<tt>In this paper, we propose a method for determing the estimation of sealing strength. We use ultrasonic sealer for bottom sealing of cosmetic tubes. But the machine maker does not know technical parameter of this method as same as us. Generic fanction that we discuss on this study is y= βM equation. This equation shows that y means sample's strength, M means material's strength and β means constant value. lf the system is controled on the best tuning this equation </tt><tt>shows β = 1.</tt>

本研究は,がん患者のサポートグループの効果について,疾患部位や満期を混在した男性/疾患混合群(男性群),女性/疾患混合群(女性群),男女混合/疾患混合群(男女群)の3群を比較検討した.プログラムは,ミニレクチャー,グループ,自律訓練法で,週1回14O分の5回連続ヤッションとした.28名を分析対象とし,抑うつ症状(OES-D),前向き姿勢,がんへの心理的適応感(MAO),グループの雰囲気・参加度等を分析したところ,男性群は統計的に有意な変化はなかつたが,女性群,男女群はグループヘの参加によつて絶望感づ減少し,がんへの適応感づ増加した.以上より,心ずしも同一疾患のグループ編成でなくてもグループの効果が認められることが示唆された.

本研究では,要介護高齢者を対象として,低栄養を予防する要因を探るため,Sense of Coherence(前向き姿勢:SOC)と簡易栄養状態評価(MNA)との関連,さらに,SOCと身体自立度(ADL),生活習慣および口腔関連因子との関連について調べた.対象は北九州市内および近隣市に居住し,高齢者施設を利用する要介護在宅高齢者66名のうち,認知症・うつなど精神的問題がないと判断された63名(男性20名,女性43名,平均年齢81.1±7.0歳)について,面接聞き取り法によるSOC評価,MNAによる栄養状態の評価,また口腔の健康評価として,口腔内診査,嚥下機能検査を行った.生活習慣については面接聞き取りによる質問紙調査を行った.<br> その結果,SOCスコアは運動習慣,MNA,食欲,現在歯数との間に有意な関連性がみられた.さらに重回帰分析を行ったところ,交絡因子による調整後もSOCスコアとMNAとの間の有意性は保たれた.<br> したがって,高齢者の栄養状態の維持には前向きな姿勢が関与していることが示唆された.

The effects of fencing uniforms (U) on thermoregulatory responses were analyzed in both practical field investigation (PFI) and laboratory experiment (LE) . In PFI, six fencers (college-aged) performed regular fencing practice wearing U and wearing a short-sleeved shirt and pants (T) in summer. Rectal temperature (Tr), chest skin temperature (Tch), mask temperature (Tmk), heart rate (HR) and sweat rate (SR) were measured during fencing practice. In LE, seven male college-aged subjects performed three sessions of 20-min cycling at light intensity (250 W/m2) in a room temperature maintained at 28 WBGT (wet bulb globe temperature) . Esophageal temperature (Tes), mean skin temperature (Tsk), mean body temperature (Tb), HR, and SR were measured during exercise wearing U and in a semi-nude condition (N) . In both PFI and LE, increases in Tch, Tsk, Tb, Tes, Tr and SR were significantly (p<0.001) greater when wearing U than when wearing T and N. In PFI, the maximal value of Tr correlated significantly with the maximal values of Tch (r=0.513, p<0.001) and SR (r=0.635, p<0.001) during practice wearing U and T. In LE, positive correlations between Tsk and Tes (r=0.797, p<0.001), and between Tb and SR (r=0.658, p<0.02) were found at the end of exercise wearing U and N. In PFI, although the Tsk decreased within a few minutes of a decrease in Tmk, a significant relationship between the decrease in Tmk and Tsk or Tr was not observed during fencing practice. These results demonstrate that when wearing U, a higher skin temperature induces core temperature elevation, and higher skin and core temperatures are associated with increases in SR and HR during exercise in a hot environment. Thus, wearing light clothing during exercise, and taking off the fencing jacket and mask during rest periods would be recommended to reduce the heat stress during fencing practice in hot environments.

