目的 加熱調理において、ガスとIHコンロという熱源の違いが(1)調理操作時の精神的及び肉体的負担(ストレスと表現)、(2)調理の仕上がり状態に及ぼす影響を明らかにする。方法 熱源としてガス及びIHコンロを使用し、20~60代の異なる年齢層に「炒める(野菜炒め)・焼く(焼き魚)・蒸す(茶碗蒸し)・揚げる(竜田揚げ)」の4種類の加熱調理をしてもらい、調理時のストレス及び調理の仕上がりを比較した。焼く、揚げるでは、ガス・IHそれぞれの両面焼きグリルの自動調理機能、揚げ物機能を利用した。調理時のストレスは、「操作のしやすさ・煙などによる不快感・調理中の不安感・調理の達成感」などについて5段階で評価させた。調理の仕上がりについても官能評価による外観、香り、味、総合評価など5段階で評価させ、結果を統計ソフトSPSSにより集計した。結果 調理操作においては、撹拌のしやすさ(炒め物)、油の予熱時間の短さ、火加減の調節しやすさ、調理の達成感などについてガスコンロによる調理が優位と評価された。とくに野菜炒めと竜田揚げについて、その差が大きかった。調理後の掃除のしやすさについてはIHが優位と評価された。ともにコンロの安全対策が充実しているためか、調理中の安全性については差が認められなかったが、一方でIHにおいて、火が見えないことへの不安を覚えるモニターもみられた。また、ガスのように、実際に火を見て自在に調節することが、調理の達成感につながるとの回答も多く見られた。料理の仕上がりについては茶碗蒸しには差がなかったが、焼き魚の焼き色と食感、竜田揚げの色においてガスコンロによる調理が優位と評価され、その差が顕著であった。

甲府盆地北東部の花崗岩体周辺では、近年、深部掘削による温泉開発が盛んに行われてきた。温泉の新規掘削や既存源泉の保護には、温泉水の起源や泉質形成機構を解明することが不可欠である。本研究では、当該地域に分布する非火山性温泉水を採取し分析するとともに、水-鉱物相互作用の化学平衡論による検証を実施し、温泉水の起源と泉質形成機構を考察した。温泉水のδD, δ18O値の特徴はいずれの温泉水も天水が起源であること示唆した。温泉水の泉質は、花崗岩地域では曹長石の風化に起因したNa-HCO3型であり、火山岩類の分布地域では曹長石の風化のほかに硬石膏の溶解、およびモンモリロナイトによるイオン交換作用が寄与し、Na-HCO3型、Na-SO4型、Na-HCO3・SO4・Cl型、Ca-SO4型と多様な泉質を示すと考えられた。

Effects of carbon addition on microstructure of Ti-V alloys formed at high temperatures were investigated.    By adding carbon to pure Ti and Ti-V binary alloys, precipitation of TiC occurs. With increase of vanadium content, β/(β+TiC) phase boundary shifts to the lower carbon side slightly. On the other hand (α+β)/(α+β+TiC) boundaries shifts largely with decreases in α fraction and peritectoid reaction temperature by addition of vanadium.    Addition of carbon to a Ti-15V-3Cr-3Sn-3Al alloy results in extensive suppression of recovery during hot deformation of β phase by carbon in solution. Also age hardening kinetics of Ti-15V-3Cr-3Sn-3Al after β solutionizing was accelerated by carbon addition.

Z-360 is a novel cholecystokinin (CCK)-2/gastrin receptor antagonist that is being developed for the treatment of pancreatic adenocarcinoma in combination with gemcitabine. A previous study shows that the co-administration of Z-360 with gemcitabine significantly prolonged the survival of mice with orthotopically implanted human pancreatic adenocarcinoma cell lines. To clarify the therapeutic effects of Z-360 in combined with gemcitabine, we analyzed gene expression. When gemcitabine was administered, CCK-2/gastrin receptor expression was induced in an orthotropic xenograft model; the result indicating that Z-360 could act on gemcitabine-sensitive cells. Both in vitro and in vivo studies showed that gemcitabine increased the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA), a prognostic factor for survival in pancreatic cancer, while Z-360 suppressed this induction of VEGFA gene expression. These results help to explain how Z-360 prolongs survival when used in combination with gemcitabine.

