難治性の神経障害性疼痛の症状の一つである冷感アロディニアに対する新たな鎮痛薬として、TRPM8受容体をターゲットにした薬物開発に貢献するため、神経障害性疼痛に対する鎮痛薬として使用されているデュロキセチンを含むいくつかの抗うつ薬のTRPM8受容体に対する影響を電気生理学的に解析した。抗うつ薬は濃度依存性にTRPM8受容体機能を可逆阻害的に抑制し、これらの抑制効果はPKCを介さないものであった。また、TRPA1に対するガバペンチンの影響解析も行い、一部PLCを介してガバペンチンがTRPA1機能を増強させることを発見した。これらの結果はTRPM8受容体機能抑制機序を解明する鍵になると考えられる。

Plasmodium of true slime mold, Physarum polycephalum, is an amoeba-like unicellular organism. It crawls in environment with oscillating the cell thickness. The oscillating parts of the plasmodium are connected through tube structures where the protoplasm (intracellular substance) streams. Thus the plasmodium can be modeled as a network consisting of oscillating nodes (or vertices) and links (or edges). In this paper, the network geometries in various environments were analyzed with considering the relation with the spatio-temporal oscillating pattern in the each network. We show the geometry of the networks depends on environmental condition:It forms lattice networks in pleasant environment, tree-graph networks in unpleasant environment, and intermixture of them in neutral environment. The relation between the morphology and the biological function of the plasmodia is discussed in the context of spatio-temporal structure.

Electrolytic copper contains, on average, 10 ppm silver as impurity, which leads to a loss of silver as a cashcow product for copper smelters.Most of silver included in blister copper anodes passes into anode slime when electrolyzed, keeping the elemental state. However, once a part of elemental silver dissolves from the anode or from anode slime for some reason, then silver can co-deposit with electrolytic copper cathode, since silver is nobler than copper. In the present work, the dissolution behavior of silver from anode slime was examined by using granular silver as a model of the slime.We have shown that the silver dissolution is caused by dissolved oxygen in the electrolyte, and that thiourea and/or chloride ions as usual additives play a role to suppress the silver dissolution approximately to two thirds.Moreover, it was found that the dissolution of silver was suppressed to less than 1ppm by galvanic contacting of the granular silver with less noble metals (Pb or Cu) immersed in the same electrolyte. This indicates that the use of Pb or Cu lining at the bottom of electrolytic cells can suppress silver dissolution from the anode slime settled to the bottom, reducing the silver loss to electrolytic copper.

和文タイプライタの発展過程,現状,将来の問題点を解説した総合展望。まず和文タイプの機能および機構とその具備すべき要件を解説し,ついでその発展過程を大正4年の1号機から現在まで概観する。和文タイプと使用者とのインタフェイスの面を特に取りあげ,文字数,文字盤,活字,文字配列が各メーカ・各機種により多種多様であることを示し,その標準化の困難さを指摘する。最後に和文タイプが清書・植字機械に止まっている現状から,情報システムの入力機械として脱皮すべきことを強調する。

ドライバの肉体疲労を軽減して快適な運転を創出したい。スポーツ分野の肉体疲労軽減で使用されている温冷交代浴と同様に、シートから温冷風を交互に吹き出す方法を提案した。連続90分の運転(n=7)で提案手法を使用した場合、疲労感の主観評価は低下、皮膚血流は増加、筋硬度は低下し、疲労軽減の効果が示された。

The acceleration phenomenon of infant word acquisition can not be explained by simple neural learning mechanism of brain. To explain it, we have to assume some prior knowledge or structure in brain that is specific for language. However, the assumption is not plausible from evolutional view. It is natural to assume that the mechanism also exist in animal brain and is used for different purpose originally, and it is re-used for language in evolutional process. To examine possibility of the idea, we apply memory model PATON for the simulation of infant primary word acquisition process, and propose a model of its acceleration process. From the result, we discuss on how language is specific for human by examining the back grounding brain mechanism that enable the rapid word acquisition.

「にわ」と州浜台は、共に海の景色を精巧に再現していることを検証し、平安時代に発達した庭園文化の影響の大きさを州浜史の変遷から紐解いていく。州浜台は後世、嶋形(しまがた)、島台、蓬莱の島台などと名称変化することから、古来「島」と呼ばれていた庭園と密接な関係が見通される。さらに、当時の造物文化と造園文化は蓬莱山によって通底しており、両者の造形の類似性が露になっている。

In vitro での Treponema pallidum (以下T,P,)Reiter 株に対する各種抗生物質の影響を,走査型並びに透過型電子顕微鏡を用いて比較検討した.薬剤未添加群の走査型電子顕微鏡による T・P. Reiter 株は,長さ 10μ,幅 0.2μ 内外の表面平滑な梶棒状を示した. 20mμから30mμ の Axial filament と思われる細い線維は, T.P・Reiter 株本体にからみつくように多数みられた.同じ条件下の透過型電子顕微鏡に.よるT.P. Reiter株は,縦断面の電子密度が大であり内部に Axial filament, Deepfilament がみられた.横断面において Protoplasmic cellmembrane がみられたが, Cell envelope は明瞭に観察されなかった. Benzylpenicillin,Cephalexiii ; Amoxicillin 添加後走査型電子顕微鏡にて観察された Spheroplast 様構造物は,透過型電子顕微鏡で菌体の一部から約1μ×1.4μの楕円形を示し,内容物は電子密度中等度の微細穎粒と糸状の Nuclear fibril より成っていた.しかし,Doxycycline, Erythromycin 処理後にはこのような変化を認めなかった.各種抗生物質のなかでは Benzylpeni cillin が最も短時間しかも低濃度で変化を生ぜしめた,

難治性アトピー性皮膚炎に対して東洋医学的治療を行った。症例は20例で鍼灸湯液併用治療及び湯液治療の二つに分けてその有効率を比較した。鍼灸湯液併用治療は8例中7例有効であり有効率88%, 湯液治療は12例中8例有効であり67%であった。鍼灸湯液併用治療と湯液治療が共に有効であったが鍼灸湯液治療がより有効であると考えられる。
