巨大都市江戸において、諸国から定期的に移動してくる各藩の勤番武士は重要な存在である。従来の研究では、勤番武士の行動は、外出、とくに遠出のみが注目され、「江戸ッ子」が創り出した田舎者イメージ「浅黄裏」、および江戸各所の名所をめぐる行動文化の担い手としての自由なイメージで語られてきた。こうした従来の検討に対して、筆者は勤番武士の日記や生活マニュアルについて、①江戸定住者によって作り出された田舎者のイメージから離れる、②勤務日・非外出日も含めた全行動を検討する、③外出については近距離の行動も視野に入れる、という視点から分析をすすめ、他者から見た江戸像や、江戸の体験(他文化)を経た自文化の発見、また彼らの消費行動に支えられた江戸の商人や地域を論じてきた。本稿では、臼杵藩の中級藩士国枝外右馬が初めての江戸勤番中に執筆した「国枝外右馬江戸日記」から行動を検討し、以下の点を明らかにした。第一に、本日記は手紙のように国元に頻繁に送られており、国元への報告という性格を明確に持っていることが特徴である。勤番武士の日記の検討にあたっては、こうした視点が今後不可欠であろう。第二に、行動についての概要を検討し、既に検討を加えた八戸藩・庄内藩の事例と比較した。その結果、他藩士と同様に、基本的には勤務と外出制限によって、居住地から二キロメートル以上離れた場所に出る日は少なく、とくに藩邸から離れた本所・深川などへはあまり訪れていないこと、ただし本事例では外出日が若干多く、また行動範囲もやや広い傾向がある点を明らかにした。第三に、勤務の内容から、外右馬の経験を検討し、自藩の大名社会における位置、ひいては幕府権力の巨大さを認識するに至った可能性を指摘した。これは政治都市・儀礼都市江戸における勤番による特徴的な経験であり、こうした情報が伝えられることによって、格式や自藩の位置が認識されていったのではないかと考えられる。勤番武士については、今後、時期、藩の規模、藩士の階層、藩邸の所在地など、異なる事例を蓄積した上で、さらに全行動を対象として比較・検討する必要があろう。

Background: Severe abdominal aortic calcification (AAC) points to high cardiovascular risk and leptin stimulates arterial calcification; however, clinical data on their association are scarce. We studied the link between serum leptin and AAC severity and progression, and the effect of smoking and lipid levels, on this association in men. Methods and Results: At baseline, 548 community-dwelling men aged 50–85 years underwent blood collection and lateral lumbar spine radiography. In 448 men, X-ray was repeated after 3 and 7.5 years. AAC was assessed using Kauppila’s semiquantitative score. In multivariable models, high leptin was associated with higher odds of severe AAC (odds ratio [OR]=1.71 per SD, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.22–2.40). The odds of severe AAC were the highest in men who had elevated leptin levels and either were ever-smokers (OR=9.22, 95% CI: 3.43–24.78) or had hypertriglyceridemia (vs. men without these characteristics). Higher leptin was associated with greater AAC progression (OR=1.34 per SD, 95% CI: 1.04–1.74). The risk of AAC progression was the highest in men who had elevated leptin levels and either were current smokers or had high low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol levels (OR=5.91, 95% CI: 2.46–14.16 vs. men without these characteristics). These links remained significant after adjustment for baseline AAC and in subgroups defined according to smoking and low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol levels. Conclusions: In older men, high leptin levels are associated with greater severity and rapid progression of AAC independent of smoking, low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol or triglycerides.