Although, in designing blades, it is assumed that all blades on a disk are identical (tuned system), the vibration characteristics of the blade is slightly different due to the manufacturing tolerance, the deviation of the material property, and so on (mistuned system). As a result, in the forced response of an actual bladed disk caused by the flow distortion, the responses of all the blades on a disk become different, and the response of a certain blade may become extremely large, due to the split of the duplicated natural frequencies, the distortion of the vibration modes, and so on. On the other hand, it is suggested by many researchers that the mistuning suppresses the blade flutter, because the complete travelling wave mode is not formed in a disk. In other words, the effect of the mistuning acts on the dangerous side for the forced vibration, while on the safety side for the blade flutter. In this study, the stability analysis and the frequency response analysis of mistuned bladed disks are carried out using the reduced model with high fidelity, in order to research the vibration characteristics of typical mistuned bladed disks. Based on the analysis results, an optimal design procedure of mistuned bladed disks considering both the forced response and the self-excited vibration is proposed.

テレワークは、「情報通信技術を活用した場所や時間にとらわれない柔軟な働き方」のことであり、自宅でも職場と同様に仕事ができるという点で有事におけるリスクマネジメントとしての効果が期待されている。本研究では、東日本大震災後の交通網の混乱に関する事例に着目し、実際のテレワークの導入状況や効果について、企業雇用労働者2000名を対象としたWebアンケート調査を実施した。結果から、(1)通勤困難な状況下でも、多くの社員が出社しようとしていた、(2)テレワークの導入企業は全体の1割弱程度であった、(3)以降の交通網の混乱の事例に反省が活かされていない可能性がある、(4)テレワークの導入により交通網の混乱時における態度及び対応が変化する可能性がある、ことが示された。

The purpose of this paper is to analyze school systems from the point of view of the working circumstances for school staff, especially for the teachers. For the improvement of teachers' working conditions, it is necessary to clarify the characteristics of school education in Japan and some alternative choices related also to school administration should be suggested. Concretely they are described, explained, and proposed below. 1. working in school education and the health of the teacher One basic characteristic of the teaching and learning process in school education is that teaching does not correlate directly with learning. We should always acknowledge the difference and sometimes contrary relation between them. In addition to that, although learning activities cannot be observed empirically, yet the teaching staff is asked to somehow demonstrate the educational "effect" of their work. With this background, teachers should be aware that they are apt to develop some irrational belief in their work, and that might in turn cause them health problems, for example from the stress of prolonged overwork. 2. today's school risk that has not been clearly recognized Two points of school risk in Japan should be discussed. One is that the view of school has changed from that of the past several decades. Although outside of school the community, family, work, and life have drastically developed, the basic conditions of school have remained static. On the other hand, because of the lack of laws and regulations for schools, the definition of teacher's work is vague, which often brings long hours of overwork. As one example in Germany, it is total clear that "educational freedom" of each teacher is defined not only in act, but also in regulation in states. It means that each stakeholder in schooling has rights and responsibilities, and legislation has developed to a point that the balance among stakeholders is strained. 3. internal transfer system which regularly reassigns teachers between schools One explicit characteristic of personnel management in Japan is the regular transfer of staff between schools. This is a big burden on teachers and other school staff members. Every some years they must continually reconstruct the relationships between colleagues, the students, the parents, and the other residents of the school district. Besides simple lateral transfers, not a small number of cases arise where the transfer is between different types of schools.4. staffing and working in schools and school management School principals and vice-principals take their posts for only a few years, a much shorter time than that of teachers, on average. It is not easy for them to show school management plans and ideas to their subordinates and colleagues after only few days in the new post. Furthermore, a teacher's work is basically independent and autonomous. That asks teachers to manage their cognition and emotion in a very short time in the class. With this background teachers might make unexpected misjudgments or surfer from the framework that they have built up by themselves. 5. possible school design I propose two points by choice, one of them is to orient highly centralized school system or decentralized, independent management in each school. The other is not only to preach to the teachers, but also to improve the working circumstances objectively. From now on, an experimental attitude and experimental practices in school should be more highly regarded and more strongly promoted for better and effective working.

