Nedyopus venustus sp. nov. Body Iength about 18mm, width about 1.3mm in the male. General colour is brown with a wide light longitudinal stripe extending on the middorsal surface the collum to the tail excluding the head. The keels, sternites and legs are yellow but tibia and tarsus of legs have a brown tinge. The dorsal surface is glabrous, and many conspicuous furrows are present on lateral and upper surfaces of the keel. The lateral carinae extend from the first to the sixth dorsal segment, the seventh and posterior segments having none. The fifth sternite of the male possesses a hairly flat lamina, the anterior margin of which curved in slightly. Gonopod of male : Hairly prefemur has a small process on the inner surface of its distal end. the base of femur is not retrograde as is that of N. tambanus, but expands markedly in a proximal direction as shown in the figure. The seminal groove branch runs forward or downward. Ratio of length to width of the male gonopod excluding the prefemur is about 2 : 1. Holotype : One male, Mt. Kirishima of Pref. Kagoshima, April 22, 1956 collected by Mr. S. Koshiyama, and preserved in the auther's collection. Kopidoiulus longus sp. nov. Body length is about 38mm in the male. The general colour is darkish brown, but metazonite possessas brown spots, and the dorsum seems to have many lateral stripes on account of the light stripes on the posterior of each segment. The sternites and the legs are yellow. The anal segment is deep brown. The number of segments is 49. The crypeus is hairly, but setigerous foveolae possess 2 + 2. Ocelli number about thirty. Few transverse furrows are present on the prezonites, and the striate portions of metazonites exist below the level of the repugnatorial pores, the dorsal surface being smooth. The first legs are transformed into long, stiff and stick-like five articles curved deeply as a whole. At the distal end of the fifth article is situated a very small process which is probably a degenerate claw. Gonopod : The anterior gonopod consists of a telopodite and a coxal process. Telopodite is spindle shaped having a seta on the inner surface of the distal end. The coxal process is long, with a small blade situated on one side of the distal half, and a few short seta-like processes on the basal half. Posterior gonopod is a long, slightly bent slender blade, with a ciliated end. The gonopods of the male are represented in the figure. Holotype : One male, Mt. Daisetsu, Hokkaido, July 24, 1957, collected by Dr. H. Kobayashi, and preserved in the auther's collection.

今日の日本で,デザインということばは日常語として用いられている。西洋概念の受容以前に,「たくむ」「たくみ」は,デザイン行為の概念と重なる意味を含んだ日本語として存在した。本文では,その語義の形成と変遷について検討を行った。「たくむ」「たくみ」はヤマトコトバであり,もとは手わざを意味するものではなく,「考え出す」「工夫する」「計画する」という思考を意味する概念を有していた。語源は確定されないが,「手組」として理解されていたことがわかった。「たくみ」は,漢字の移入によって,「匠」「工」「巧」などの単字,「工匠」「工人」「匠者」などの熟字と対応関係を築いた。また,律令制度のなかで官職や雇役民の名称となり,職能や人の身分を示すことばとして定着した。近代以後,「たくむ」「たくみ」とも仕様される度合が減じた。日常的な話ことばにおいても,意味を代替する漢語(および漢語サ変動詞)が用いられることが顕著になったことによる。これらのことばが元来有する語義を,あらためて認識することの重要性が示唆された。

本論文では,面的に測距を行うレーザスキャナを用いた群集の追跡手法,及び駅での検証実験により求められた群衆流動の可視化の方法について述べる.提案手法は,複数のレーザスキャナを時間的・空間的に同期させ,計測された歩行者の足断面のレンジデータから複数の歩行者を追跡する.追跡アルゴリズムは,レーザポイントに対して単純な時空間的クラスタリングを行うことで,実時間の処理を可能にしている.さらに得られた多数の軌跡データに対して位置と方向を考慮した三次元的なカーネル密度推定を行うことで,群衆流動の方向や通行密度,サイズといった情報の可視化を行う.また,得られた軌跡に対してOD別通行量の精度を評価した.

In the beginning of the nineteenth century, Robert Owen marked an outstanding success as a cotton spinner while at the same time he gained fame as a humane factory reformer and a pioneer of educator. With the termination of the Napoleonic War in 1815, enormous industrial productivity that was achieved by the British Industrial Revolution immediately created over-production and excessive, unemployment. The working class was, thus, reduced to poverty and the relief of the manufacturing poor surfaced as a critical social problem. It was at this juncture that Owen arrived at the socialistic ideology of the "village of co-operation". Owen considered that the flooding unemployment due to over-production and the poverty of the working class were produced by the enormous industrial productivity which was left to work under the principle of gain that is inherent in capitalism per se. This thinking leads him to consider the total abolishment of capitalism by the establishment of and the gradual development of the so-called "village of co-operation", which has controlled production and expenditure, in order to harness the enormous industrial productivity to meet social demand. The "village of co-operation" is a self-sufficient community based on agriculture and supported by manufacture where members work together and share the expenditure. According to his plan the community is formed of a unit of 1,200 persons. At the centre of the lot there are public buildings which are divided into parallelograms, facilities and gardens that are necessary for enjoying pleasant community life. Beyond these there are mechanical factories and corn-mills and around these there are 1,200 acres of arable land. Men would cultivate land and between farming activities they would engage in manufacturing and other required tasks. Here, the cultivated land is mainly used for production of staple crops, but spade cultivation instead of cultivation by the plough is advocated. In Europe, spade had been used as a tool for cultivating hoed-crops such as garden vegetables, vis-a-vis plough for cultivating corn on arable land. The secret of Owen's "village of co-operation" may be found in the use of this tool to raise corn on arable land so to absorb maximum labour on the existing arable land and consequently look for a harmonious balance in population, food and employment.