The aim of this essay is to locate the ongoing resurgence of Anzac Day in the context of neoliberalistculture since the late 1980s. Approaching to the centenary years of the First World War, theAnzac tradition is capturing the interests as a subject of historical studies. Some historians argue thenarrative surrounding Anzac Day works as a' civil religion' to substitute Christianity in the secular,multicultural society, while others criticise the growing nationalistic attachment to the Anzac legend,allegedly promoted under the Howard government, as the' militarisation' of Australian history. Thisessay focuses on the bipartisan social consciousness to use the Anzac myth as a source of national unity,with the rise of neo-liberalism from the Hawke labor government to the Abbott liberal government.The discursive shifts concerning Anzac Day over the last three decades demonstrate how therepresentation of history has been inclined to be more inclusive in terms of generation, ethnicity andcultural backgrounds. Various agents of memory, such as politicians, ex-servicemen, or academic historians,participate in constructing the cohesive memory which would incorporate non-Anglo-Celticminorities in the diverse population including indigenous Australians. This apparently harmoniousprocess of myth-making, however, came as a psychological retreat from the confronting debate oncolonisation and the' frontier wars'. In some cases, the emphasis on the indigenous war service offers asymbolic' reconciliation' through the Anzac tradition. That fits the political correctness in the multiculturalsociety and mediates the fragile sense of community under neo-liberalism. But, as shown in theprotest on Anzac Day in Canberra, the incorporation of indigenous history into the dominant nationalistnarrative is still problematic and traumatic. In this sense, the recent revival of Anzac Day symbolisesthe ambivalent attitude to history and national unity in Australia.

画像等の情報圧縮に3層ニューラルネットワークを応用する研究が近年なされているが,これを3層ニューラルネットワークで恒等写像を近似的に実現する問題としてとらえ,hidden層に一般に非線形ユニットをもつ場合に,主成分分析との関連を明らかにすることにより,データの統計的性質とhiddenユニット数および近似の度合いの下限値との関連を理論的に明らかにした.これにより,3層ネットワークによる情報圧縮の性能は,従来のK-L変換を用いる方法による性能を越えることはないことを理論的に示した.また,汎化(generalization)の現象の理論付けをこの場合に行った.

Stable carbon isotope ratio of 13C to 12C is applied to problems of geochemical correlation of crude oil to source rock on the assumption that isotope ratio of kerogen is heavier by ranging from 0.5 to 3‰ in δ13C values than that of oil when oils and kerogens are genetically related. The accumulated oils have δ13C values ranging from -23 to -22‰ and, consequently, those of source kerogens are expected to be in range from -23 to -19‰ in the Niigata basin. The source kerogens appear at two stratigraphic horizons. One of them is the Nanatani Formation to the lower part of the Teradomari Formation (source “D”) and the other is the top of the Shiiya Formation to the base of the Nishiyama Formation (source “S”). The source “S”, which is confirmed for the first time using stable carbon isotopes, is distributed in the area of the Niitsu, Minami Aga and Aga Oki oil fields, but it is absent in the area of Higashi Niigata and Matsuzaki gas fields. From this result, it may be inferred that the source “S” contribute to generation of the oils accumulated in the Shiiya and the Nishiyama Formations in these oil fields.

The baker's yeast mediated reduction of ketones with various kinds of functional groups provides a useful method for the synthesis of optically active secondary alcohols. Compared with the usual chemical methods using chiral metal hydride reagents, the advantages of the present method are the easier availability of the yeast, milder reaction conditions, i. e. at room temperature in water under air atmosphere, higher optical yield and chemoselectivity especially in the reduction of saturated ketones. Asymmetric reduction of carbon-carbon double bond and the carbon-carbon bond forming reaction of α, β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds are also accomplished by baker' s yeast. The products thus obtained are applied as chiral building blocks to the synthesis of various natural products.