An 8-year-old castrated male cat presented with acute ataxia and paresis in all four limbs. The cat also exhibited signs of autonomic nervous system impairment. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed swelling of the brachial plexuses bilaterally. Despite treatment, the cat died after 10 days of treatment. A postmortem examination revealed swollen radial nerves and cervical nerve roots in which infiltration of inflammatory cells was histologically confirmed. Additionally, lymphocytic infiltration was found around the blood vessels of the sciatic nerve bundle and the vagus nerve. Histological features were comparable to previously reported brachial plexus hypertrophic neuritis in a cat. Our case was unique in that the autonomic nerves were also involved in addition to the somatic nerves in all four limbs.

日本人が未だ住みこなしていない都市集合住宅地において生活騒音,ペット飼育等の近所迷惑の実態を明らかにし,気持ちよく住むための「住み方ルール」を明らかにするのが本研究の目的である。過去5か年(1983~87)の新聞記事を分析した結果,騒音問題が迷惑の第一位であり,次に特に最近の傾向としてペット問題が大きくなってきていることがわかった。そのためアンケート調査では,それらに1つの焦点をあてて調査し検討している。調査対象地は,大阪市の南港ポートタウンである。調査により得られた知見のいくつかは以下の通りである。(1)住み始めに挨拶まわりをする習慣はほぼ維持されており,範囲は3割ほどが「両隣と上下の住戸」,2割はどが「両隣だけ」となっている。(2)生活騒音にかかわる生活時間では,起床・就寝,楽器演奏,洗濯,入浴等の生活時間に,ばらつきがみられ特に夜更しの生活も増えている。互いに迷惑にならないよう一定の生活コントロールが必要になろう。(3)生活騒音に対する「住み方ルール化」では,特に早朝深夜の楽器演奏は「厳しく禁止」の意向が強い。(4)生活騒音を減らす重点として「居住者の自主性が肝心」との見解が過半を占める。(5)ぺット飼育は5%未満だが,実態はより多いと推定しうる。(6)ペット飼育について3割弱は禁止すべきでないとしている。(7)「住まいのしおり」は,7割ほどがもらっていて一応は目を通している人が多い。(8)「住み方ルール」のあり方として「個人個人の自主性に任せるしかない」とする意見が圧倒的に多い。 以上をもとに,項目ごとに多くの人々に受け入れ可能な「標準住み方ルール」をつくり,「住まいのしおり」の改善等を通じて普及,定着してゆくことが緊急の課題といえる。

Two dogs with low plasma testosterone (T) levels and poor semen quality were administered one tablet of 12.5 mg clomiphene citrate orally per day at 2-day intervals for 4 weeks. Plasma T levels, total sperm count, and sperm motility in both dogs temporarily increased between 3 and 6 weeks after the start of treatment. These results indicate that poor semen quality in dogs with low plasma T level can be improved by oral administration of clomiphene citrate.

Sail forces were measured in a full-scale sailing boat with the use of a sail force dynamometer. This apparatus consisted of an aluminum frame fixed to the hull by way of several load cells. The sailing boat was modified so that the dynamometer frame could be installed inside the hull. The mast, stays, winches, and other sailing rig were fixed on the frame so as to transmit all the forces acting on sail to the frame. By transforming the measured forces, the lift force, drag force, thrust, side force, or the center of effort of the sail force could be obtained. The sailing conditions of the boat, such as the boat speed, heel angle, wind speed, wind angle, and so on, were also measured.Sail shapes of the boat in the up-wind condition were also measured with the use of CCD cameras installed in the boat. The sail shape images taken by the cameras were transformed to bit-map files, and then processed by an SSA-2 D, a sail shape analyzing software. With the use of this software, sail shape parameters were obtained. The relationship between the measured sail forces and the sail shape parameters is discussed in this paper. Moreover, the measured sail shapes were used as the input data for the numerical calculations.Numerical calculations were performed to estimate the sail forces of the boat. In the calculations, two sails, a mainsail and a jib, were modeled in the form of a vortex lattice. The vortex lattice method was adopted as the numerical calculation method. Step by step calculations were conducted up to attaining the steady state of the sail in steady wind. Calculated sail forces were compared with the measured forces, and the validity of the numerical method was studied.