筆者等は「北上平野にとって、南部北上山地西縁は東方の異界との境界として生き続けてきたという時空間認識」を賢治が持っていた、という仮説を立て検証を行なった。賢治が北上平野に対する南部北上山地を、中国の平野に対するチベット高原(賢治のトランスヒマラヤ高原)に見立てたその背景には、この地域がかつて大和朝廷勢力軍事首長下の西の平野、奥六郡に、東のエミシの地、閉伊が対峙した時代があり、アテルイや安倍貞任などの伝説や、様々な郷土芸能、祭礼などにその歴史が変容し伝承されてきたことがある。たとえば、南部北上山地西縁部に位置する兜跋毘沙門天像を祀る寺社の配列は東方に対する結界であり、その西方は谷権現(丹内社)信仰などを持つ異界となる。しかし西側が設けたこの結界はむしろ、後々東側の西に対する結界となった。賢治もその結界は中立的な境界線というより、むしろ異界の始まりであると感じていた。

ステンレス鋼SUS304のラッピングと電解研磨を行い、研磨廃液の組成分析を行った。ラッピングではアルミナ砥粒と純水またはオレイン酸ナトリウム水溶液からなるスラリー、電解研磨ではエチレングリコール-塩化ナトリウム溶液、リン酸-硫酸溶液を用いた。その結果、ラッピングの廃液にはステンレス鋼組成の溶解は検出されなかったが、電解研磨では全てが溶解していた。特にリン酸-硫酸溶液の場合に多くの六価クロムが検出された。

Six new sesquiterpenes, tsukiyols A–C, neoilludin C, and 4-O-methylneoilludins A and B, were isolated from the fruiting body of Omphalotus japonicus (Kawam.) Kirchm. & O. K. Mill. Additionally, six known compounds, illudin S, neoilludins A–B, 5-hydroxydichomitol, ergosterolperoxide, and 3β,5α,9α-trihydroxyergosta-7,22-diene-6-one, were also obtained. Their chemical structures were determined with MS, IR, and NMR spectra and the absolute configurations of neoilludins A–C, 4-O-methylneoilludins A, and B were determined with electronic circular dichroism (ECD). Illudin S and 3β,5α,9α-trihydroxyergosta-7,22-diene-6-one showed cytotoxicity against human acute promyelocytic leukemia HL60 cells. Illudin S, 4-O-methylneoilludin A, B, and tsukiyol C showed growth-restoring activity against mutant yeast via Ca2+-signal transduction.

【目的】大腿軟部腫瘍患者の腫瘍摘出術後の歩行能力は、前面であれば大腿四頭筋の有無、後面であれば坐骨神経の温存状態により大きく左右される。歩容では四頭筋部分切除患者は立脚期に困難を示し一見し異常に気づくがハムストリングスのみ切除した患者の場合正常歩行と見分けがつかない。しかし、「歩けるが走れない」と言った訴えを聞く。<BR>そこで、われわれは「走れない」ことに着目し、ハムストリングスを切除した患者の自由歩行,早歩き,ジョグにおいてハムストリングス切除が下肢に与える影響について検討した。<BR>【対象】対象は左半腱様筋,半膜様筋,大腿二頭筋を切除した左大腿部軟部腫瘍の男性1名(51歳、身長168cm、体重61kg)。坐骨神経は温存。術後左膝関節の可動域に制限はなく、ハムストリングスの筋力はMMT4レベルであった。術後1.5ヶ月時の化学療法施行中に測定した。<BR>【方法】両肩峰,大転子,膝関節裂隙,足関節外果,第5中足骨頭に赤外線反射マーカーを貼った被験者に床反力計(kistler社:9281B1)を2枚設置した7mの歩行路を自由歩行、早歩き、ジョグを行わせ、三次元動作解析装置(BTS社:ELITE Plus)にて撮影し、十分な練習後、測定した。<BR>この時の床反力データおよび空間座標データを生体力学常数とともに臨床歩行分析研究会の提唱する数学モデル,力学モデルに代入し下肢関節角度,関節モーメント、関節パワーを計算し床反力データと供に比較検討した。<BR>【結果】健側と患側を比較すると、床反力垂直成分に明らかな差異を認めなかった。関節角度変化は若干の変動を認めるが、肉眼では跛行を感じなかった。遊脚後期の膝関節屈曲モーメント極値(Nm)は歩行-早歩き-ジョグと速度が速まるにつれ,患側:3.7,5.3,9.1、健側:11.5,20.7,27.8と各々増加するが患側のジョグ時は健側自由歩行時よりも少なかった。また、遊脚後期の膝関節パワー極値(Watt)では、患側:-17.2,-24.5,-41.8、健側:-56.2,-115.4,-137.4と関節モーメントと同様に患側のジョグ時は健側の歩行時よりも少ない結果となった。<BR>【考察】患側健側ともに通常歩行よりも早歩き、ジョグへと歩行速度の増加に伴いハムストリングスの活動も大きくなった。また、その歩容は見かけではどちらが患側か判別できない状態であったが、患側ではモーメント、パワーともに著明に少なくハムストリングス切除の影響の反映と考えた。歩行中のハムストリングスの活動は関節モーメントから大よその見当がつくが関節パワーを求めた事により、膝関節屈筋として遠心性収縮による仕事が明確になった。ハムストリングス切除の影響は遊脚後期の下腿の制動すなわちターミナルインパクトの回避が最も困難であり、走行出来ない理由であると考えた。