本稿では,徳島県勝浦郡勝浦町のビッグひな祭りの事例を通して,地域固有の特徴ある民俗文化ではないごく一般的な民俗が,その地域を特徴付けるイベントとして成功し,地域おこしを果たしていく過程とその要因について分析し,現代社会における民俗の利用の様相を照射することを目的としている。徳島県勝浦町は,戦前から県下で最も早くミカン栽培が導入され,昭和40年代までミカン産地としてかなり潤っていたが,その後生産は低迷し,他の地方と同様人口流出が続いていた。こうしたなかで,地域おこしとして1988年,ビッグひな祭りが開催され,途中1年は開催されなかったが,以後現在まで連続して行っている。当初役場の職員を中心に,全国で誇れるイベントを作り出そうとして企画され,その対象はおもに町民であった。しかも雛祭り自体は勝浦町に特徴あるものではなく,また地域に固有の雛人形を前面に出したわけではない。各家庭で収蔵されていた雛人形を,勝浦町周辺地域からあつめて,巨大な雛段に飾ることで,イベントの特性を形成していった。さらに,町民が参加するかたちで,主催は役場職員から民間団体に移行し,開催会場のために土地建物を所有する。こうして民間主催のイベントにすることで,行政では制約が課されていたさまざまな企画を可能とするとともに,創作的な人形の飾り方を導入することで,多様な形態での町民の参加が可能となり,その新奇性からも町内外の観覧者を集めることに成功した。そして徳島県下から,近畿圏など広域の観光イベントとして成長していった。さらに,このノウハウとともに,集まった雛人形自体を贈与し,地域おこしを必要とする全国の市町村に積極的に供与することで,全国での認知も高まっていった。こうした状況を生み出す背景となったのは,実は戦後衣装着の人形飾りを用いた三月節供の行事が全国に浸透し,大量に消費された雛人形が各家庭で役目を終えたままとなっているからであり,それらを再利用する方法がみいだされたことによる。さらに自宅で飾られなくなった雛人形を観光を通して享受していくという,民俗の現在的な展開をも見て取ることができる。

In order to investigate the fate of 1-(2-tetrahydrofuryl)-5-fluorouracil (FT-207) in comparison with that of 5-fluorouracil tritiated FT-207 (<SUP>3</SUP>H-FT-207) and 5-fluovouracil (<SUP>3</SUP>H-5-fluorouracil)were administered from the rectum in normal and AH-130 tumor-bearing rats, and rapid absorption of <SUP>3</SUP>H-FT-207 or <SUP>3</SUP>H-5-fluorouracil, was observed. Blood level of radioactivity after rectal administration of <SUP>3</SUP>H-FT-207 was higher and more continuous than that of <SUP>3</SUP>H-5-fluorouracil. Although the radioactivity after rectal administration of <SUP>3</SUP>H-FT-207 and <SUP>3</SUP>H-5-fluovouracil was widely distributed in the various tissues of the animal with or without tumor, the highest concentration of the radioactivity was observed in the kidneys, and higher in tumor. The radioactivity in lymphatic gland reached a maximum level within 2-4 hr after the rectal administration of <SUP>3</SUP>H-FT-207 and declined very slowly. The urinary excretion of radioactivity within 24 hr was about 30% of the administered dose of <SUP>3</SUP>H-FT-207. More than 85% of the excreted radioactivity accounted for FT-207 and its metabolite, &alpha;-fluoro-&beta;-alanine. Other metabolites such as 5-fluorouracil, &alpha;-fluoro-&beta;-ureidopropionic acid and tritiated water were detected in small amounts in rat urine. The radioactivity in blood and tumor, 4 hr after rectal administration of <SUP>3</SUP>H-FT-207, was found to represent FT-207. However, the radioactivity in liver was due to the presence of &alpha;-fluoro-&beta;-alanine. About 90% radioactivity in lymphatic gland within 2-6 hr after rectal administration of <SUP>3</SUP>H-FT-207 was detected as FT-207.

免疫チェックポイント阻害薬は、現在本邦ではニボルマブ(オプジーボ^&reg;点滴静注)とイピリムマブ(ヤーボイ^&reg;点滴静注液)の2剤が承認され用いられている。<br>免疫チェックポイント阻害薬を用いた治療では、従来の抗がん薬とは異なる免疫関連有害事象(irAEs)という新しい概念の有害事象が生じる。これらirAEsに対しては、各診療科による集学的管理が必須となる。また、我々薬剤師による薬学的管理も求められている。

The antitumor activity of 1, 3-Bis (tetrahydro-2-furanyl) -5-fluoro-2, 4-pyrimidinedione (FD-1) was compared with that of 1- (2-Tetrahydrofuryl) -5-fluorouracil (FT) or 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) in a number of tumor systems.FD-1 had significant activity against the solid forms but not the ascitic forms, and it produced a greater inhibition in tumor growth than FT. On AH 130 solid form, the therapeutic index (LD50/ED50) of FD-1 and FT were respectively 18. 3 and 10.6.FD-1 was evaluated against the ip and sc implanted L 1210 leukemia by single, intermittent or daily administration. FD-1 retained some degree of antileukemic activity against the ic implanted L 1210.No significant difference in antitumor activity was observed between the R and S isomers or the racemic mixture (FD-1).A higher activity of FD-1 compared to FT was possibly due to the increased 5-FU level in tumor through its metabolite, 3- (tetrahydro-2-furanyl) -5-fluoro-2, 4-pyrimidinedione (3-FT).
