平成30年度も前年度と同じく、江戸時代後期の将軍側近と幕府官僚の分析のため、史料調査を行った。具体的には、大和郡山市教育委員会(奈良県)で、将軍側近柳沢家関係史料を、首都大学東京図書情報センター(東京都)で、当該期の「老中借写日記」を、茨城県立歴史館で、一橋家関係史料、前橋市立図書館(群馬県)で、酒井雅楽頭家関係史料、豊橋市美術博物館(愛知県)で、「吉田藩日記」、天理大学附属天理図書館(奈良県)で、松平定信の家老服部半蔵の日記「世々之姿」の調査を実施した。加えて、研究成果を自治体の企画で紹介する機会にも恵まれた。9月24日には、群馬県前橋市の主催した、第6回前橋四公教養講座(場所:酒井雅楽頭家菩提寺・龍海院本堂)で「前橋藩主 酒井忠挙 ―御曹司の挫折とプライド」という演題で講演した。また、山梨県甲府市のこうふ開府500年記念事業実行委員会主催の「こうふ開府500年記念事業リレーフォーラム2018 近世」において、基調講演「柳沢吉保とその時代」を行い、柳沢家にゆかりのある自治体の首長(山梨県北杜市・甲府市、埼玉県川越市、東京都文京区、奈良県大和郡山市)とともにパネルディスカッション「柳沢氏が築いた歴史と文化 ~各地に残る足跡~」のパネリストを務めた。ほかに、論考「名門・酒井雅楽頭を再興した凄腕家老」が、文芸春秋編『日本史の新常識』(文藝春秋、2018年11月20日)に掲載された。

各務原大橋は,一級河川木曽川を渡る橋長594mのPC10径間連続フィンバック橋であり,移動架設桁を用いた張出し架設工法により橋梁上部工の施工が行われた。本工事においては,高粘性のコンクリート(設計基準強度50N/mm²早強ポルトランドセメントを使用)を長距離圧送する必要があり,圧送時に流動性の低下が生じた場合,充填性に大きな影響を与えることが懸念された。また,単位セメント量が多くなるため,温度応力による有害なひび割れの発生が懸念された。本稿では,これらの課題に対する検討と対策およびコンクリートの施工状況について報告する。

In Plato's <i>Gorgias</i> 474c4-475e6, the issue of whether it is worse to do injustice or suffer it is considered. Socrates and Polus discuss this issue, regarding it as a problem in relation to their own choice of action and way of life. Polus thinks that suffering injustice is worse than doing it. He also thinks, on the other hand, that doing injustice is more shameful than suffering it. Socrates shows him that it is by exceeding in evil that doing injustice is more shameful than suffering it. As a result, Polus concedes that doing injustice is worse than suffering it.<br>Here, we can find a surface and a deeper significance in the judgment that doing injustice is more shameful than suffering it. At the surface level, (1) a &lsquo;fine or shameful&rsquo; judgment has no effect on a judgment of good or bad, and (2) a &lsquo;fine or shameful&lsquo; judgment is not linked to one's choices of action and way of life. However, the judgment that doing injustice is more shameful indicates, deep down, a truer sense of good and bad which are not equated with pleasure and pain, i. e., the judgment reveals what is good and bad for the soul. In this discussion, Polus is, at first, only aware of the surface meaning of his own judgment that doing injustice is more shameful. Socrates shows him the deeper meaning.<br>We can find, here, a fundamental problem with rhetoric: rhetoric concerns persuasion about what is just and unjust, and, faced with public opinion, orators cannot deny that what is just is fine and what is unjust is shameful; but rhetoric cannot make clear the true meaning of the fineness of justice and the shamefulness of injustice, because it aims at pleasure without regard for the good for the soul. Rather, the fineness of justice and the shamefulness of injustice are based on taking care of the soul by political <i>techne</i>.

The cake cutting problem is concerned with the fair allocation of a divisible good among agents whose preferences vary over it. Recently, designing strategy-proof (SP) cake cutting mechanisms has caught considerable attention from AI and MAS researchers. Previous works assumed that an agent’s utility function is additive so that theoretical analysis becomes tractable. However, in practice, agents have non-additive utility over a resource. In this paper, we consider the all-or-nothing utility function as a representative example of non-additive utility because it can widely cover agents’ preferences for such real-world resources as the usage of meeting rooms, time slots for computational resources, bandwidth usage, and so on. We first show the incompatibility between envy-freeness (EF) and Pareto efficiency (PE) when each agent has all-or-nothing utility. We next propose a SP mechanism that satisfy PE, which is based on the serial dictatorship mechanism, at the sacrifice of EF. To address computational feasibility, we propose a heuristic-based allocation algorithm to find a near-optimal allocation in time polynomial in the number of agents, since the problem of finding a PE allocation is NP-hard. As another approach that abandons PE, we develop an EF and SP mechanism. Furthermore, we argue about false-name-proofness (FNP), which is the expansion of SP, and propose FNP and EF cake cutting mechanism. Finally, we evaluate our proposed mechanisms by computational experiments.

心の理論による他者の心的状態を理解する過程には,心についての一般的な知識に基づくとする立場の理論説と自己の心的状態を他者に投影して他者理解を行うとする立場のシミュレーション説が提唱されている.先行研究では,他者の心的状態のうち誤信念を推測する理論説に基づくモデルが提案されているが,誤信念理解の発達過程や誤信念以外の心的状態の理解との関連やシミュレーション説が考慮されていない.そこで,本研究ではシミュレーション説に基づいた心の理論のベイジアンネットワークモデルを提案し,様々な心的状態の理解の発達過程と相互関連を検討した.その結果,他者の信念や知識を理解する心的機能の同時発達が誤信念という高次の心的機能の獲得に必要であることが示唆された.

This study attempted to illuminate the relationship to levels of self-esteem and parenting attitudes in mothers with infants. Mothers (N=81) completed the self-esteem scale (10 items) and the parenting attitudes scale (30 items). As a part of the results, the higher group of self-esteem indicated the higher level of parenting attitudes. Other results were that homemaker mothers tended toward lower degree of self-esteem and also indicated lower level of parenting attitudes in comparison with mothers working full-time. Single mothers have lower degree of self-esteem than married mothers with a significant difference. It is well known that children's self-esteem is influenced by mothers' self-esteem. For the purpose of improving mothers' self-esteem and children's self-esteem as well, it is necessary for mothers (especially for homemaker mothers and single mothers) that the burden of childcare is lightened.

早稲田大学演劇博物館・法政大学能楽研究所・盛岡中央公民館・東京藝術大学附属図書館・土佐山内家宝物資料館・金沢市立玉川図書館等に所蔵される大鼓葛野流・小鼓幸流に関する資料を網羅的に収集し、近世から近代にかけての能楽囃子の一端を明らかにした。またその過程で、大鼓役者川崎九淵の旧蔵資料のうち従来未公開の資料を発掘することができた。これは近代における能楽囃子の様相を知る上で第一級の資料である。
