our English language program through which we can develop autonomous learning skills of intermediate-level YNU students. We hope that this vision will articulate ambitious goals for our YNU students. Chapter 3: From the survey of returner students, current e-learning course for returner students is cost-effective considering the limitation of human resource budget. It also provides more learning 42 opportunities for students due to the asynchronous nature of e-learning. However, the requirement of learner's autonomy, an essential feature of successful e-learners, remains a severe obstacle for them to complete the course.

本研究は相互転座保因者の遺伝カウンセリングに寄与する研究である。相互転座 保因者には次の世代に不均衡型転座という染色体異常の子が生まれてくる確率(リスク)がある。分離様式を予測するパキテン図と不均衡型転座が生まれてくるかまたは流産するかを判別するDanielの三角形を描くアプリケーションの開発とその運用である。これによって相互転座保因者の遺伝カウンセリングを担う臨床遺伝専門医、認定遺伝カウンセリングの労力の軽減に貢献する。

本稿の目的は17世紀中葉から18世紀前半にかけて展開されたスウェーデン漁業政策の一端を明らかにすることにある。とりわけ,同時期に発布された漁業法令や港湾法令の分析を通じて,水産業に対する奨励施策の問題やスウェーデン周辺海域での漁業行為をめぐる問題について上記の法令でどのように取り扱われていたのかを考察した。1658年のロスキレ条約以降に全国的な漁業法制の整備を進めていったスウェーデンは,水産業の発展を目的として漁業事業者・従事者に対して様々な優遇策を行っていった。一方,漁村における治安維持や水産加工品の品質管理に関する法規制の制度設計を行い,王国内における漁業行為の統御を本格的に進めていくこととなった。これらの施策は「スウェーデン人による漁業」の発展を目的とするものであり,18世紀中葉に発生した水産資源変動後の漁業政策にも大きな影響を与えることとなった。

タンパク質の細胞内局所での機能に注目が集まる中で,これらの解析にタンパク質を内包した刺激応答性ナノ粒子が用いられ始めている.タンパク質は,ナノ粒子に内包されることで細胞内に導入され,刺激応答を受けるまでナノ粒子内に安定に留まり,非侵襲な刺激を与えることで,細胞内で放出され機能する.そのため,刺激応答性ナノ粒子を用いることで,様々なタンパク質について細胞内で機能発現する時空間を正確に制御することができる.細胞内でタンパク質を放出する刺激として,標的部位の細胞内環境(低pH,還元状態)や光などの外部刺激が利用されている.本論文では,タンパク質内包ナノ粒子と,それを用いた細胞内タンパク質の機能解析に関しての最近の研究を紹介する.

Combined medium-high hydrostatic pressure (MHHP) and medium-high temperature (MHT) treatment is an effective process for liquid impregnation and food pasteurization. Although several fruit processing additives are known to inhibit polyphenol oxidase (PPO), the effect of additives on PPO activity after MHHP+MHT treatment has not been studied. This study describes the effect of citric acid and calcium chloride on PPO activity after MHHP+MHT treatment. The lyophilized powder of Fuji apples was subjected to MHHP+MHT treatment in a solution containing sucrose, citric acid, and calcium chloride, and residual PPO activity was measured. Combined citric acid and calcium chloride additive use reduced PPO activity more effectively than their individual use. Using this additive combination to decrease PPO residual activity in conjunction with MHHP+MHT proved to decrease apple compote browning homogeneously, which we believe will prove a useful method in preservation processes.

1名の自閉症生徒に、電車とバスを利用した移動スキルを形成した。まず、環境調査と両親および本人へのインフォームド・コンセントを行った。事前テストに続いて、現実場面において即時プロンプト条件と、遅延プロンプト条件による指導を行った。それによってほとんどの行動連鎖は獲得されたが、現実場面での指導において習得が困難であったバスへの接近と乗車行動については、パソコンを用いたシミュレーション指導を行った。その結果、現実場面において移動スキルの行動連鎖を形成することができた。一方、地域の人々と生徒とのかかわりについて継続的に観察を行った。その結果、生徒に対する地域の人々の反応の出現に、特徴的な傾向があることが示された。それらの結果について、指導方法については代表例教授法の観点から、地域の人々との相互作用については、強化随伴性の観点から考察した。

Osteocytes, dendritic resident cells in bone, transduce signals of mechanical loading that results in anabolic responses of bone. In our previous report with primary osteocytes derived from newborn rat calvaria, we showed that cAMP levels were elevated 15min after the initiation of streching, and that the protein levels of both IGF-I and osteocalcin were elevated 36h later. Here we report that stretching induces the expression of an immediate early gene, cfos, at 15min and of osteocalcin in several hours in these cells. Furthermore, the blockers of stretch activated channels and epithelial-like sodium channels, in combination, abolish the effects of stretching; elevated expression of osteocalcin and calcium influx into the stretched cells. Independent experiment with a blocker of L type channels also inhibited the osteocalcin expression caused by stretching. Therefore, it is conceivable that the calcium influxes, both primary and secondary, are the essential responses of stretched osteocytes that result in the anabolic reaction of bone.

歩行運動などのリズミック運動時に運動リズムと心拍リズム間の位相シンクロが発生し,この現象が運動筋への血流確保と関連していることが示唆されている。本研究ではトレッドミル歩行運動時に呼吸と運動リズムの随意的な同期により,心拍リズムと運動リズム間の位相シンクロを自発的に誘発させ,酸素摂取量や換気効率,筋組織酸素動態等から身体システムにおけるシンクロ現象の生理的意義を検討した。

これまで温泉治療が様々な疾患に療養効果があることは示されてきたが,一般的にどのような疾病に予防効果があるのかは示されていない.また,温泉入浴の禁忌症は示されているものの,某かの疾病の発症を促進する可能性についても知られていない.このような状況を踏まえて,筆者らは,平成24年度から3カ年間,65歳以上の高齢別府市民2万人を対象に,温泉の利用歴と各種疾患の既往歴に関するアンケート調査を実施し,その解析結果を先頃論文報告した.結果は,性別によって分かれており,温泉入浴が,男性においては,心血管疾患の予防に寄与し,女性では,高血圧に予防的に働くが,膠原病などの発症には促進的に働く可能性などが示唆された.このように,温泉は必ずしもすべての疾患の予防に働くわけではなく,一部促進する場合もあり得ることが伺えた.この疫学調査から伺える予防的効果には,温泉の効能としては期待されてこなかったものやこれまで示されてきた効能に反するものが含まれている.本編では,様々な疾患に対する温泉の予防効果と治療効果のずれという観点から,アンケートによる疫学調査をレビューする形で紹介したい.
