This article examines how to use three Haikus in "Gokumon-tou(Gokumon Island)", one of Yokomizo Seishi's mystery novels. In this mystery, a detective, Kindaichi Kosuke finds the truth of the serial murders. In those cases, each of the victims are compared to Haiku. For example, Yukie, she is the middle of three sisters, is compared to Basho's Haiku "Muzan yana Kabuto no Shita no Kirigirisu (How pitiful! Under a soldier's empty helmet, a cricket sings)". Specifically, Yukie is compared to an old cricket related to white color because Basho's cricket is compared to an old soldier. Then, a big temple bell is compared to a soldier's helmet. What is this criminal doing? The criminal rediscovers the beauty of Haiku. In other words, the criminal plays with Mitate. As I have explained, Mitate is a kind of comparison, and in this paper I solve three mysteries with Kindaichi, and clarify the motive for crime. As a whole, this thesis offers a close reading "Gokumon-tou" focusing on three Haikus and the role of characters. In addition, I show the position of "Gokomon-tou" in the Japanese mystery or Japanese modern literature containing Haiku. "Gokomon-tou" is groundbreaking in these special tricks using Haiku. After this novel we find a lot of mystery writers using Haiku. Especially, Matsumoto Seicho utilize Haiku as a trick or the key to solving the mystery. Seicho knows the characteristics of modern Haiku in comparison with Seishi. He use the characteristics, namely Shasei(sketching)theory, going to famous sightseeing spots, literary coterie magazines, Haiku gathering and so on, in his novels. Then, Yokomitsu Riichi who is a contemporary of Seishi connects Basho's Haiku and Japanese fate. In contract, Seishi's Basho is released from the oppression. Seishi makes free use of Basho's Haiku, and accordingly "Gokumon-tou" becomes a watershed of Basho's Haiku for use in novels.

マダラヤンマはため池を主な生息場所とするヤンマ科のトンボであり、長野県上田市において天然記念物に指定されている。本種は、環境省ならびに長野県において準絶滅危惧種に指定されており、個体数の減少が危惧されている。本種の保全策を検討するために、上田市塩田平において本種の生息とため池および周辺の環境要因との関係性を調べた。その結果、マダラヤンマが生息するため池は生息が確認されなかったため池よりも池畔において抽水植物群落が存在する比率(池畔抽水植物率)が高かった。また、一般化線形モデルの解析結果から、本種の在 /不在に対して池畔抽水植物率に加え、ため池周辺の森林面積ならびにリンゴ果樹園面積が有意な正の効果を持つことが明らかとなった。これらの結果は、抽水植物を産卵基質として利用するという本種の繁殖生態と矛盾しないと思われた。また森林面積が関係していた理由は、本種が成熟のために一時的に森林に移動するためであると思われた。また、ため池に隣接する果樹園でのルートセンサスにおいて本種の生息が確認されたことから、果樹園は森林の代替地として利用されるのかもしれない。今回の調査結果から、マダラヤンマの保全を検討する上で、ため池内だけでなく周辺の環境要素にも配慮することが重要であると共に、本来の生息環境の保全や復元が困難な場合、農業生産という経済的な利益を伴った代替可能と思われる環境を創出することでも、一定の保全効果が得られる可能性があると考えられた。

The purpose of this study was to examine the reciprocal causal relationships between beliefs about learning and learning strategies, which, although suggested by previous research, have been lacking sufficient empirical evidence. Undergraduates (N=105) completed self-reported questionnaires to indicate beliefs about learning including strategy orientation, and learning strategy use consisted of meta-cognitive strategy, deep-processing strategy, and autonomous help-seeking. Cross-lagged structural equation analyses revealed cross-lagged effects between strategy orientation and learning strategies. Results suggest that beliefs about learning and learning strategy use have reciprocal causal relationships.

二輪車の定常円旋回特性を詳細に検討したところ、これまでの理論的な表現では定性的な特性は表現できるものの、定量的な特性を表現することが難しいことを示した。この表現にはタイヤのオーバターニングモーメントおよびキャンバトルクの考慮が重要である事を示し、今後の運動力学検討時にこれらの考慮が重要であることを示した。さらに操舵系コンプライアンスの等価的影響を検証した。

Udon (Japanese noodle) is one of the traditional foods in our country.The quality of the cooked noodle depends mainly on physical properties expressed koshi (hardness and springiness), articulation and smoothness.Therefore, the physical properties of Udons prepared under the various cooking conditions were determined by the breaking test, creep measurement and stress relaxation measurement using a rheometer and a handmade equipment. As a result of also doing the sensory evaluation, cooked Udon that was organoleptically judged to be the most delicious was soft one with a high breaking strength. By a scanning electron microscope, the gelatinization of starch near the surface of cooked Udon and the porous sponge-like structure were observed, whereas core part of the starch retained their original granular form with an adequate swelling. The cooked Udon surface seemed to form the network structure with the corrugation. This structure may be involved in the smoothness of the cooked Udon.

The predictability of the Heavy Rain Event in July 2018 is examined by forecast experiments with an operational global atmospheric forecast model. Experiments from different initial times show that the overall rainfall distribution at the peak on 6 July can be predicted from 12 UTC, June 30, and later. In the successful forecasts, the track error of Typhoon Prapiroon against the best track is small. In the experiments with longer lead times, by contrast, the Baiu frontal zone has a northwared bias with less precipitation, and Prapiroon hardly develop and migrates westward. Poor track forecasts seem to be related to the limited vertical development of the vortex. Near surface equivalent potential tempeature and Q-vector analysis show that Prapiroon act to intensify the Baiu frontal zone. In conclusion, the correct track forecast is essential for Baiu frontogenesis and the formation of heavy precipitation in western Japan.

本研究では, 高齢者の横断歩道外での歩行事故が多発している実態を踏まえ, 横断歩道外での高齢者の横断行動の調査・分析を行った. 調査は, ビデオによる横断行動の撮影および横断者に対するインタビュー調査である.分析の結果, 高齢者の横断所要時間は非高齢者よりも有意に長いにもかかわらず, 横断利用ラグには違いは見られず, 高齢者は相対的に危険な横断を行う傾向があること, 自分の行った横断に関して危険でないと認識する人が逆に危険な横断を行っている傾向が見られた.よって, 高齢者は, 歩行速度を含めた自分の身体能力, 自分が行っている横断について, 客観的に適切に自覚してもらう必要があると考えられる.

Organizational development (OD) recently has focused on the invention of methods based on practical perspectives rather than academic ones. This movement has resulted in increased "development of OD." While this attention is mostly positive, it has led to a loss of clear identity for OD. Thus we call this phenomenon gritting refined gold. We argue the identity of OD by considering developmental practices, both empirically and theoretically. This study shows that OD has been consistent in its principle of development and has hold its traditional logic which had humanistic values at the center of interventions.
